Tails flew through the skies the green grass blew in the wind and the tree leaves waved from the breeze the two tailed Fox's fur blew as he flew

Tails smiled as the animals ran freely on the grass he landed safely on his feet his ears blew back a bit from the wind when he felt a fast breeze pass by he fell down and looked up to catch a glimpse of a speedy hedgehog with spiked quills and feet that spun in a circle as he ran Tails eyes started glowing in fascination

"Woah" Tails said in fascination he got up and chased after the speedy hedgehog he spun his two tails like a by plane getting closer to the hedgehog but the gap between them never got closer or farther since they matched the same speed but one was farther then the other the gap never closed or extended it only stayed the same

Sonic ran and turned his head to see Tails behind him "No one's ever caught up to me like that!" He ran faster and faster making his feet move in a figure eight

Tails flew with his two tails and zoomed after catching the same speed as him Tails flew faster getting beside the hedgehog

Sonic looked at Tails and gasped in surprise "No one's ever caught up to me before!" He stopped and Tails stopped "Who are you?"

"My name's Miles Prower... But people call me Tails" Tails landed safely on his feet "What's your name?"

"I'm Sonic... Sonic the hedgehog" Sonic smiled at the two tailed fox

"Do you mind if I follow you?" Tails said hesitantly

"I don't mind just promise you won't slow me down I need to save those animals" Sonic replied in a calm but determined tone

Tails nodded and Sonic lifted up his foot "Wait Sonic?"

Sonic looked at Tails "Hmm..."

Tails hugged Sonic, Tails smiled and Sonic smiled as well and hugged Tails back

"Thanks" Tails said pulling back from the hug

"No problem" Sonic replied back to Tails he grabbed Tails hand and ran as fast as he could making his feet run in a figure eight Tails spun his two tails like a by plane keeping up with Sonic and Sonic let Tails hand go and Tails stayed next to Sonic

"Maybe this won't be bad" Sonic whispered and looked at Tails the two tailed fox kept up with Sonic
