Third Person's POV

Sonic and Brody were running away with Manic following behind on his hoverboard and Sonia on her motorcycle as they run away from Sleet and Dingo.

"Freedom is a precious thing. We should know. We are Queen Aleena and King Markus and we are always on the run." Aleena narrated "But with all the running, sometimes you lose sight of your goal, forget the game that freedom really is" Markus narrated.

A tree collapsed onto Sonia's path "Think some old logs gonna ruin my spines?" Sonia asks laughing as she rides up the log with her bike like a ramp. She then splashes mud onto her face and clothes making her gasp "My brand-new Guccini! Now you're really gonna see road rage" Sonia said as Dingo comes shooting missiles at Sonia making her bike go flying and she gets stuck on a tree "Oh man! Now Im really steamed!" Sonia said and Dingo laughd and he targets Sonia who summons her piano from her medallion "Call 911 lice-heads...it's your only hope" Sonia said blasting at Sleet and Dingo as a thick fog blocks their view "Road went left, right?" Sleet asks "Right" Dingo said "Right? You sure?" Sleet asks "Left, right!" Dingo said "Oh! Left then right" Sleet said "No! Left! Left!" Dingo said as the two scream crashing into a rocky hill and fall near a river.

Sonic, Brody and Manic stop on a rocky hill watching Sleet and Dingo fall "Alright! Sonia aced them good!" Manic said "Sure did!" Sonic said "So where is she anyway? Sonia?" Brody asks "Back here!" Sonia said and the boys turn to Sonia seeing hanging off a branch by the cloth of her clothes "Would you hurry please?" Sonia asks "Hurry? That's for slow-mo's" Sonic said and Sonia groans "It's just one tear. Maybe I can get it" Sonia said as the cloth rips causing Sonia to fall as she screams and Brody runs over catching her "Thanks Brody" Sonia said as Brody sets her down nodding as she stands her clothes now raggy "My Guccini! This is tragic" Sonia said as Manic rides in on his hoverboard  and Sonic runs to them "Ha ha, totally smooth remove of the mange mutts, sis" Manic said "Yeah! Couldn't have done better myself!" Sonic said "So, where's your bike?" Brody asked as they see her bike down "Whoa! Major road-ware. Maybe even worse than you!" Manic said "Can it, Manic. Brody just get it rolling, okay?" Sonia asks and Brody runs over to the bike.

Brody was fixing it while Manic helped him "Actually, it's not too funky. Just a couple of tweaks and Brody should be..." Manic said as Brody shakes the bike  and suddenly black fuel splashes onto Sonia's face "Sorry Sonia" Brody said "That's it! That's it! I've had it. I need a facial. I need a pedicure. And most of all, I need massage" Sonia said as Sonic helps her get on the bike "Uh like, didn't you just have a brake fluid facial?" Manic asks and he Sonic and Brody laugh together "I've had it with the mud, the grit and the oil. But most fo all....I've had it with you three!" Sonia said "Uh, chill Sonia. Don't be such an S.A.P!" Manic said "Meaning?" Sonia asks and the boys laugh "But I am a princess. And it's about time I got treated like one! I'm going to east Mobius for a break and if you have anything to say to me! Go there!" Sonia said riding off "East Mobius?" Sonic asks "That sounds familiar....wait a nanosec! I got this weird message about dad and your mom being in east Mobius! Sonia...." Brody said "Our parents? Awesome! So what's the roadblock from keeping us from going to find them?" Manic asks "Absolutely nothing Manic man!" Sonic said "While Sonia's off doing her princess thing we'll find our parents. See ya' there!" Brody said as the two run off and Manic follows them on his hoverboard.

*Later at a palace*

Sonia walked up to the door and knock on the door and a girl walked out "Sonia?" The girl asks "Mindy!" Sonia said "Girl friend!" The two said hugging  giving each other a kiss on the cheek "Did anyone see you?" Mindy asks as they walk inside "No. Why?" Sonia asks "You're a fugitive Sonia. As glad as we are to see you, you must understand, we have to be careful" Mindy's dad named LaTour "Do you mean Robotnik? That eggcup..." Sonia said and Mindy looks at Sonia "Relax Girl friend. I'll just drop by some M and M, then I'll be on my way!" Sonia said "M and M?" LaTour asked "Massage and manicure!" Sonia and Mindy said "Oh daddy. Please, please, please, can she stay?" Mindy asks "Just stay out of trouble, ok?" LaTour said and Sonia and Mindy giggle "YES!!!" The two said as they walk off.

"But Sonia...Scraves were sold ten minutes ago" Mindy said as Sonia was wearing a red scarf "It reminds me of my mother" Sonia said "I'm sorry, I know you must miss her" Mindy said and Sonia tears up a bit "I'll find her.... someday" Sonia said "It still needs something" she said and saw the watch Mindy had on her wrist "Whre did you get this? This is so it!" Sonia said "really? I designed it myself" Mindy said "Daddy's factory makes them" she said "But no offense, your dad doesn't do anything he doesn't need to" Sonia said "No he does, Robotnik takes so much taxes, daddy had no choice but to produce them in mass. Here it's yours" Mindy said taking it off and hands it to Sonia who puts it on "It's the coolest, thanks!" Sonia said.

Later on Sonia woke up from a nightmare when he heard a noise and she checked it out seeing her watch opening her suitcase and taking photos of her book "Back off buddy, even Brody and my brothers don't get to look at my book" Sonia said and the clock turns back to normal "Well, well, well very creative design Mindy" she said and then went to dismantle it "It's sime kind of surveillance device, it was sending info to Robotnik's intelligence agency" Sonia said on a walkie talkie while Sonic and Brody were investigating outside "So sis, doing a little moon lighting inbetween mall strolls" Sonic said "Can it with the conedy Sonic, this is serious. What's your take on it Brody?" Sonia asks "I would have to look at it myself but my guess is, the watch awaits for its owner to take it off and be either away or asleep and then it starts searching information of value for Robotnik" Brody said "it is broken right?" He asks and Sonia gives it another hit "I don't know how much did it send to them but they know for sure I'm here you guys gotta hurry" Sonia said "Don't worry sis, already here. Meet us outside the factory" Sonic said "Okay....guys about what I said about being done with you guys..." Sonia said "It's okay Sonia, you didn't mean it we know" Brody said "yeah, we know you were-" Sonic said "Not now Sonic, we ought to hurry" Brody said and the three hung up.

Manic soon got back having stolen a hammer when the clock spy spiders started to swarm in and the three started to smash them when swatbots surrounded them and captured them in an electric net when Sonia arrived hidding in a bush then climbed up the tree and free the boys droppin them on top of the agent robot and helps them out "Okay now that that's taken care of let's check this factory" Brody said as the four get inside "But why did you guys come here?" Sonia asks "Cause mom and Brody's dad were here" Manic said "Really? Did you find them?" Sonia asks "Nope, just a bunch of swatbots guarding this place" Sonic said as they go inside and gasp seeing the watches.

Brody walks over to it and turns it on "I see, it's like I assumed, Robotnik sells this for cheap and then the rich and the people get spied on" Brody said "Hey Brody, can you do something to them?" Sonic asks "I'll need a few minutes but I'm sure I can..." Brody said and the four gasps seeing Mindy and her dad walk in "Sonia? The alarm went off in the house. We thought someone was breaking in the factory" Mindy said "Someone is! I told you she'd be trouble and these three must be her criminal brothers and friend" Mindy's dad said "After what we've seen Mr LaTour. We should be calling you the same thing" Brody said "Daddy? What is going?" Mindy asks "Mindy, your father's watches do a whole lot more than tell time" Sonia said as Brody presses the switch on the watch making it turn into a spider like robot and Mindy gasps "Don't listen to her honey! Come on let's go" Mindys dad said grabbing Mindy's hand and walking off "No daddy wait. What is that?" Mindy asks pulling her hand back and walks over to Brody "They're spies for Robotnik's intelligence agency" Sonia said "daddy? Is it true?" Mindy asks "You knew didn't you? But how could you?" She asks "Believe it or not Mindy, I did it for you" Mindy's dad said "Yeah, right" Mindy said "Hear him out" Sonia said putting her hand on her shoulder "When you have children of your own you'll understand. I wanted to keep you safe and happy if I said no to Robotnik, he'd take everything away and I coulnd't let him do that to my little girl" Mindy's dad said "But daddy this things are spying on people. What about Mobius?" Mindy asks grabbing the watch and the four heroes summon their instruments and play a song.

*After the song*

"Believe me Mindy, I'd like to knock down that pompus dictator" Mindy's dad said "Oh daddy, I don't need shopping and  facials and manicure" Mindy said "You don't?" Sonic, Bridy, Sonia and Manic asked suprised "No! I know I definetly can cut that" Mindy said and hugs her dad "I wanna be a freedom fighter! Like Sonia, I want a life on the run, enemies around every corner" Mindy said suprising Sonia "First we gotta get you out of here" Sonic said "We sure do! Sleet and Dingo are gonna come by looking for the watches" Mindy's dad said "no problemo! You go pack Brody will work on the watches and Sonia, Manic and I will get them ready for those two" Sonic said "Come on amindy! We haven't got much time, pack only the bear essentials" Mindys dad said as they start to walk out "Oh lucky us, another rich girl joins the resistance" Manic said "Hey, maybe she'll give a fashionable disaster some style" Sonia said "Don't worry Brody and I have enough style for the three of us" Sonic said "Now let's jam! We are counting on you tech expert" Sonic said "No problemo, I'll have this watches done in a second" Brody said.

*Later*

Sleet and Dingo arrived to the house and Dingo knocks on the door"Open up LaTour, we want our watches!" Sleet said as inside Mindy was packing her belongins "Mindy we have to go!" Mindy's dad said  and the two run off "I had it with this nonsense knock it down!" Sleet said and Dingo knocks the door down and they look around.

Meanwhile Brody was running around the watches reprogramming them and tossing them to the trio who put them in a pile "Brody, we don't got much time" Sonic said "I'm going as fast as I can, ir's hard to do this right while doing it fast" Brody said as he continued "Yo, shouldn't Mind and her dad be here by now?" Manic asks "Probably doing a farewell session" Sonia said "Better tell her we are waitiiiing!" Sonic said.

Back at the house Mindy and her dad got out and were running carrying a lot of luggage each and Sleet and Dingo see them from the window and rush outside "Freeze!" Sleet said causing Mindy and her dad to trip and drop their luggage as Sleet morphs Dingo into a carpet and rolls it at them the two left the luggage and tried to run off but Dingo caught them.

"Brody! We need you to finish quick!" Sonia said as they see Mindy and her dad from afar, "I still a few short. You guys go save them, I'll meet you there" Brody said and the three nod and run off catching up to them and Sonic grabs one of the luggages "Sorry sis, but I can never pass going bowlingfor boneheads!" Sonic said throwing it at Dingo who crashes on Sleet allowing Mindy and her dad to get away from them when a ship the agent of intelligence N pilots captures the heroes except for Sonic who run off in time.

"Not this again!" Sonia said as the neat breaks and Sonia, Manic, Mindy and her dad land on the center of the ship and get surrounded by swatbots "Yes this again and this time my plan is hedgehog proofed, this ship is also a portable robotizator" the robot said as they were grabbed by the swatbots and one puts Sonia in the robotizator when Sonic entered the ship "I'm baaaack!" Sonic said and runs up to Agent N "Not bad agent N" Sonic said "It is better than not bad hedgehog" Agent N said "Sonic! I'm waiting!" Sonia said "Not to worry! It's time for plan B" Sonic said "Plan B? What is that?" Agent N asks "B for Brody!" Sonic said as the watches swarmed in the ship with Brody walking in holding a controller "Hey Agent N! Missed me?" Brody asks as he controls the watches to swarm Agent N "I repgrommaed your sneaky spyes in my spare time, to dismantle any robot I guide them to!" Brody said "Impossible! My plan was supposed to be hedgehog proofed!" Agent N said as the watches dismantle its head turning it off and then do the same for the swatbots freeing Manic, Mindy and her dad "But you forgot to make it wolf proofed!" Brody said as he makes the watches dismantle the portable robotizator breaking Sonia free "You were almost late Brody!" Sonia said "I'm fashionably late" Brody said "You sure are" Sonic said "Don't encourage him but thanks for the save" Sonia said "No problemo" Brody said and they all get off the ship.

"We can get the wolf and hedgehogs while their guard is down!" Sleet said "B-But what about those scary spider thingies?" Dingo asks as Brody runs to them throwing one on Dingo causing him to yell and run away scared "Dingo! You can't seriously be scared of some little inoffensive mechanical spider?" Sleet asks "Oh yeah? What about the other 175 of them?" Brody asks sending the watches at Sleet and he runs off screaming.

"Take one good look Mindy, it may be the last time we'll see it" Mindy's dad said as they look at their house "It's hard to leave home" Sonia said understandingly and Mindy nods "Hey, but you still get to hang with your dad" Manic said "That's right. That's all that matters" Mindy said hugging her dad "It sure is, home is where your family is" Sonia said wrapping her arms around Sonic and Manic "Even if they are a pair of fashion child spine heads" Sonia saif and winks at the readers as this chapter comes to an end.
