You both looked at Sonic who was crossing his arms with a smirk on his face. Shadow growled at him as he dropped you. Once he let you go, you quickly hid behind a nearby tree.

"I know you are a grump but threatening a lady? That's so unlike you bro."

"This is between me and her. You have no right to interfere."

"I actually do have the right to interfere. You were about to hurt this lovely lady." You stayed quiet as you watched the 2 hedgehogs arguing.

"I wasn't going to hurt her. I was trying to scare her so she knows what happens when you mess with me."

"Well I'll take care of it Shadow. You can go and do your own thing." Shadow looked at you with a glare and then looked at Sonic. Suddenly, he teleported away as Sonic walked towards you.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah. That was close."

"I wanted to apologize about Shadow. He's not exactly a nicest hedgehog but he can be kind whenever he feels like it. It's just who he is. He can get angry easily and likes to be alone."

"Ok."

"Also I'm sorry for leaving you like that. I'll stay with you from now on until we get to Tails' house." You were wondering what would happen if Sonic didn't arrive in time. When you arrived at Tails' house, Sonic opened the door and walked inside. Sonic looked at you and said,

"Don't worry. Tails already knew we were coming." You nodded and walked inside.

"Tails! We're here!" Suddenly, you saw a young male fox with yellow fur and blue eyes. You were shocked when you noticed that he had two tails. He looked at you and smiled softly.

"Hello! You must be Y/N. Sonic told me a bit about you. I'm Tails."

Tails took out his hand to give you a handshake. You smiled and shook his hand.

"Hey Tails, have you gotten through Scourge yet?" Sonic asked.

"Not yet but I will tonight."

"Alright."

"So you're from Earth huh?" Tails asked. You nodded your head.

"Sadly...the Chaos Emeralds are still missing but there might be a way to bring you back home."

"Really?!"

"Yup. I just need to build a portal machine and I might need the Master Emerald."

"Oh boy. Not again." Sonic said.

"I'm sorry but we don't have a choice right now."

"True. I don't want to keep you away from your home now do I?" Sonic said with a smile. You smiled back and looked at Tails.

"Looks like we're going on a mini trip to Angel Island!" Tails said.
