Sonic wakes up as he notices that he's in another city.
Sonic: Hmm? Where am I?
Sonic takes a look around as he sees a poster.
Sonic: Hmm? Afterglow.
Man: Yeah, man. Afterglow is amazing!
Sonic: Really?
Man: Yeah. Their music is amazing not to mention the girls too! There's also a studio.
Sonic: There is? Where is it?
Man: Just take that right and you'll see it.
Sonic: Thanks.
Sonic takes the poster and runs off to the studio.
Sonic: Maybe those girls can be nice to let me stay with them.

In the studio:

Sonic opens the door as he sees instruments on the walls, tables, and posters.
Sonic: *Whistles* This studio is cool. There's a ton of instruments too. Reminds me back when me and my siblings used to play the instruments.
Marina: Welcome to the studi- wha!
Sonic: Huh?
Marina: Wh-Who are you?!
Sonic: Oh, hey, there I'm a hedgehog.
Marina: A hedgehog?
Sonic: Yep. Name's Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog. And you are.
Marina: I'm Marina. Nice to meet you.
Sonic: Anyway, I'm here for Afterglow.
Marina: Oh, Afterglow? There by the door right there. They don't want anyone to be in right now.
Sonic: That's okay. Thanks.
Sonic walks next to the door and hears in front of what they're saying.

In the studio lounge:
Tomoe: Okay. I think we've got this song down.
Himari: Yeah we do! That's the power of friendship! We childhood friends of Afterglow are invincible!
Moca: You say that now. I'm pretty sure you missed a beat in the first verse there, Hii-chan.
Himari: Uhh...
Tsugumi: E-Even so, that was really well done, Himari-chan.
Moca: Really well done, Himari-chan.
Himari: Hmph!
Tomoe: Come on, Moca, leave her alone.
Moca: Fine.
Tomoe: How did you think it went, Ran?
Ran: The same as always, really.
Himari: There's the catchphrase, "Same as always"!
Moca: Ooh.
Ran: Don't say it like that.
Tsugami: We all know what you mean, Ran. The same amazing sound as always." It's a good thing!
Sonic: Looks like there doing something there. I'll just go.
Sonic walks as he trips on the floor.
Sonic: Oww!
Marina: Oh no!
Tomoe: What was that?
Himari: Was that someone?
Tsugumi: I'll go check it out.
Tsugumi opens the door as she looks to see a blue hedgehog on the floor.
Sonic: He he. Hey.
Tsugumi: Ahhhh!
Ran: Tsugami!
Tomoe: What's wrong?!
The rest of them comes out as they were all surprised by a blue creature.
Himari: He's so cute!
Moca: It's like a animal.
Sonic: Hmm? Hey there.
Everyone was surprised as the animal could talk.
Everyone: (He just talked.)
Tsugumi: Who are you?
Sonic gets back up.
Sonic: Name's Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog.
Everyone: A hedgehog?
Sonic: Yep. What's yours?
Tsugumi: I'm Tsugami Hazawa. Nice to meet you.
Himari: Himari Uehara. Good to meet you.
Tomoe: Tomoe Udagawa. Nice to meet you.
Moca: Moca Aoba. Pleasure to meet you.
Ran: Ran Mitake.
Sonic: Nice to meet all of you.
Tomoe: What brings you up here?
Sonic: Well, you mind if I stay with you girls?
Ran: What?!
Moca: Staying...?
Sonic: Well, you see, I kinda don't have anywhere to stay. So...
Himari: I don't mind if he stays with us. He's like a pet.
Sonic: I'm not a pet.
Tomoe: I guess.
Moca: I don't mind.
Ran: ... If you want to.
Tsugumi: Of course.
Sonic: Thanks.
Tomoe: Anyway, we should get back in the lounge.
Himari: Yeah.
The rest of the members went inside except for Tsugumi and Sonic.
Sonic: He he. Sorry for scaring you.
Tsugumi: No, no it's fine. I was just surprised that's all.
Sonic: Yeah. Let's get in.
As Sonic gets in he sees the girls instruments.
Sonic: Woah! This must be your instruments.
Tsugumi: Right. Ran is the leader of the band. She plays guitar and vocals. Moca also plays guitar. Himari plays the bass. Tomoe is the drummer. And for me, I'm keyboard.
Sonic: Wow.
Tomoe: For us, the best we can be is the "same as always." That way, we know we're still putting out the best music possible.
Moca: I'm getting tired of staying cooped up in this studio though. I wanna try performing live sometime.
Sonic: Live. Isn't it like you perform with people around.
Tsugumi: Yeah. Oh, have you ever played an instrument before?
Sonic: I did, but it was a long time. I played a guitar also.
Tsugumi: That's cool.
Himari: Great idea! I think I think I wanna try performing live sometime too!
Ran: I'm in.
Tomoe: Me too. It'll be good to get back on stage thrashing the drums again.
Tsugumi: And I'll do my best on the keyboard, too!
Moca: And Hii-chan will get all emotional and cry again, I bet.

Sonic: Same here.
Tsugumi; Hehe. Maybe we should stop by that bakery, then. The one you really like. I'm sure you'll like it too.
Moca: Perfect, Tsugu. Exactly what I wanted to hear.
Tomoe: First things first, let's all tidy up the studio.
Sonic then cleans up the studio with his speed as he was finished.
Sonic: There you go. All done.
Everyone was surprised.
Moca: Wow.
Tomoe: He moved so fast.
Sonic: That's because I'm the fastest thing alive.
Tsugumi: Fastest thing alive?
Sonic: Yep. Anyway, let's go, I'm hungry.
Himari: Before we go, I'll go and settle the bill, then. Everyone, money over this way!
Moca: How much was it again?
Himari: The same as last time!
Moca: Right... so... 100 yen?
Himari: You know that's not right!
Sonic and Tsugumi both laughs.
Sonic, Tsugumi: Hahaha!
Ran them gets a phone call.
Ran: ....
Moca: Ran?

Few minutes later:
Himari: All dome! I went ahead and put in our next reservation, too.
Sonic: Alright then. All that's left is to get food.
Moca: Hey. Where's Ran?
Sonic: Hmm? Ran?
Tsugumi: She's not here.
Tomoe: I wonder where she is.
Himari: She's right there.
Ran comes back in the lounge.
Ran: Sorry. I had to take a call.
Moca: .....
Tomoe: Are you feeling okay, Ran? You look kinda tired...
Sonic: Yeah, is something wrong?
Ran: I'm fine... Let's go. We don't want the bakery to close on us.
Moca: Wait, wait, hold on! If Yamabuki Bakery closes... does that mean...?
Ran: You don't get any bread
Moca: But... that's not good! That's really not good!
Ran: We'd better get moving then.
Himari: After all this time, it still amazes me how Ran follows Moca's wandering mind like that.
Tsugumi: Of course we're all great childhood friends, but those two have something special. On stage and off, they're like two bodies with one mind.
Sonic: Really?
Tomoe: They don't even need words to communicate anymore. It's all pure feelings.
Tsugumi: Yes! That's a great way to describe it.
Moca: What are you guys talking about? We have to go, before the bread disappears.
Ran: Let's go, Moca.
Ran and Moca leaves.
Himari: Hey, wait for me! Hmph! They're always doing this!
Tomoe: Same as always I guess.
Tsugumi: Haha, oh yeah.
Sonic: Well, good thing I have- oh no, I forgot my money. Now I'll never eat anything.
Tsugumi: Don't worry, I'll pay for you.
Sonic: You sure?
Tsugumi: Sure, I don't mind.
Sonic: Thank you so much!
Tsugumi: Haha!
Himari: Tomoe! Tsugu! Sonic! Come on!
Tomoe: Yes, yes. I guess we should get going too, then.
Tsugumi: Okay! Come on, Sonic-chan!
Sonic: Sonic-chan?
Tsugumi: Oh is it wrong to call you that?
Sonic: Oh, no, it's fine. I'm just surprised that's all. Anyway, let's go!
