Third Person's POV

"Sometimes there are problems even among the Freedom Fighters" Aleena narrated "And Robotnik is always ready to exploit them" Markus narrated.

Sonic and Brody run up to Sonia while Manic follows them on his hoverboard "And in 3, 2, 1....!" Sonia said but nothing happens "Huh?" Sonia asks "Are you sure you activated those fuses?" Manic asks when an explosion happens startling Sonia "Ah!" Sonia said jumping on Brody's arms and Brody sets her down and looks at Manic "Hmmm, I can't remember. Do you want me and Sonic to go back and check?" Brody asks "Haha, yeah! You two do that" Manic said "Nice work guys!" Sonia said "Yeah!" Sonic, Brody and Manic said high-fiving when swatbots starts going after them "Swatbots! Let's jam!" Sonic said and the four run away.

*Later*

The four stopped when they reached an abandoned place "Are we good, or are we good?" Sonic asks "Oh, we're good!" Manic said and Brody nodded and the three high-five "Are your arms getting tired from all that congratulating?" Sonia asks "No" Sonic and Brody said "Nah, never tired, no, oh no..." Manic said and Sonia sees three pebbles "Wait, the pebbles! They've been moved" Sonia said "So somebody's been here" Manic said "Or still is...." Brody said summoning his guitar along Sonic and they open the door but only see a note on the floor "A note!" Sonia said anf Brody picks it up "From Queen Aleena and my dad!" Brody said and reads it "Robotnik's building a hydroelectric dam un souther Mobius, and he's getting away with it because of a feud between the Freedom Fighters in the mountains and the valley. If they don't join forces to stop hin, the whole area will be destroy!" Brody reads "Dad and Queen Aleena wants us to go make peace between them" he said.

*At Souther Mobius*

"I forget how beautiful it can be away from Robotropolis" Manic said as Brody drives the van "Not for long if Robuttnik..." Sonia said and yawns stretching "Gets his way" she said "Well, he won't" Sonic said "We'll see to that" Brody said as they get closer to the village "Heads up trouble!" Manic said as they are aimed by two mobians and the four get out "Chill out, the good guys have arrived" Sonic said "You just turn around and tell your boss we ain't letting no more of you polecats in here" the old man named Zeb said "Huh?" Brody asks "No really? We're-" Sonia said "Robotnik's goons, come to finish tye dam" Zeb said "Yo bud, you got it all wrong" Brody said "We're the Sonic Underground" Manic said "Huh?" Zeb asks "And they are Sonic and Brody" Manic said "Well if you two are the real Sonic and Brody, you'd almost be able to keep up with Jared here. He's the fastest boy in these here parts!" Zeb said "How about a little race?" Brody and Sonic asks "Race to that there pine nut tree and back. And grab a pinecone while you're there too. We'll see if' you two are the real Sonic and Brody!" Zeb said setting up the starting line "Don't mind Zeb. Good luck!" Jared said he, Sonic and Brody get in position "Go!" Zrb said and Jared runs off but Sonic and Brody stay in place and Brody sn8ffs a flower "Ah, kicking scent!" Brody said picking it up "I guess your friends are afraid to run against Jared, hmmm?" Zeb asks Sonia and Manic "I think that flower would look good on me" Sonic said "Any flower looks great on you" Brody said winking and Sonic giggles blushing "Uh, dudes. The race?" Manic asks "No biggie, bro!" Sonic said as he amd Brody take off as Jared was getting back to the starting line "What the heck?" Zeb asks and the duo come back before Jared holding pinecones "Piece of cake!" Brody and Sonic said high fiving each other "I ain't never seen nothing like that!" Zeb said as Jared pants "You two are the real McCoys, all right!" Zeb said to Sonic and Brody "Real pleased to meet ya two, Sonic and Brody!" Jared said and Sonia clears her throat "Huh?" Sonic, Brody and Jared ask "If the Sonic and Brody fan club can adjorn, we've got a dam to dump" Sonia said "Right, sis! Let's scan, then plan" Sonic said "I'll show y'all around. You don't want to run into any robot patrols or mountain folk" Jared said. A robot camera was watching them in hiding sending the feed to Sleet and Dingo.

"Ooh... What have we here? This is it! Our chance to get big money from Robotnil" Sleet said "Oh, I'll go get him" Dingo said "No! Not yet" Sleet said "But you just said-" Dingo said "Listen. First we nab the wolf and hedgehogs and hide them. Then we tell robotnik and make him pay a lot of money!" Sleet said "Retire?" Dingo asks "Yes, retire. You can spend the rest of your life, waiting on me hand and foot!" Sleet said "Oh, boy! Wow! Thanks!" Dingo said.

*Later*

"So you valley dudes used to be buds with the mountain dudes, eh?" Manic asks as they all walk to the dam "Yep" Jared said "And you said this feud started because of our mother and Brody's dad?" Sonia asks "Yep. Way it happened was when your parents visited here. They gave us these purty medallions so's we could always prove the land was ours. We was havin' a big time hoedown. Tge mountain folks lost their medallion!" Jared said "They said us valley folks took it, so we could steal their land, and they swore they wouldn't play another lick o' music 'til we give it back..." he said "....but we didn't take it!" He said.

"Shhh. Quiet now" Jared said and points at the dam "There it is!" He said "Let's see what that bot's made of" Brody said grabbing rocks and throws them at the robot which quickly zaps them "Whoa!" Sonic and Brody said "Dounle whoa!" Manic said "We're going to need a little help with this one. Can you take us to the mountain folks?" Sonia asks "I can take you most of the way. But, we ain't really welcome up there" Jared said.

*Later*

"Just follow the path" Jared said "Thanks bud!" Brody said as the four heroes walk off "Yo, these mountain dudes better wise up and see how bad it'll be when Buttnik's dam gets built!" Manic said when they run into a girl "You must be them Freedom Fighters come to help me Jare-um, the valley folks stop nthe dam" The girl named Serro said "Right on the first guess!" Sonic said "I'm Serro.  Nobody does nothing up here without talking to Granny first. I'll take you to her" Serro sakd "How'd she know who we were?" Sonia asks as they follow her.

"So if Buttnik takes the valley, your land is next!" Brody said "I don't care. Long as them valley folks is gone!" Granny said "But when they're gone, it'll be too late" Manic said "Granny, we used to work together with 'em. We can do it again!" Serro said "Don't see how. Them valley folks stole our medallion!" Granny said "You'll lose a lot more if you don't join forces with the valley folk" Sonia said "Whatcha mean?" Granny asks "If you don't help us destroy the dam, this whole area will be underwater, including your place!" Sonia said "That so? Well.... I guess talking with them varmints couldn't be hurt. But I ain't making up!" Granny said.

*Back at the valley*

"It's settled then? You'll work together until the dam is down?" Brody asks "I reckon so. We'll try it, but no promises!" Granny said "Thank Goodness!" Serro said holding hands with Jared and Granny sees this "You and that valley boy? Ain't no way! I knew something funny was going on. The deal's off!" Granny said and Sonic gets inbetween "Stop! Oh, this is mondo uncool!" Sonic said "Mondo? What in tarnation is 'mondo'?" Zeb asks "He means fighting's not the way to settle this" Sonia said "I do?" Sonic asks and Brody lightly nudges him with his elbow "Oof, Oh yeah I do!" Sonic said "Nah feuding is what we do. The only way we settle this is with a fight!" Granny said "But you don't have to fight, right Sonic?" Sonia asks "Uh, right, y-you could uh-uh-uh-uh-uh..." Sonic said "You could settke this with music!" Brody said "Yeah! What he said" Sonic said "Well, we ain't played no music for a while, so, er, I pick Sonic Hedgehog to do our playing" Granny said "Huh?" Sonic asks "And Brody will play for us" Zeb said "No way!" Sonic said "We really-" Brody said "Please, otherwise they'll just start fighting again!" Serro said "I vote for music" Manic said "No problemo, let's get the show on!" Sonic said "Exactamundo!" Brody said "Let's rip it!" Manic said and the four summon their instruments  and play a song.

*After a song*

"Well maybe we can work together. Least way's long enough to stop this dam" Granny said as everyone was cheering "Well now that we have them working together...." Sonia said "Time to take out the big guy!" Sonic said.

*At the dam*

"You know the plan. When Sonic and Brody lures the guardian bot away we strike" Sonia said "Go dudes!" Manic said and Brody and Sonic run to the giant robot "Hey, bolts for brains!" Sonic and Brody said getting it's attention and summon their guitars and shoot at it and run off as the robot chases after them.

"Let's go!" Sonia said "Let's go!" Zeb said as they all run to the dam taking out robots "Yeah, move it out!" Zeb said "Yeah, cowards, you get now!" Granny said "It's not over yet. Let's bring this dam down! How about a drum roll, Manic?" Sonia asks "One downbeat, coming up!" Manic said and the people gasp and run when they see Sleet's ship appear.

"They must have destroyed the guardian bot. Now we'll destroy them!" Sleet said "Ah, man! Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!" Manic said "Wish we had a robot to fight them fellers with" Serro said "That's an idea. If only I could get a message to Sonic and Brody!" Sonia said "It won't be hard to find them" Jared said "That's for sure" Sonia said "No, Jared! It's too dangerous" Serro said "And this isn't? What do I tell Sonic and Brody?" Jared asks.

*Meanwhile with Sonic and Brody*

"Man, Buttnik's outdone himself with this mean machine!" Brody said and Sonic giggles "Almost" Sonic said when Jared found them "It's me guys! Sonia's got a plan!" Jared said "Yo what?" Sonic asks "Heads up!" Brody said as they dodge a blast and keep running "She wants you to bring that thing back to the dam" Jared said "What?!" Sonic and Brody ask.

*Back a the Dam*

"Er... it looks like they're gone" Dingo said "Wait a minute...." Sleet said when they see Sonia and Manic "Let's stun two hedgehogs!" Sleet said when their ship gets shot "What was that?" Dingo asks "Must protect dam" The robot said as he kept shooting at the dhip "Hey, doesn't he know we are on his side?" Dingo asks "Does it look like he knows we're on his side?! Time for plan b" Sleet said "Isn't there a plan c?" Dingo asks and Sleet morphs him into a glider and uses it to get away.

Everyone cheers at this as Sonic, Brody and Jared return and Serro hugs Jared "Thank goodness, you're safe!" Serro said "No problemo" Jared said "Now you're talking bud!" Sonic and Brody said "Just one more riff to play. Dance to this beat, bot!" Manic said playing his drums "push it bro!" Sonic said and Manic plays harder making the dam break and water topples the robot making it short circuit "Great performance, Manic!" Sonia said kissing his cheek and Granny walks to Zeb "Not bad for a bunch of yokels, eh Zeb?" Granny asks "Yeeeeehaw! Let's have us a wingding!" Zeb said "Yeah a win wingding!" Granny said.

*Back at the village*

"Hey, there Sonic and Brody! You and your kinfolk come over here, would ya?" Granny asks and the four walk up to her "What's up Granny?" Brody asks "I want to thank y'all for what you've done. And since y'all like's music so much...." Granny said grabbing her music jug "She ain't touched that thing since the feud started!" Serro said suprised "I want you to have my music jug" Granny said and looks inside it and gets suprised "Tarnation! What's in my jug?" She asks and rattles it around "Hooch my possum!" She said and pulls out the medallion "The medallion!" Serro said "Well, for goodness sake. The medallion!" Granny said and gasps "I remember's now! I put the medallion into my music jug for safekeeping. But my mind wasn't really on the medallion that night. I reckon I owe's you an apology, Zeb. I'm awful sorry" Granny said "Don't you worry nothing about it, Granny. Maybe we could pick up where's we left off?" Zeb asks "Well, I think our work here is done" Sonic said "I'm thinking this oughta go to you young couple. You all helped us save our homes and..." Granny said and looks at Zeb "Something even more important" She said giving her medallion to Brody "Gee Granny, I don't know" Brody said taking it "Granny's right. These are from your ma and pa. You oughta have 'em" Zeb said giving his medallion to Sonic "I....I don't know what to say" Sonic said "Hey, babe, look!" Brody said as the two fit the medallions together "It's a map! Well, I guess we know where we're heading next" Sonic said "It looks like everybody got what they wanted. This calls for a hoedown!" Zeb said "Wanna dance love?" Brody asks "Charmed!" Sonic said as the two start dancing as this chapter comes to an end.
