They followed Razor and Undina into the castle. Lava looked at you and your friends and said,

"Wait here."

Lava and Stream swam inside the castle.

"Mom! Dad! Look what Razor found!" Undina said as she showed them the gem.

They looked at it surprised.

"That's a Chaos Emerald!"

"I haven't seen it in years."

"What's it doing down here?" The King asked.

Before they could say anything, Stream and Lava swam inside.

Razor saw them and growls.

"Pardon the intrusion your majesties but I believe someone has something that belongs to us." Lava said as she glared at Razor.

"They have been making contact with the Land Mobians! They are somewhere in these waters as we speak."

Undina gasps from hearing this as the Queen looked surprised.

"Oh my."

"You know the rules to communicating with creatures from the surface."

"Yeah but when was the last time we ever did? It's been years and I'm pretty sure things have changed." Stream said.

"You heard the King, now why don't you just scram?" Razor said.

"I had enough to deal with you, Razor!" Lava said in an angry tone.

They started to argue as Undina watched in confused, along with her parents.

Meanwhile with you and the others, you've been waiting in silence for the sharks to come back as Knuckles was getting impatient.

"How long is this gonna take?"

"Be patient Knuckles. We just have to wait and see." Tails said.

"This is ridiculous!"

"Why did you even come then?" Silver asked.

They started to argue with each other as you decided to give them space.

You sat by the window next to Sonic who was still unconscious. You smiled a bit, thinking how cute he looked but you quickly shook your thoughts away, wondering why you were thinking about such things.

"What am I thinking? He's my friend. I can't think like that."

You sighed and stared out the window a bit until you noticed a shadow of an object nearby.

"Huh?"

You tried to look at it better but it was to far away. You noticed that Tails' binoculars was nearby so you began to use it and took a better look.

It seemed to be a pirate ship but it wasn't above the water nor on the ocean floor destroyed. It was just floating in the water.

You were confused by this and you were about to ask the others about it but you reminded yourself that things like this are probably normal in their world and it wasn't that important to tell them so you kept a good look at it for awhile to see if anything happens.

On the ship, there were a few pirates on there and one of them was a red shark who was the captain.

"We found the location of the jewel Captain."

"Where is it?"

The pirate pointed at the castle as she smirked.

"He's not very bright, is he? Alright everyone! You know the drill! Let's get prepared right away!"

"Yes Captain!"

The pirates got to work as she walks towards the front of the ship. She stares from afar and smirks.

"You know how much I hate waiting! So hurry it up!"

They got into positions quickly and one of them started driving towards the castle as the captain chuckles deeply.

Back with you and the others, you noticed the ship started to move as it was heading towards the castle.

You didn't say anything at first but then you noticed that something was off.

"Hey Y/N, are you alright? You've seen staring at the window for quite awhile." Silver said as he walked towards you.

"Oh I'm fine. It's just... don't ships usually move on the ocean's surface?"

"What do you mean?"

You gave Silver the binoculars as he went to take a look.

Once he did, he immediately called for the others.

"Tails, Knuckles, you might want to take a look at this."

They turned their heads as they walked towards you and Silver.

"What's going on?"

"There's like a ship underwater and it's coming this way."

"A ship?"

They both looked outside since it was closer, a little to close.

"Uh...Does it know where it's going?" Silver asked as he puts the binoculars down.

When it was in full sight, Tails widened his eyes.

"Look out!"

He quickly tried to move out of the way but the ship knocked them to the side a bit, making them lose their balance.

"W-Whoa!"

On the ship, the captain growled at the driver.

"Watch where you're going!"

"Sorry Captain."

The captain went back to face forward and looked at the castle.

"Argh me mateys! Get ready to fire in 3...2...1!"

They activated the cannon and it starts heading towards the castle.
