  This ship would be dangerous indeed, but it does have a slim bright side.

  Mephilies himself is a very dark character and had even killed Sonic before back in Sonic 06'. This ship would be one that would need lots of caution. Mephilies is manipulative and is skilled in getting what he wants; and for Sonic, that is a danger.

  Sonic is a stubborn character and isn't easy to sway in any direction unless you're Tails. To Mephilies manipulating Sonic would be a challenge and a one he most likely would not give up on.

  Them main arguments would be based on Sonic's disobedience towards Mephilies and his demands. These fight could get rather physical if Mephilies chooses a more abusive path. On the other hand, Mephilies could trick Sonic's mind into obeying him by mentally manipulating Sonic.

  Sonic does have a chance of influencing Mephilies if he takes it. A change in nature is not easy to pull off with someone as dark as Mephilies. If Sonic could steer Mephilies from his obsession with iblis and destroying the world, Mephilies could, in turn, become a kinder person and even abandon evil.

  It's a game of who can be manipulated. And the side that wins will lead the ship into a relationship or into an abusive hell fire.

  Either way, it's fun to watch a risk like this.
