Third Person's POV

"With all the technology employed by Robotnik" Aleena narrated "It was easy for our children to forget about the powers of magic" Markus narrated.

"What's taking those guys so long?" Sonia asks "Maybe Sonic and Brody found a chili dog stand" Cyrus said "No. Sonic and Brody know better than that. Besides Manic wouldn't let them stop while they are on a mission" Sonia said.

*Meanwhile with the boys*

"Sonic, Brody, don't you two think we should get a moving?" Manic asked as they where at Hot Hot Jake's "No biggie. Brody and I can cut the power in a sonic second" Sonic said "As soon as we've finished our two dogs, we are outta here!" Brody said as the duo eat their last two chili dogs and then they dash off "Yo, Sonic, Brody, wait for me dudes!" Manic said and Sonic and Brody run back to him "How do ya' like that? We are faster than light!" Sonic and Brody said "Give me a break! Then again...." Manic said as the lights in Robotropolis went out.

"Good old Sonic and Brody" Cyrus said "About time" Sonia said as the two run towards a black building. Shortly after, two swatbots arrive appear "control three reports outage in sector one, one, seven, nine" a swatbot said and the two left and Sonia climbs up "Huery, twenty seconds before backup power kicks in" Cyrus said "I'm on it!" Sonia said and puts a bomb on the tower activating it "Five seconds. Hurry, get out of there, you'll get fried!" Cyrus said and they get away with Sonic and Brody's help.

*Next day at Robotnik's base*

"Sleet, Dingo, get in here!" Robotnik said and Sleet and Dingo walk in "Pay attention!" Robotnik said "Yes sir!" Sleet said "The pollution fron Robotropolis has spread and cut through the cloud banks around Mobius... Exposing a new land, the Emerald Peninsula. Patrols have revealed thousands of new candidates for the Roboticizer. Take my command ship and a transport amd bring them back filled with recruits!" Robotnik said "But the peninsula has thousands of places to hide. How do we find them?" Sleet asks "You lure them out with one of these... a Bogen" Robotnik said showing an image of an anthropomorphic animal is projected on a screen "What is it?" Sleet asks "It's a mythical creature, but the people there believe in them. They think that if they catch one, it will bring them wealth" Robotnik said "So while they are chasing the bogen, we scoop them up. That is brilliant sir!" Sleet said "Yeah but, where do we get one of those, uh... things?" Dingo asks and Sleet morphs him into a bogen "I had to ask" Dingo said.

*Meanwhile with the heroes*

"C'mon Sonic and Brody. We're ready to rock! We got to practice for our Liberty Day performance" Sonia said and Sonic and Brody sprint over summoning their instruments and the four start playing a song.

*After a song*

When they finished Cyrus arrived "Hey! Just practicing for the liberty day crowd" Brody said "If you're back in time" Cyrus said "Uh oh, sounds like an assignment to me" Manic said.

"That bug we planted is paying off already. We intercepted part of a message. Robotnik is sending Sleet and Dingo to the Emerald Peninsula!" Cyrus said while Sonic and Brody chew on their chili dogs "I thought he didn't know about it" Brody said "He does now. If yo guys don't spread the word, everybody there is gonna end up back here. Roboticized..." Cyrus said as Sonic and Brody finished eating "Not gonna happen" Sonic said "Let's roll!" Sonia said.

*At the van*

"So they had these things called 'Bogens' " Sonia said "Bogen? What's that?" Manic asks "It's a mythical creature that guards a treasure chest of money and jewels!" Sonia said "You mean like a banker?" Sonic asks "Ha... According to legendn if you catch one you get the treasure chest" Brody said "No, definitely not a banker" Sonic said as the van starts to make electric sparks "I thought  you checked the engine!" Brody said "I did! It looked fine to me" Manic said as black smoke comes from the engine "Hm! It looked fine?" Sonic asks "Yeah! The compression ratio was twelve to one. I advanced the timing, cleaned and recapped the plugs! And I torqued down the valve cover- exactly 16.8 pressure pounds. It loooooked fine!!" Manic said "Just asking" Sonic said chuckling as they stop the van and get out.

A neon red balls moves in the distance verty swiftly and crashes into the four knocking them down "What was that?" Manic asks "I don't know but it sure was ugly" Sonic said when they hear someone laugh in the distance "Well somebody thinks it's funny" Brody said "Hey guys!" Manic said holding out a pouch leaking some red muck. Sonic and Brody whistle in the background "What's that?" Sonia asks walking to Manic "Found it in the intake manifold" Manic said holding his nose and Sonia reaches inside the small bag and takes out two chili dogs "Chili dogs?" Sonia asks and sighs. Sonic and Brody snatch the chili dogs from Sonia "Don't mind if we do!" Brody and Sonic said eating the chili dogs "Hey it worked Brody! It's still warm!" Sonic said "Sonic Hedgehog and Brody Wolf!" Sonia said angry.

*Later*

"Chili dogs in the intake manifold..." Manic said as the four walk "We were just trying to keep em' warm" Brody said "Hey look! There's a light!" Sonia said pointing at a small building "Oh, it looks so warm" she said when the red sphere came back and Sonic and Brody said they'll catch it but they get pushed back in the process "Oh yeah nice catch" Sonia said "Are you alright? I heard the Bog Beasty and I knew someone must be about" an old lady named Maeve said as the four shiver "Oh would you listen to me blundering along and you are cold and wet!" Maeve said and she takes them inside.

"And what is it that brings you to our part of the world if I may be asking" Maeve said "We're here to warn you" Sonia said.

*Meanwhile*

"Catch me if you can!" Dingo said disguised as a bogen as a giant frog and insect chase after him. Then a light appears around the frog and insect as they get pulled into a spaceship "Nice job. Now let's try anoter spot" Sleet said and Dingo walked to the building with yellow lights "Um... what's that?" Dingo asks.

At the same time, Sonic and Brody are staring out the window "What you say that thing was?" Sonic asks "We call them Bog Beastys. They mean you no harm, they just like knocking into people" Maeve said reffering to the red orb "Now tell me child why would this tyrant want to robity..." Maeve  said "Roboticize. Because it would make you his slave - forever!" Sonia said.

*Meanwhile*

Sleet and Dingo are communicating to Robotnik "Sir. We've already rounded up twenty-three recruits and the night is only half done" Sleet said "Excellent! Carry on" Robotnik saod hanging up.

"Let's get some more. Where's that thing coming from?" Sleet asks "Behind you" Dingo said as the red ball blastcin from behind Sleet knocking him and Dingo over "That thong goves me the creeps" Dingo said "What is that thing?" Sleet asks.

*Back with the heroes*

"I see you in battle but... there's something else..." Maeve said doing fortune telling to Sonia "What is it?" Sonia asks "A good thing child. In your battle tomorrow, you will find an object of great value. It may give you great power against your enemy and it will help you in your quest to find your mother and the wolf's father" Maeve said "My mother?! My... quest?" Sonia asks.

*Next day outside*

Sonia is about to test out the van Manic just repaired "Give it a try!" Manic said and the engine starts successfully "Oh yeah! We're back in biz!" Manic said "Cool!" Sonic and Brody said and they all get in the van and Sonia starts driving.

Sonia yawns and Sonic looks at her "So what kept you up all nigjt?" Sonic asks "I told you, Maeve said I'd find something to help us find Robotnik. Something that would give me great power over him" Sonia said "Oh, I don't believe in all that fortune-telling mumbo-jumbo" Sonic said "Do you believe in luck?" Manic asks pointing at an astounding entrance.

An airship ia floating in the sky "Well, well, well. Looks like we found Slick and Dingbat" Brody said "Look" Sonia said as they see Sleet and Dingo and see more Mobians being sucked into the airship "Nice work Dingo" Sleet said "I'm tired. I've been running around allnight" Dingo said "Alright. We can take a break now" Sleet said and the two walk off.

"She's gotta come down! Think you can get me up there bro?" Sonic asks and they all gasp when swatbots find them and they run up a hill "I'll cover you from up here" Sonia said "We'll play decoy" Brody and Sonic said and they split up and Sonia sees something in a cave and goes inside. Sonic and Brody took out a swatbot and Manic went up to them when Sleet and Dingo found them capturing them.

Sonia saw a necklace and walks to it and it projects Robotnik through it "Excellent but where is the girl?" Robotnik asks "Don't worry sir, we'll find her. But you must admit three out of four isn't bad" Sleet said and the projection "Oh gosh!" Sonia said and grabs the necklace and runs down the rocky hill and finds Manic's hoverboard and uses it to reach the airship and rescue the boys. "Hi guys. Did you miss me?" Sonia asks "What happened to you? You just disappeared. Who do you think you are? Sonic or Me?" Brody asks "Uh... can't we talk about this later" Manic said.

*Later*

The four took over the airship and Manic was flying it "I disabled all the locator beacons and powered down those holding thingies" Sonic said "You mean the suspended animation units" Brody said "Yeah those" Sonic said as Manic lands the airship and the four get out "How long before those people wake up?" Manic asks "About an hour, but don't worry. Without the locator, Sleet and Dingo won't stand a chance of tracking them down" Sonia said "Wonder what butt-nik's thinking right now" Sonic said "Funny you should ask" Sonia said showing the pendant and presses it showing a projection of Robotnik "You lost the wolf and the hedgehogs, you lost the captives and you lost my transport ship?!" Robotnik asks "We still have the command ships sir" Sleet said as the projection ended cause Sonia dropped the pendant.

"Hey, it was just getting good!" Sonic said when they see Sonia's arm transparent "Whoa, I can see right through your arm!" Manic said "What's going on?" Brody asks "The pendant. It made me feel tingly and now I can feel my arm at all" Sonia said and Manic picks up the pendant "So this is what the fortune-teller was talking about?" Manic asks and the three boys stare at Sonia angrily and she looks back guilty "Yeah and she's gonna be doing a lot more talking" Brody said as the four run off to the van. At the same time the command ship is flying around "There's just too much ground to cover. We could use a break here!" Sleet said "Maybe we could follow the wolf and the hedgehogs" Dingo said pointing at the van "Maybe our luck is changing" Sleet said sending a spy bot after them.

*At the fortune teller's house*

"Oo, I swe you used the pendant!" Maeve said "Why didn't you tell me?!?!" Sonia asks "Come on in! I'll tell you everything" Maeve said and the four walked in.

"And the other half of the pendant is somewhere near where you found this!" Maeve said "Take it! Change Sonia back!" Manic said "No! I cannot hold the pendant until the two halves are once again whole. I'm sorry I used you, but I needed your help to save my land and my people" Maeve said "How about saving MY sister!" Sonic said "There's only one way to do that. Sonia must use the pendant one more time to find the location of the other half" Maeve said and Sonia does so and one of her legs become transparent in the process "Oh no Sonia! We're out of here!" Brody said and he and Sonic take them to the location.

*At the temple*

"Oh Sonia" Manic said as more of Sonia's body was transparent "C'mon guys. Lets do it to it!" Sonic said and the boys dash away going down the stairs where they arrive to the room and run into Sleet, Dingo and two swatbots "Looking for something? Beautiful isn't it? Perhaps we could do a little trade. Where is my transport ship?" Sleet asks holding the other half of the pendant "It's seventy kilometers north. Now hand the pendant over!" Sonic said "Well you see, there's a problem with that... because I rarely keep my word" Sleet said and laughs "Don't mess woth us Sleet!" Brody said "Or we'll mess you up!" Sonic said "Take your best shot hedgehog and wolf!" Sleet said "You're messing with my sister and now you're gonna pay!" Sonic said as he and Brody dash around the swatbots destroying them and the duo blasts into Dingo knocking him down and Manic pushes Sleet into a wall while in his hoverboard and grabs the pendant flying back to Sonia.

Manic hands over the pendant to Sonia and she merges both halves making it whole and presses it turning back to normal as Sonic and Brody get to them "Alright!" Sonic and Brody said high fiving when Maeve appears and Sonia gives her the complete pendant which turns Maeve into a fairy "Thank you my friends. Now I am free to restore the clouds that protect our land and erase this place from the minds of those who seek to harm it" Maeve said causing a gust of pink wind sendibg Sleet and Dingo back to Robotropolis "Done! The two villains are already back in Robotropolis. I'm sorry I put you in such danger, but I had no choice" Maeve said handing the pendant to Sonia "The pendant may be used one more time without danger, use it as you will" Maeve said "Thank you. We'll save it until we need it!" Sonia said "It is I who must thank you. And now, I will send you on your way" Maeve said "Wait! Since we're heroes and all I'd like to ask one small favor..."  Sonic said.

*At Robotropolis*

Robotnik was walking down a hall when he gasped "What is that?" Robotnik asks as the bog beasty busts into Robotnik land son his bottom "NO!!!!!" Robotnik said as the bog beasty laughs as this chapter comes to an end.
