The next morning, you slowly woke up to the smell of your (Favorite breakfast) as the others were at the table.

Cream noticed you and jumped from her seat, running towards you.

"Good morning Miss Y/N! Did you sleep well!?"

"Yeah actually. Thank you for asking."

"You're welcome! My Mommy made some delicious (favorite food) for breakfast! Wanna join us?"

"I am pretty hungry."

You held Cream's hand as she took you towards the dining table.

The others looked at you and smiled.

"Good morning Y/N. Hope you slept well. Vanilla said.

"I did. Thank you."

Vanilla gave you a plate/bowl of food, along with (your favorite breakfast drink) as you started to eat.

"Man, I felt like I haven't eaten in forever." Silver said as he took another bite.

"This food is pretty tasty." Tails said with a smile.

Vanilla smiled at them as she went to continue making extra.

"So what's the plan for today?" Knuckles asked.

"Once the girls show up, we'll head out to our next destination. But I think Y/N might have to sit this one out." Tails said.

"What? Why?"

"This next one is near a volcano and who knows what will happen if we brought you. So... I'm afraid you'll have to skip this one."

You were a little disappointed since you were looking forward on your next adventure but Sonic pats your back.

"Don't worry, maybe the next one will be nicer. We just gotta keep you safe."

"I understand."

After breakfast, there was a knock on the door as Vanilla went to open it.

"Hello girls. Glad you could make it."

"Hi Vanilla! Are the guys still here?" Blaze asked.

"They're all in the living room."

Amy quickly rushed in before Blaze and Rouge could blink.

"Well that was quick." Rouge said.

"Sonic! We're here!"

Sonic went pale as he forgotten about Amy.

He was about to run when he was tackled to the ground.

"Oof!"

You were a bit startled from this as the others laughed a bit.

"I missed you so much!" Amy kissed his face a few times.

"Amy....can't....breathe!..."

Knuckles rolled his eyes and pulled Amy away from him.

"You're gonna end up killing him one of these days."

"I will not! I..." When Amy noticed you, she widened her eyes.

"Hey. Haven't we met before?"

"Kinda... You were looking for Sonic before?"

"Oh yeah! Sorry I didn't get to introduce myself! I'm Amy! Sonic's girlfriend!" Amy said as she shook your hand.

"Girlfriend?"

Rouge and Blaze came in with a small laugh as they heard this.

When Sonic caught his breath, he tried to tell you something but got interrupted.

"She's..."

"What's your name?" Amy asked.

"I'm Y/N."

"Hello sweetheart. I'm Rouge and this is Blaze."

"Hello." Blaze said with a wave.

"Hi."

"Glad you can make it girls. We're about to start our next search." Tails said.

Rouge looked at Knuckles and smirked.

"How did you get big guy to help?"

"Oh shut up! I'm not heartless!"

"Never said you were."

"Finally! Another adventure with Sonic! I'm so excited!" Amy said with a big grin.

"Heh. Me too Ames. Me too." Sonic said nervously.

As you watched this, you couldn't help but feel uneasy by what was happening.

"Sorry we couldn't stay long to chat but maybe we can hang out when we get back." Rouge said.

"Sure. That's fine." Y/N said.

"Alright! Let's go!"

Your friends all headed out as you, Vanilla, Cream, and Cheese waved goodbye.

You were a bit disappointed that you had to miss out but Cream held your hand gently.

"Don't worry Miss Y/N. Everything will be alright. They'll be back soon."

"I know they will."

Later, you, Cream and Cheese were watching cartoons when suddenly they heard the door bell.

"Who could that be?"

Cheese flew towards the door and looked through the peak hole.

"Chao Chao!"

"Who is it Cheese?" Cream asked.

"Chao Chao!"

You were confused on what he was saying since you obviously don't speak his language.

"Open the door Cheese! Let him in!" Cream said.

"Hmm?"

Cheese opened the door and moved out of the way for the Mobian to walk in.

When you saw who it was, you were shocked.

"Shadow!?"

Shadow just looked at you with a blank stare.

"Y/N."

"Oh! You two know each other?"

You were about to speak but Shadow beat you to it.

"Barely but I need to borrow her for a moment."

"What's going on?"

"It's none of your concern. It is rather important."

"Shall I call Sonic for this?"

"The last thing I need is that blue hedgehog all up in my business."

Shadow looked at you.

"You must come with me at once."

"Why? What do you want from me?"

"I don't want to argue. Just come with me if you want answers."

You were skeptical about this as Cream spoke to you.

"It's ok Y/N. He probably needs to talk to you about something really important."

"Is he even trust worthy?"

"I usually don't enjoy moments like this either but I might have answers to why you were brought here."

"You do? But how can I trust you? You and Sonic don't seem to get along."

"That's because we don't. Now are you gonna waste my time or are you coming?"

You looked at Shadow for a second and then at Cream.

"He doesn't play around Miss Y/N. I would do as he says."

You sighed and stood up.

"Alright. I'll go with you."

"Wise choice. Let's go." Shadow said as he went outside.

You looked at Cream.

"Are you sure about this?"

"He may not look friendly but he does want to help you. You just have to give him a chance."

"Alright then. If Sonic and the others get here before me, tell them that I'll be back soon."

"I will. Good luck Miss Y/N."

"Chao."

"Cheese wishes you luck as well."

"Thanks guys."

You hugged them both as they hugged you back.

You looked at the door and started heading out, closing the door behind you.
