Third Person P.O.V.

The gang separate right as they look around to see they are in the layer between the last piece of the planet and the core. Eggman had his carrier back under controlled and rages at his defeat. "How could I lose?!? This isn't over! I'll build a Prototype-2 and it..." He halts his ranting as he sees something.

Purple tendrils burst up from the lava and the being they are attached to rises out of it. "Whoa!" Sonic breathes out. He, (Y/N) and Chip watching in shock. The creature lifts itself up to stand upright. "What?" Sonic says as he stares at the slim but large creature. "Is that..." (Y/N) trails off as her eyes widen in worry. (Yep.) "It's Dark Gaia." Chip confirms. Dark Gaia stares them down with small eyes that were a solid white color with light purple outlining them, long skinny arms with sharp fingers resembling claws, the sides of their head pointing outwards while looking as though they are closed mouths, and the top of their split open down to their back to reveal the same purple energy emit out of it. They open their mouth in a low snarl, fangs sticking out and a dark pink emitting from his mouth.

"Yes... YES! Dark Gaia! Crush this insolent little hedgehog. Kick him to the out limits of space!" Eggman cheers on the entity. However, he sees one it's tendrils shoot at him. Sending him flying away, "Why meeeee?!?" He disappears into the sky. (Because you ain't the final boss. 😏)

Dark Gaia sends some of their tendrils at Sonic, (Y/N) and Chip. The little god moves to fight, but Sonic grabs him and (Y/N) and jumps away in time before the tendrils hit them. He lands on another rock and the three stand together as they glare down Dark Gaia. The dark god widens their eyes as they glow brightly, Sonic suddenly collapses onto his knees as he shakes in pain. (Y/N) notices and gets on her knees, "Sonic? Sonic, what's wrong?" She asks, her hands over him as Ashe worries hurting him. Chip throws a few punches but stops as he looks at Sonic. "Sonic! What's wrong?" He asks worriedly.

Sonic opens his mouth in a silent scream and digs his claws into the ground. Chip and (Y/N) share a brief and concern look then focus on Sonic as he grunts. Sonic then leans his head back as he screams in pain, (I felt that. 😣) dark streams of darkness exit out of his chest and go to Dark Gaia. (Y/N) and Chip watch in horror at seeing him in pain then look to find three, silted green eyes open on Dark Gaia's head. "Oh, I'm gonna be sick." (Y/N) groans. "Sonic, you've got to get up! Sonic!" Chip exclaims. Sonic is now back to normal permanently, but he is exhausted from the extraction of Dark Gaia's power from him.

"Sonic?" (Y/N) lays a hand on his back. "(Y/N)... Take Chip... And r-run." Sonic breathes out. "Are you crazy?!? I'm not leaving! I'm NEVER leaving you!" (Y/N) shouts in anger, refusing to leave behind her closest friend. (NEVER! 😡) Chip glares at Dark Gaia and the dark god roars as they send  their tendrils at them again. (Y/N) holds Sonic close to her as he passes out in exhaustion, bracing for the hit. But Chip summons a glowing green orb to protect them. The tendrils evaporate from the contact. "Seven... lights... of the Earth... Rekindled!" Chip declares.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Ooooookay.... This is new. I hold Sonic close as we are in an orb of Chip's power. "Awaken, and gather here to me!" I look over and see the orb Chip is in as... as the temples form around him. I watch in amazement as they combine to get her and once they finished, it resembles a giant and the chest of it glows with its eyes doing to. "Whoa." I breathe out. (Whoa, indeed. 😲)

The orb Sonic and I are in then moves and are placed on Chip's Temple Form. "Uuuugh..." I look at Sonic as he wakes up. I help him stand and he looks around. "Sonic. (Y/N)." I hear Chip say. We then look at Dark Gaia to see them staring us down. This is it. I stand strong and clench my hands into fists. "Together?" I hear Sonic ask. "Together." I agree. "Together." Chip says. Let's do this.

Third Person P.O.V.

Dark Gaia roars as the battle begins. Chip in his Gaia Colossus form flies at the dark god. Dark Gaia scoops up lava and throws them in ball forms at Chip. The light god is able to avoid them as he charges on. More lava balls are thrown but keep passing by Chip as he expertly flies. Dark Gaia then gathers their power at their mouth and fires a beam at Chip, but the light god holds up his arms and blocks it in time. He takes some damage so he moves out of the beam then continues at Dark Gaia.

Chip soon meets with Dark Gaia then reels back a fist, it being covered in glowing green energy and punches Dark Gaia. He does so again and again until the dark god gets frustrated and holds Chip in place with their massive hands. Chip keeps back their head, "Sonic. (Y/N). Now." Chip tells his friends. "Roger that, buddy!" Sonic says. "I'll get the next one." (Y/N) smiles at him. Sonic smiles at her then runs off as he makes his way across Chip's Colossal Form.

"Sonic! Hit Dark Gaia's weak spot, quick, while I hold him back!" Chip tells Sonic. The blue hedgehog makes his way to one of Dark Gaia's green eyes all the while avoiding dark purple tendrils. He runs off a ramp and soars then spin dashes and hits Dark Gaia's right green eyes all the multiple times. The dark god releases Chip, sending him far back and holds its hands up to its injured eye. Sonic lands beside (Y/N) and the two share a fist bump then focus on Dark Gaia once more.

Chip flies at the dark god again as he avoids more lava balls. He blocks another beam and smokes a little but shakes it off and continues. He meets up with Dark Gaia again and punches the dark god before it could fire another beam. Dark Gaia had enough and grabs him once more to keep him still. "My turn." (Y/N) states. (Yes, Ma'am. 😈) Sonic watches her run off and smiles as he has faith in her.

The (H/C) hedgehog parkours across Chip as she avoids tendrils and even uses one to laughs herself with her staff at Dark Gaia's left green eye. She narrows her eyes and uses her staff to hit the eye multiple times then finishes off with a stab into it. Dark Gaia cries out once more in pain as he pushes Chip away and covers their left eye. (Y/N) screams as she falls but Sonic catches her and gives her smirk, "Bullseye." He quips. (Y/N) rolls her eyes, "Must you always throw in a quip?" She asks him rhetorically. He only smirks at her then sets her on her feet.

Chip flies at Dark Gaia and shatters some lava balls with a punch. He avoids others and manages to avoid a beam, but got skimmed on the arm. Dark Gaia kept throwing more and more attacks but Chip met with them for a third time. Dark Gaia charges a beam but Chip punches them, landing blow after blow as he does not take a chance in letting Dark Gaia gain enough time. The dark god roars in rage as they grab Chip and attempt to crush him.

"Sonic, (Y/N)... Hurry!" Chip exclaims. Sonic lends out his hand and (Y/N) takes it as he picks her up and races off. The two work in perfect sink as they avoid tendrils and run across paths and ramps. The two slide under a tendril then (Y/N) takes out her blades and slices another, allowing the two to continues Sonic takes her in his arms as runs off a ramp and jump off columns. (Y/N) notices orbs of darkness suddenly appear then moves Sonic in time to avoid them. Sonic boosts as he runs off a ramp and the two separate as they aim for Dark Gaia's middle green eye. "Time to close the third eye!" (Y/N) shouts. "And this chapter, too." Sonic adds. Together, the two bounce off the eye all the while doing damage: Sonic with his spin dash and (Y/N) with her kicks. They jump into the air, smile and grab their hands as they move to be beside each other and fall at the eye, "Let's go!" Sonic exclaims, both landing a devastating kick to the eye. (BOOM!)

The land on Chip right as Dark Gaia let him go to nurse their eye. They look up then slouch forward as they fall still. Sonic and (Y/N) look down at Dark Gaia. "Is that it?" (Y/N) asks quietly. But Dark Gaia rises and roars, causing the two to become defensive. (Apparently not.) However, the dark god breathes out dark energy from its mouth and it spreads over in waves. Sonic and (Y/N) drop their stances and look in confusion.
