This chapter will be short.

I fell, almost blinded, down a hole. I had a flashlight fell really dizzy and my whole body hurt. Even though I hurt, I saw ledges flying past me and I tried to land on one but to no avail. Just then I felt pain on the back of my head and woke up. As my eyes adjusted, I realized I was in a bag. From my senses, I realized that the bag was being carried, along with my quills per the weightless feeling in my body and pain in my head. Presumably by Shadow. I wondered why Shadow didn't just teleport me. It took me a while to wrap my head around this question, as I still felt groggy from that dart. I was about to reach the answer when the bag was dropped. I screamed, not knowing how high up I was. When I screamed, I heard a few yells from where ever I was. Upon impact to the ground, I curled into a ball and shut my eyes tightly. I lay there until someone opened the bag. I knew it was open because I felt cool are rushing in to brush my quills. I expected to get picked up but didn't feel anything. I decided it was safe, so I opened my eyes and relaxed a little. What I saw shocked me. I saw the back of Tails! I heard voices and caught a bit of conversation.

"Wait. Let me get this straight. You caught the Prince of Mobius, brought him here, and want ME to transport him to the castle?" Tails asked.

"Yes. But you should probably see who Prince Maurice is." My heart practically stopped at the gruff voice I recognized only as Shadows. "He should be awake now. He put up quite a fight so I had to tranquilize him." Shadow added at seeing Tails' horrified face. After Shadow explained, Tails turned around and caught his first glance of the Prince of Mobius.

Tails gasped and said, "S-sonic?!? You're the P-prince of Mobius?" His surprise quickly turned to anger as he shouted, "HOW COME YOU NEVER TOLD ME THIS?!?" I flinched and was about to respond when Shadow stepped in.

"Sonic, I'm sorry, but we can't have you escaping on the way." Then he shot me again! The nerve of him! I felt the familiar sensation and welcomed it eagerly. I didn't want to see Tails to suffer because of me, and besides, my body was still sore. Then, everything went black for the second time that day.
