Tails make a fast turn, causing Sonic and Y/N to fall to the side and hang on tight. Y/N looks through the back window and sees Knuckles and Sonya catching up and chases them in speed.

Y/N: Where did they get this power?!

Tails begins to introduce himself in his fanboy mood.

Tails: "Wow! Okay! Let me just say it is an honor to finally meet you, Sonic and Y/N. Is it okay if I call you Sonic and Y/N? Everyone calls me Tails. You're probably wondering why."

Y/N/Sonic: "Let us guess. Because of the extra tail?" 

Tails lit up with joy.

Tails: "That's right! I should've known you two get that."

Sonic: "Cool. Also, what is going on?!" (Sonic looked now all panicked.) "Robotnik's back? And who are red tomato twins?!

Y/N: Their names are Knuckles and Sonya the echidnas, I know because I met Sonya once.

Tails: He's right. But they're the last of the echidnas and the most dangerous warriors in the galaxy. They're obsessed with finding the Master Emerald."

Sonic and Y/N looks surprised.

Sonic: "Are you serious? The Master Emerald?"

Y/N: "I thought it was just a myth."

Tails: "Well, they believe it's real and must think you two are the key in finding it. 

Sonic: (Looks ahead and sees the streetlight turned red. )"Red light, red light! Give me the wheel!"

Sonic scoots over to the driver's seat, moving Tails away and taking the wheel.

Tails: "Hey! What are you--?!"

Sonic: "Move your butt!"

Y/N: "Trust me! He knows what he's doing!" (Pulls Tails to the other side of the front seat.)

Sonic dodges the incoming cars and sees a honking giant truck and manages to swerve to the side, dodging it as they made it through. Sonic looks back, thinking the truck will block the siblings' path. He sighs in relief and looks at Tails and Y/N.

Sonic: "I think we lost them."

Y/N looks back and then suddenly Knuckles and Sonya punch/kick through the truck with super strength.

Y/N: "You just had to jinx it!!"

They jump over the street and land on top of the police car, and Knuckles plunges his fist inside, nearly hitting Sonic and Tails, who screamed at the sight of his big spiked boxing glove. Knuckles pulled his fist back and tears off the door where Tails is sitting. 

Sonya: Going somewhere?!

Sonic: "We did not lose them! We definitely did not lose them!"

Tails nearly fall off to the edge of the cliff they're on now as Sonic drive.

Y/N: "You keep driving! I'll take care of this! (Y/N flips up onto the roof of the car and lands between the two siblings.) Hi!

Knuckles: Foolish, hedgehog!

(Shaw is Sonya and Dwayne is Knuckes)

Meanwhile, Tails looks down at the edge and his eyes lit up.

Tails: "I got an idea. Do you trust me?"

Sonic: "Of course not! We literally just met you!" 

"Well, I trust him!" Y/N yelled, blocking Knuckles' fist and twisting his arm.

Tails: "Just let me!" (Tails takes the wheel and turns it to the right where the edge is.)

Sonic: "Whoa! What are you doing?!" 

Y/N noticed it and prayed that Tails knows what he's doing and held onto the car. They then crash through the fence and began to fall. Sonic begins screaming. Tails grabs onto Sonic and Y/N and begins to fly using his twin tails. Knuckles tries to grab them, but they're already high up in the sky.

Sonya: Knuckles, we have to go!

Knuckles: (Begrudignly nods)

 They both jump off the police car and plunge thier spikes onto the cliff to hold on. The police car crashed into the trees, creating explosion. Sonic kept screaming as Y/N looked at him in annoyance.

Y/N: "You done?"

He stopped and found himself in the air with Tails holding onto them.

Sonic: "We're flying! Uh, did your butt just turned into a helicopter?"

Tails: (Laughed at Sonic's question.) "Ha ha ha! Heli-butt-copter! Oh, only Sonic the Hedgehog could come up with something like that."

Y/N: "You're amazing! It's no wonder they called you Tails!"

Tails: (Blushed at his praise.) "He he! Thanks!"

Y/N glances down and looks at Sonya, frowning. Sonya looks back at him as he takes off into the distance before she starts climbing, with the brother.

 Robotnik arrives on a riding mower that he gets off and kicks indignantly as he watches Sonic, Y/N, and Tails fly away.]

Robotnik: Hmhmhm. Foxy move...

[Robotnik raises his control glove and starts tapping on it.]

Robotnik: Want something done right, you'll have to hire someone you can push around. All-caps.

[Scene change, Mean Bean Coffee Café, night.]

[Cut to Agent Stone as he prepares a latte. He then takes out a pair of latte art "pencils" and sketches something. He looks down to see the face of Robotnik that he has drawn on it.]

Agent Stone: Doctor, where are you?

[A customer in the café stirs the cup with the Robotnik image in it.]

Customer: Freak.

[Stone is revealed to be at work in the Mean Bean Coffee Café. Stone then hears a ding. He looks at his watch to see a message reading, "PREPARE MY LATTE". Stone is shocked by this.]

Agent Stone: Oh! I... uh... I'm sorry folks, I-I have to close early. Everybody out! Thank you for visiting the Mean Bean! Alright, good night! Good night.

[The customers proceed to leave, afterwards Stone flips the sign from open to closed, and removes the passing health inspector grade, revealing an F-. He runs up to one of the boilers, and the temperature gauge on it transforms into a retina scanner and scans Stone's eye. Afterwards, a red button appears on the spill guard of a drink machine which Stone presses.]

[Scene change: Outer space, above Earth.]

[A white satellite starts lighting up.]

[Scene change, Mean Bean Coffee Café, night.]

[Stone stands at the register, beaming.]

Agent Stone: He's back. HE'S BAAAAAACK!!!

[Scene change: Outer space, above Earth.]

[A large egg-shaped pod detaches from the satellite and heads for Earth. Soon after, it lands at the location of Robotnik, who puts his goggles on as a door on the pod opens up for him. The machine then opens panels on it to reveal a storage for his Badniks that include the standard egg-shaped drones and Buzz Bombers. Robotnik gets cleaned up inside the pod, which gives him new clothes while tiny Badniks clean out his nose hairs, fix his mustache, and squirt mouthwash into his mouth for him to rinse with. Robotnik emerges from the pod with his army of Badniks behind him.]

Robotnik: That's more like it... I've been... [Inhales] Re-hatched!

[The scene cuts to Knuckles and Sonya, who are scaling the cliff, using their own fists to hoist themselves upward before a laser blast stops them in their tracks.] 

Sonya: What the-?

[They turn to see a squad of Badniks surrounding them as Robotnik looks down to the two siblings.]

Robotnik: So, my... massively meta-carpaled friends. You mentioned-- [Howls] Uuuuuuuuuuuuuultimate power... back at the house?

Sonya: The Master Emerald? Why do you-?

Knuckles: It does not concern you! We got you off that planet and you brought us to the hedgehogs. We have no more use for each other!

Robotnik: Well, I hate to be a contrarian but, I think we might.

[After Robotnik makes a few button presses on his control glove, the Badniks close in on Knuckles and Sonya.]

Knuckles: You think these machines are a match for me? I will shatter them like the bones from a fallen--

Sonya: Brother. (Points to the drones, that are acting like drones.)

Knuckles: Oh. They are stairs.

Sonya: Come on.

(Both use the stairs to get back up Robotnik.)

Robotnik: You see... Earth, is my turf, G.

[Robotnik proceeds to do the floss]

Robotnik: If ya don't know how to floss, you'll be lost without me.

Sonya: Wha-I-okay, take no offense to this, but what the heck are you talking about it?

Knuckles: I agree with my sister.

Robotnik: I help you retrieve the Emerald, and you use it to [Inhales and swipes his hands rapidly] destroy the HEDGEHOOOOOOOOOOGS!!!

As soon as he mentioned, destroying the hedgehogs, Sonya, began to think about Y/N. She was feeling conflicted.

Knuckles: You're suggesting an alliance?

Robotnik: Around here, we simply, grip each others hands tightly.

[Demonstrating, Robotnik lowers his hand for a handshake, making Knuckles grip his hand so tight that they hear bones cracking. Robotnik quickly gets his hand out and feels the pain. Sonya immediately gets worried and walks over to Robotnik.]

Sonya: Are you okay?

Robotnik: Your truculent space brother, crushed my favorite hand!

Knuckles: Really? My hand is uninjured. But I am now convinced of your commitment.

Robotnik: Oh goodie. He exclaimed, as he relocated two of his knuckles--

[Robotnik relocates his knuckles as he hears his bones popping back into place.]

Robotnik: Ayyyyy....'m delighted... to be... on the same... team.

Sonya: Sorry about that.

[With a few button presses on his control glove, Robotnik makes the Egg Mobile come out of the pod and lower itself down to the three of them.]

Robotnik: Road trip! I'll let you stick your nose out the window.

After their flight, they're now in Wade's house as they head into the garage with Wade leading them here.

"Uh, Sonic? Y/N? Where are we?" Tails asked.

"Welcome to the Wade Cave, which is I something I hope to someday say to a woman. A woman who's not my mom." Wade said with a little joke.

"Wade, focus." Y/N scolded.

"Bro is right. We need to figure out why Knuckles and Sonya thinks we're the key to finding the Master Emerald."

Y/N: Why did he mention Longclaw?"

"There must be a connection." Tails said.

Sonic: "Wait a minute! There is! Look!"

Sonic pulls out the map and shows it to Tails. Y/N's eyes widen in recognition.

"That's right! The map! See that? There's an emerald symbol on the map Longclaw gave us. We never knew what it meant before."

"Something's happening." Tails warned.

They see the blue light tracing the lines of the drawings of the map and spreading everywhere. Sonic drops it in shock.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!"

The bright light lits up and the basement turn dark and the map shows the hologram of Longclaw. Sonic and Y/N's eyes widened in shock.

"Longclaw??"

"Hello, Sonic and Y/N. If you're watching this, then something has happened to me and I pray you two made it to Earth unharmed. This world has been chosen for a very important reason. It's the secret location of the Master Emerald."

She unfolds her wings to reveal the hologram of the shiny Master Emerald.

"Whoa!"

"The emerald has the power to turn thoughts into reality."

"I just take off more somewhere from Ghostbusters." Wade muttered out in awe.

"Shh!!" Tails shushed him.

"In the wrong hands, it could threaten all life in the universe. Protecting the emerald was my sacred duty and now I must pass that responsibility to you two."

"This... is our moment." Sonic gasped.

"That necklace you're wearing, Y/N. It is the fragment of the Master Emerald. It was somehow removed when the echidna attempt to take it back. And now, it calls to you. Use it well, use it wisely."

Y/N gently grips onto the necklace, nodding.

"Follow the map, find the emerald, and keep it safe. My dear children, you two have a heart like no creatures I've ever known. I love you both so much. Goodbye."

"No, Longclaw. Wait..." Y/N cried.

Sonic tried to reach out to her.

"No, no, wait."

Longclaw disappears, leaving only her feather as it fall into his hand and then fades into glittery dust. The lights in Wade's basement turns back on.

"We won't let you down, Longclaw."

Y/N wipes the tears off of her face. Tails feels bad for their loss.

"So is that... your dad?" Wade pointed at Tails.

Tails looks at him in disbelief.

Tails: "What?"

Sonic and Y/N stares at him.

"Now?"

Ignoring him, Sonic, Y/N, and Tails approaches the now clear map as Sonic picks it up.

"According to this map, the first clue is in Siberia. It's a compass that will lead to the emerald."

"And with Knuckles already here, it's a race."

"Knuckles? You know I knew a kid in middle school named Knuckles could fit his whole fist in his mouth. Didn't know any Sonya?" Wade said.

Sonic, Y/N, and Tails looks at each other, feeling concerned.

"If this is the same Knuckles, we are screwed."

"This Knuckles? That Knuckles? It doesn't matter. We're gonna get there first."

Sonic pulls out a ring and tosses it, creating a portal where they can see a snowstorm. Tails looks nervous.

"Ha ha. Um, you mean you and Y/N, right?"

"Oh, no. You're coming with us." Y/N said with a smile.

"Ho ho! No, no, no, no! I just came here to warn you two! I'm not a field guy!"

"Don't worry, we got your back. We won't let anything happen to you." Sonic said.

"Plus, we need a genius like you and you're the perfect one." Y/N added.

Sonic and Y/N brings out their fist. Tails approaches and looks at them in confusion.

"It's a power bump. On Earth, it means an unbreakable promise."

He looks unsure for a moment and then smiles.

"Okay. I'm in!"

Tails power bumps Sonic and Y/N. And off they go on their adventure.

[Scene change, Mean Bean Coffee Café, night.]

[We see a picture of Robotnik and Stone in a cup of coffee. Stone looks pleased and hears the door bell ring as Robotnik steps in. Stone smiles]

Stone: Doctor. It's really you. You look different.

Robotnik: Papa's got a brand new 'stache.

[Robotnik does a spin and poses scoffing in delight. Stone gets up and gets Robotnik his coffee]

Stone: I knew it. I knew it! I knew you'd come back, sir. I never stopped steaming your Austrian goat's milk.

[Robotnik takes the cup and drinks it just as Knuckles enters]

Robotnik: Could use some mushroom.

[Stone looks to Knuckles and Sonya]

Stone: You brought something. Some kind of space porcupines.

Knuckles: Porcupine? We are echidnas! Trained since birth in all forms of lethal combat, destined to restore honor to out tribe-

Sonya: -And willing to destroy anything that gets in our way.

Stone: Welcome to the team.

[Stone bends down and lifts his hand which Knuckles grips immediately. Stone shrieks in pain ads he hears his bones dislocate. Sonya face smacks herself, out of frustration. Robotnik chuckles as he bends to Stone's level]

Robotnik: That means he trusts you, Stone. Now let's renovate this dump!

Stone: Latte with steamed Austrian goat milk!

[The entire coffee shop transforms as the walls shift and flip revealing a massive computer with a Robotnik Empire logo with Badnik drones in the walls. The counter turns into a holographic table, all the while Robotnik looks in delight.]
