Knuckles and Tails glare up ahead as they get into their position.

"Here we go!"

Sonic and Gwen got into their running/roller skating position.

"Showtime!"

The dark room lights up to reveal the Chao mascots on stage singing and dancing with the title "Chao Garden" above them.

"What is this den of madness?" Knuckles questioned as he, Gwen, Sonic, and Tails were seated at the table with the Chao mascots around them.

Tails gives two peace signs with his fingers while Knuckles, Gwen, and Sonic are confused. Two little girls come up to Tails as they're the same age as him.

"Are you the detective Pikachu?" the girl asked.

Knuckles laughs and bangs his fists down on the table a bit and points at Tails.

"Haha! He does look like a Pokemon!"

Tails look unamused as Knuckles does the Pikachu gesture.

"Pika-Pika!"

"Really, Knucks?" Gwen raised her eyebrow, unamused.

Suddenly, the restaurant blacks out and the Flying Eggs come down and aim their missiles at Team Sonic.

"Konnichi-what??" Sonic questioned.

The Flying Eggs then starts firing.

"Get down!" Gwen yelled.

They all ducked from the missiles while saving Commander Walters.

At Tokyo on a rainy night, Shadow stood in the middle of the street all soaked as the GUN soldiers surrounded him and aimed their gun at him.

"You're surrounded!" they warned.

In the dark cell, Gerald looked at the chalkboard which showed a picture of a ship.

"It's time, Shadow."

Shadow's eyes flash electric orange as they narrow, feeling very angry. Then the whole Tokyo city blacks out. Shadow air skates across the ocean after escaping from Prison Island.

"Finally, we will have our revenge." Gerald said, facing Robotnik. "But what good is an asly plot if you can't conspire with family?"

Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are chained up to the post, unconscious. Though Sonic managed to wake up first to see Robotnik and Gerald walking up to them, side by side.

"There's two Eggmen now?!" he exclaimed in disbelief and horror.

"Double your villains, double your fun." Robotnik stated with a grin.

Shadow teleported above Sonic Team with handcuffed Gwen beside him.

"Any last words?"

To Gwen's horror, Shadow gives a grin, holding a small black round object before dropping it as it floated above Sonic Team. Robotnik chuckles evilly.

Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails stare at the floating spinning object as it starts to flash a small electric orange.

"Uh, nice magic marble. Real scary." Sonic said sarcastically.

Though he spoke too soon as the round object created a big black hole. It begins sucking everything inside the abandoned lab.

"Aah!! That actually is really scary!"

Gwen stares in horror at the black hole and her family and runs up to Shadow's side while handcuffed.

"Shadow, please!! Stop this!"

Shadow only glances at her coldly before grabbing her arm.

"Let's go," he said before the two teleported away.

As soon as they left, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles started flying up to the black hole. But Knuckles quickly grabs a hold of the metal cable with his teeth. Sonic takes out a Ring and flicks it up to the air.

"Trick shot!"

He then kicks it to try and teleport them out of the black hole while Knuckles keeps a hold of the cable. The Ring keeps bumping into every floated debris with Sonic and Tails looking at it anxiously until Knuckles lets go of the cable. The trio started flying towards the Ring where the black hole starts as they get sucked into the Wachowski living room where Tom and Maddie are seated on the couch. The two parents were surprised and concerned see them in chains.

"Tom, Maddie, we need your help on the super..." Sonic spoke, but he's actually talking the wrong way as they only see Knuckles. "Uh, Knuckles, do you mind?"

"Oh, excuse me." Knuckles realized as he turned around to let them see Sonic.

"Tom, Maddie, we need your help on the super dangerous top-secret mission, and Gwen is kidnapped again." Sonic continued speaking with a warning.

"We're in." Tom agreed as he and Maddie stand up.

In London, Tails flies towards the building at speed with a yellow trail behind him.

"Are you ready?" Sonic spoke in his running position.

Tom, Maddie, Randall, and Rachel are in their military outfits while Tom and Maddie are on standby with binoculars that Tom had.

"We're born ready."

Tails flies with his two tails when he puts out his metal wings to go even faster, Knuckles come out of the underground, and Sonic runs at their speed in their color trails.

"Alright boys, try to keep up."

"Come on, granddaddy-o," Robotnik said, as he rose up from the manhole in the alleyway.

He and Shadow stood in the middle, facing something in front of them in their own pose with Gerald and Stone standing on the opposite side. Shadow glares angrily while Robotnik appears excited. Standing next to Shadow is Gwen, who's worried and scared, and she is handcuffed.

"We got dirt to do." he finished, pointing at his grandfather.

A UFO from the water rises up above the bridge of London.

"With Shadow's power..." Gerald started.

Shadow appears to be in anguish along with sadness like he sees something devastating. Back to the present, Shadow keeps running around the loop in speed full power with orange trails behind him. Gwen looks up with worry to see him full of anger and pain while running.

"...we can rule humanity." Robotnik finished for him, gesturing the entire Earth with orange electric trails spinning above them where Shadow was running.

Everyone started looking up at the flying spaceship, wondering what was going on.

"When we're done, there won't be anything left to rule." Shadow said with sorrow, placing his hand against the glass window of the spaceship where he could see Earth.

Gwen, Shadow, Robotnik, and Gerald stand by the window as they start flying out of Earth to space.

"No! Y-You can't! You need to stop it! This isn't what she wanted!" Gwen pleaded, grabbing his arm.

"Don't you dare bring her into this! You don't know what I had to go through!" Shadow snapped, snatching his arm away from her.

"Yes, I do! Because I too lost someone close to me and my brother!" she snapped back, poking his chest hard.

The spaceship activates the claws.

"That is dark." Stone commented.

The spaceship then fires a laser as it destroys half the moon.

"Somebody better call Google Maps," Sonic said, placing his fists on his hips.

At night, in the field of flowers, Shadow and Maria are sitting next to each other hand in hand as they turn to each other with a smile after gazing up at the night sky.

"Life's all about the choices we make," Tom said.

In a green capsule, Shadow places his hand against the glass where Maria's hand is as they smile at each other fondly. Back to the present in the same place, Shadow had his hand against the cracked glass of capsule where he was born as he closed his eyes in sorrow. Gwen looks at him with sympathy and places her hand on his shoulder. Shadow looks at her and smiles, placing his hand on hers.

"Remember to listen to your heart to make the right choice what matters the most."

In the cornfield, Knuckles holds up a fist to Sonic for a fist bump, only to instead be hugged by Sonic. Tails smiles at the sight.

In Tokyo, Shadow is on the motorcycle and kicked something down to make it jump into the air before catching it reveal a gun.

Sonic gets into a running position, glowing blue before speeding up after Shadow.

"One hedgehog to another, who does your highlights?" he asked.

Shadow glares at the side mirror of his bike where Sonic's reflection is and turns to him over his shoulder.

"The more you talk, the harder I want to hit you," he warned.

"I'm actually not talking, just giving you a distraction." Sonic pointed out with a smile.

Shadow raises his eyebrow with confusion for a moment until he turns to the side to see Gwen already here and charging toward him with her leg out as she yells a battle cry. She then kicks him off of his bike. Shadow quickly saved himself with his air shoes to stop himself from hitting the ground as Gwen landed in front of him with a glare.

Sonic and Gwen are on the tower when Shadow flies up behind them with full orange electric power. Three hedgehogs fly up to each other in the air with their fists ready along with their own glowing electric power all over their body as they clash with each other.

Sonic clenched his fists, causing blue electricity to come out as he glared at Shadow.

"This ends now!"

The same ship that Gerald was looking at in his prison starts to aim fire. Everyone on Earth, including Stone looks up at the incoming danger they weren't prepared for.

"Our destiny awaits." Gerald announced.

Robotnik makes the floating platform go up with orange electric spinning around the room.

At the Stratovolcanoes, Sonic and Shadow are fighting as Sonic rolls on the rocky ground and stops himself on fours before facing his enemy.

"You are right about one thing..."

The spaceship fires a laser again toward Earth.

"This ends now." Shadow said before swinging his fist at Sonic.

Robotnik, dressed in his Christmas pajamas, slowly peeks from the corner with his mouth agape. Standing before him is Gerald dressed as Santa Claus by the Christmas tree. Gerald sees Robotnik and shushes him with his finger up to his lips. Robotnik screams in excitement runs up to Gerald and tackles him into a hug with his arms and legs around him, causing Gerald to crash into the Christmas tree and create sparks from the Christmas lights.
