This couple would be a very playful one, even if the 8 year age gap if illegal.

  They would probably continue to act the same way because Tails is a child and wouldn't be able to understand mature relationships. The most intiment I could see it being it a quick kiss, hand holding, and a peck on the cheek here and there.

  But because of Tails's age and inexperience with romance, it would be like playing house for them. Nothing much going on except some slight awkwardness here and there.

  If it were to last it would take a very long time before it became anything serious, but it more likely that they'll just drift back into friends without noticing. The kisses will stop and they'll be sidekick and hero again without knowing. Being friends like they always have been.

  If they did stay together they would probably a sweeter couple when their older, but there's the risk of Tails ignoring Sonic for the sake of his work. Tails would have to choice between a focus on his work an d a focus on Sonic, or find a balance. Sonic would have to balance his hero life and time with tails as well.

  Of they last they would most likely be a couple that hardly got to see each other and had a few dates here and there, no grand wedding, small gifts on their anniversary, but still, they'd be happy.

  Over all, it all depends if if they drift or not.
