In the living room of the Wachowski House, Team Sonic are all standing together.

"Since this is our first holiday together, I'm going to show you guys how to do it right. There's the lights..."

Sonic zooms around the Christmas tree, decorating it.

"And the ugly sweaters." Gwen added, swiftly putting the sweaters on them including herself.

Sonic, Gwen, Tails, and Knuckles are now wearing Christmas sweaters. Sonic in his chili dog sweater, Gwen in her two crossed katanas sweater, Tails in his biplane sweater, and Knuckles in his grapes sweater.

"Cool!" Tails admired his sweater.

"Disgusting." Knuckles commented, not liking his sweater.

"Aw, don't be like that. I think it looks good on you." Gwen assured him, making Knuckles blush.

"And the most important part..."

Sonic places a chili dog, a glass of milk, and a note saying "For Santa" close to the fireplace.

"Santa Claus."

"I am familiar with Mr. Santana." Knuckles said.

"N-No! It's San-ta." Gwen giggled.

"But, yeah, he's awesome. And he's the only one on Earth almost as fast as me." Sonic said.

"How does he do it?" Tails asked.

Sonic holds out a Ring.

"Why don't we ask him?"

Meanwhile, Santa is in the middle of an area covered in snow, searching for something on the snowy ground.

"Now where did I put my keys?" he wondered.

A Ring opens, and Santa falls through it.

"Whoa! Ahh!"

Santa finds himself in the living room of the Wachowski House. The ring closes behind him, and Sonic and Gwen rushes up to him.

"Oh, my golden rings! Santa!" Sonic gasped, concerned.

"Are you okay? So sorry about that!" Gwen apologized.

"Can I get a pic?"

Sonic grabs his phone and takes a selfie with Santa.

"Sonic!!" Gwen scolded her brother.

Santa gets up.

"Ho, ho, nooooo, my ankle! I'll never be able to deliver all my presents in time!" he cried out.

"Not to worry, Santana. I will alert the children that Christmas is canceled." Knuckles assured him.

"What?! No!" Gwen exclaimed in shock.

"No, wait, wait, wait, wait. There's got to be another way." Sonic said.

"Well, if there was someone..." Santa started.

"Yeah?" Sonic asked.

"Who was almost as fast as me..." Santa continued.

Sonic zoomed around him and asked eagerly.

"Uh-huh?"

"And that person had help from a team..."

"From a team?" Sonic asked again.

"Then maybe..." Santa said.

"Maybe? Hold on. Are you saying you want Team Sonic to save Christmas?" Sonic asked excitedly.

"Really?! Awesome!! Let's go!!" Gwen jumped up with excitement.

The song "It's a Sonic Christmas" begins to play in the background as Sonic, Gwen, Tails, and Knuckles are shown delivering the presents. Knuckles is guiding the sleigh by gliding in the air, and Sonic, Gwen, and Tails are in charge of delivering the presents. Sonic tosses a Ring and zooms through it carrying presents. Knuckles tosses two Rings and Sonic, Gwen, and Tails zoom through them, delivering all the presents. Sonic looks at the "Naughty or Nice" list, and sees Dr. Robotnik and Gerald Robotnik's names on the list.

"These two are definitely on the naughty list." Sonic stated.

"Oh, definitely." Gwen agreed.

A Ring opens and Gwen tosses two pieces of coal through it. Team Sonic continue to travel the world as they deliver all the presents. Finally, after completing their duty, they return back to the living room of the Wachowski House, where Santa is sitting on the sofa.

"Santa, we did it!" Sonic happily announced.

"But you forgot the most important part." Santa said.

Team Sonic run up to the Christmas tree. Sonic holds a present.

"Nunchucks?" Sonic guessed.

"A new plane?" Tails guessed.

"Lots and lots and lots of grapes?" Knuckles guessed.

"What is it?" Gwen wondered.

Sonic unwraps the present, and it is a picture frame with a photo of Tom, Maddie, and Team Sonic.

"The gift of knowing you're part of a family." Santa reminded.

"Aww!!" Gwen felt touched at the family picture.

"Thank you, Santa!" Sonic and Tails said in unison.

"Now let's get you home." Sonic said.

Back to the middle of an area covered in snow, a Ring opens and Team Sonic and Santa step through it. The Ring closes behind them. Suddenly, they notice something.

"Shadow?" Santa and Gwen called, surprised.

They see Shadow attaching the sleigh to the back of the Dark Rider. He hops onto it.

"What are you doing??" Santa and Gwen questioned in unison.

"You chose the wrong hedgehog. He can't even teleport." Shadow said before smiling at Gwen. "And here's a Merry Christmas present to you, Gwen."

Shadow tosses a present to Gwen, who catches it, and then zooms off on the Dark Rider with the sleigh following behind it. Snow lands onto Sonic and Santa's faces, but they rub it off. They look in the direction where Shadow is headed.

"Well, if he can teleport, why did he have to steal my sleigh?" Santa asked.

"I feel like this guy's gonna be a problem." Sonic frowned.

Santa is in the living room of the Wachowski House, sitting on the sofa. Santa eats a chili dog, but notices that some of the mustard got stuck on his beard. He uses one of the sofa's pillows to wipe it away. He finishes eating the rest of the chili dog, and places the pillow back onto the sofa in such a way so that the stain is facing away from the viewer. He decides to sit back and relax.

Gwen looks down at the present Shadow gave her earlier and unwraps it, and it is a celestial twin butterfly hair clip.

She was speechless at the beautiful gift she received and smiled, feeling her cheeks hot at the thoughtful present from him. Knuckles noticed that along with a gift and felt jealous, slightly mad at Shadow's move. Gwen turned to see him slightly in a bad mood and noticed something from above and smirked. She put the hairclip on her front hair before approaching Knuckles. Knuckles noticed her coming towards him and before he could say anything, he was suddenly kissed in the lips passionately before Gwen pulled away. She giggled at his wide eyed, pink face. She pointed up to the ceiling to show a hanging mistletoe, which he looked up. He was about to ask her about that when she kissed him again. Knuckles gave in and kissed back, cupping her cheeks.
