Third Person's POV

"Queen Aleena here with King Markus. Becoming the legitimate king of Mobius is Dr. Robotnik's deepest, most dangerous dream" Aleena narrated "Which is soon to become Sonic Underground's nightmare..." Markus narrated.

"Wow! Two doggies with the works, bud!" Brody ordered chili dogs for him and Sonic as the chili dog stand starts making it when Sonia and Manic arrived on the van "Chili-dogs? Now? Sonic, Brody, we're on an important mission!" Sonia said "Important mission? You mean after your hair appointment?" Manic asks "I mean my hair appointment! Appereance is important to most people!" Sonia said "We know what you mean" Sonic said with his mouth full "Yeah, we always look good!" Brody said with his mouth full while Manic whistles stealing from the stand.

"Ugh! Gross! Oh well, I guess that's to be expected from the lower classes..." Sonia said "Sonic and I rather be low-class than no-class! Looks like we got a bad case of sticky fingers!" Brody said referring to Manic  "Hey man, hey! Where I come from, you never know when you might need something!" Manic said "Put 'em back!" Sonic said and Manic did so "And for the record sis, Brody has to brush his fur every morning" Sonic said when the ground shakes and they see Robotnik on a monitor pass by.

"Hear ye, citizens of Robotropolis. Be informed that tomorrow I, the great Robotnik, will be married to Queen Aleena herself! And because I am a kind, generous and caring tyrant, I will even allow music to be played at this joyous event!" The monitor said "Did he say married?!" Sonic and Brody asked "Did he say to the Queen?!" Sonia asked "Dude, did he say 'trap' or was it just too obvious to mention?" Manic asks "Manic, you're right. There's no way Mother would marry someone she doesn't love with all her heart! And who could love..." Sonia said "A domineering old butt-head like Doc Botnik" Brody said "Unless she were forced!!" The four said realizing "But you know guys, if there's a chance that your mom's there..." Brody said "We have to be there too! And I think I know just the person who can get us in!" Sonia said "You don't mean..." The boys said "Bartleby!" Sonia said.

*Meanwhile at Robotnik's base*

"Excellent! A fine day for snaring a wolf and hedgehogs. But the cost of this bogus wedding is bankrupting me!" Robotnik said "Yes, but it must look real, or the wolf and hedgehogs will smell the trap!" Sleet said "Suggestions?" Robotnik asks "Er.... cut off their noses?" Dingo asks and Sleet hits him in response "Why not raise more tribute from one of your pathetically loyal nobles?" Sleet asks "Bartleby?" Robotnik asks "Precisely!" Sleet said.

*Later with the heroes*

Sonia convinced Bartleby to supply the music and the four heroes arrive at the Royal home and they take in the view "Wow..." Manic said "Wow....so thus is the Royal home sweet home!" Sonic said "If Robotnik hadn't stolen it from mother, that is!" Sonia said as the four walk inside seeing instruments "Yuck!" Manic said "Ehat are we supposed to do with..." Brody said "That will be all thank you!" Sonia said as they dump the instruments down a garbage can and they summon their instruments and play a song.

*One Song later*

Sonic and Brody explored the North wing but couldn't find Aleena, unaware to them Robotnik caught footage of them. The four heroes were performing again when a robot arrives with a message "According to this boys, no more rock & roll!" Sonia said "Well excuuuse us! Hey, is it hot in here or what? Man, this jacket's hot!" Brody said taking off his jacket from the disguise and throws it over a hidden camera while Sonic takes out a recorder "Okay. 1, 2, 1-2-3..." Sonic said hitting the play button on the recorder and the four get close "We gotta find Mom or find out what Robotnik's really up to! Any ideas?" Sonic asks "Dig this!" Manic said opening a secret passageway "Alright! Secret passageway, anyone?" He asks "Way to go bro!" Sonic said "So, let's do it!" Manic said "Not so fast, Manic. It's a good idea, but it lacks style!" Sonia said "Style?" Brody asks and Sonia twirls changing into a dress "Style!" Sonia said "Not bad, dudette, but now that you're all dressed up, where you gonna go?" Manic asks "While you explore the secret passageway, Sonic and Brody can check outside while I bluff my way into the bridal chamber!" Sonia said "Ho-ho sis, you got style by the mile! Meet you back here when we're all a little older and wiser!" Sonic said as they all go their ways.

Brody and Sonic got in trouble when Sleet disguised as a chili dog vendor morphed Dingo into a Giant Venus flytrap but they manage to escape using their chili dogs and they run off.

Meanwhile Manic traverse the secret passageway soon finding the bridal chamber as Sonia did "Mother?" Sonia asks seeing Sleet with the 'bride' and Manic got in the room "Whoa, that looks like the bridal chamber" Brody said as he and Sonic were outside "And that looks like an actual.... bride?" Sonic asks as the two run up the wall getting inside "Ma, you're not really gonna marry that ugly dude Robotnik are you?" Sonia asked "Actually, my darling childrwn I can't! Because I'm married to my job!" Dingo said taking off the disguise "Oh, thank goodness, it's only a trap" Sonia said "A TRAP?!" The heroes asks "Swatbots! Seize them!" Sleet said as swatbots appear and the doors get locked "Sleet! How dare you allow that Dingo thing to impersonate the Queen?" Sonia asks "That's nothing, check out what he's impersonating now!" Sleet said and morphs Dingo into a snake and captures Sonia "AAH! Let me go you  no-good..." Sonia said as they take her away "Sonia!" Brody and Sonic saod while dodging Swatbots lasers and they help Manic "So where's the secret passageway?" Brody asks "Behind those bots. The light activates it "No problemo! Special delivery for swatbutts!" Sonic said as they take Manic and go through the secret passageway.

"No, no, no! I refuse to be named crowned princess, successor to the throne!" Sonia said "But sweetikins, don't you see? By her continued  absence your mother has given up her right to rule! You have to take her place!" Bartleby said "My mother's absence is because of HIS presence!" Sonia said referring to Robotnik "If it's my fault you are missing a mother, I will remedy that lack, by adopting you our new crowned princess, as my daughter. In fact, you may call me dad" Robotnik said "AAAAA!" Sonia screamed.

*Later at the ceremomy hall*

"Ahem, honored guests! We have a slight change in schedule. Instead of a wedding, you shall wktness the adoption of crowned princess Sonia by our beloved leader Doctor (and soon to be king) Robotnik!" Sleet said and the crowd gasps "Unless of course, Queen Aleena or King Markus fulfils the ancient law, and proves they have not abandoned the throne!"  Bartleby said "There's too many swatbots to rush the stage. We need a diversion...." Brody said "Got it!" Manic said "Got what?" Sonic asks "You'll know when you see it! Gotta jam!" Manic said leaving the two and goes to a closet room to get dressed as the queen unaware of a hidden camera.

"Sonic, Brody, Manic where are you?" Sonia asked as Manic got thrown in a cell by swatbots "Hey, hey, watch the dress guys, it wrinkles!" Manic said. "And woth the continued abscense of Queen Aleena and King Markus, it is decreed that Princess Sonia shall rule in her stead" Sleet said as Sonic and Brody mix in the crowd covering themselves with a big cloak "We're running out of time here Manic" Sonic said as Manic pick locks the door escaping his cell "With this crown, Princess Sonia..." Bartleby said when suddenly.

"Halt! We forbid this ceremony!" Markus said from a balcony "About time guys!" Sonia said thinking it was one of the guys disguised but she along with Sonic and Brody gasped what happened next "Indeed" Aleena said standing next to Markus holding the royal scepter "Whoa I thought that was Manic but it's actually..." Sonic said "Mom!" "Dad!" They said respectively "The royal sceptre! It's the queen and king!" Bartleby said fainting "My hero" Sonia said rolling her eyes "No! It can't be!" Robotnik said "You are a blight upon our land, Robotnik! I Queen Aleena, with King Markus shall never abandon Mobius" Aleena said "Or their children, as long as we may live!" Markus said "Long live the Queen and King! Long live the Queen and King!" The crowd cheer "Swatbots! Seize them!" Robotnik said as Aleena and Markus take off as the swatbots climb there "Blast that door open!" Sleet said as Sonic and Brody run up to Robotnik.

"Hedgehog and Wolf you two are defeated! Admit it!" Robotnik said "Only if you catch us!" Sonic and Brody said rolling Robotnik up in the carpet "One Borito El Grosso coming right up!" Sonic said as they push Robotnik down and run to Sonia "I just love these family get-togethers! Don't you guys?" Sonic asks "Yoi guys are the best! But where's Manic?" Sonia asks "We thought he was gonna play as the Queen to distract everyone" Brody said "I still can't believe they were actually here" Sonia said as swatbots shoot lasers everywhere "Er...maybe we should go!" Sonia said as Sonic and Brody take her away and met up with Manic outside.

"There they are!" Dingo said pointing at a robit horse with dummies of Aleena and Markus as the real ones get the horse to walk off as they leave "It is over, your majestys. You're coming with us!" Sleet said taking the horse to Robotnik "Well, well, well. Your children may have escaped, Queen Aleena and King Markus, but at least I have you two!" Robotnik said pulling the hoods down revealing the dummies "Sleet, you idiot!" Robotnik said "No, sire I am the caniving one, Dingo is the idiot!" Sleet said.

*Meanwhile with the heroes*

"Hey guys! Was that really them?!" Manic asks "Yeah it was!" Sonia said "can't believe it" Sonic said happy and the four got ready to leave.

"The nightmare has been averted, but a long darkness still remains before our freedom's dawn" Queen Aleena and King Markus said as they walk away.
