Babylon Rogues' ship. Inside the ship, Wave is working at her computer while Jet is sitting at his desk and waiting. Suddenly, he gets angry and hits the table.

"He's late! What's taking Storm so long, anyway?!"

Storm bursts into Jet's office.

"Sorry, Boss!"

"You're late!"

"But I brought back something good!"

Storm puts two Arks of the Cosmos on Jet's desk. Jet takes them.

"Not bad, Storm, not bad."

"Heh heh..." Storm giggled.

"Jet." Wave said.

"What is it?" Jet asked.

"I found a passage in that ancient text that has me wondering... I'll try to paraphrase it simply enough for you to follow."

"Mm? Let's hear it!" Jet said, sitting down.

"...We've reached our decision. We must severe the engine unit from this vessel."

Computer shows Astral Babylon sinking into darkness.

"For if we delay, the contraction of the engine's core will lead the lightless black to consume everything..."

Eggman is behind the door to Jet's office, looking into the office. He sees the Arks of the Cosmos and smiles.

"Lightless black?! What the heck does that mean?"

"Who can say? What are your thoughts?" Wave asked.

"How should I know?! Anyway, we can leave thinking for later!"

Jet starts touching his desk to find the Arks of the Cosmos.

"For now, we need to collect these Arks of the... ...huh?"

He turns to his table and realizes that the Arks of the Comos are gone. The Babylon Rogues look around in shock when Wave and Storm notice the Egg Mobile pass by their window.

Jet turns slowly towards the window.

"Ah... uh... ah..."

"Ahh ha ha ha ha!" Eggman laughed.

"Why that dirty...! Sneak onto my ship, will he?! Full speed ahead! Follow him!" Jet ordered, looking outside the window angrily.

The Babylon Rouges' ship follows the Egg Mobile.

At Gigan Rocks, Sonic, Y/N, and their friends arrive in some ruins with an altar and stop.

"Was there an earthquake in here?" Sonic asked.

Knuckles runs to the chalice at the altar.

"It's gone!!"

"What's wrong, Knuckles?" Y/N asked.

"The legends say the star shard is supposed to be in this chalice... Did it roll off somewhere in the quake?"

Y/N rubs her chin, thinking.

"Can it be Jet and them that took it? I remember correctly that they are treasure hunter thieves..."

Tails is looking at the painting behind the altar. He comes closer.

"Hey, Tails, what's up with this painting?" Sonic asked.

"The divine wings..."

"Divine wings?"

Amy walks closer to Tails.

"Yes, the legendary bird that the gods rode through the heavens. Knuckles, see if you can read the inscription."

Knuckles nods and started reading from the painting.

"...The divine wings, straddler of stars, lose their plumes to the dark and fall to the ground. The plumes become as stars, returning to this land. We, the children of Babylon..."

"Babylon?!" Sonic asked in shock.

"I knew it! So it was Jet and his friends!" Y/N said in her thought.

"What connection do they have with these stones?" Knuckles asked.

"We still don't know that. But could the stones those robots are after be the plumes written about here? The divine wings, straddler of stars... Could they be power units, used to operate some starship?" Tails said.

"So this divine wing thing is..." Sonic started.

"Right... Babylon Garden..."

Suddenly, Eggman's Egg Mobile flies across the sky above. Following it are the Babylon Rogues in their airship.

"Jet!" Y/N shouted.

"Eggman!!" Sonic shouted.

"Knuckles, what does the rest of inscription say?" Tails asked.

"Huh? Oh, right. ...We, the children of Babylon, seal one star here, and another within the great scar, formed in heaven's fall, until the time of the divine wings' rising."

"The great scar?" Y/N raised her eyebrow.

"There's more... The great scar, lying in the east among earth stained red by the dawn's light..."

"Eggman and Jet were headed east! The great scar must be the crater formed when the meteorites struck ground. That must be where Eggman found the plume!" Tails said, realizing.

"Which means the mother computer..." Sonic said.

"...Is probably waiting there, too." Tails finished his sentence.

"Alright, time to go catch up!"

"Yeah!"

Crimson Tower. Sonic, Y/N, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are riding in a desert toward the crater.

"Hm?"

The Babylon Rogues are seen standing at the base of the Crimson Tower.

"Heh, it took you long enough." Jet said.

"Where's Eggman?" Sonic asked.

They hop off of their Extreme Gears. Jet points at the Crimson Tower behind him.

"They call it the Crimson Tower. It's the MeteoTech's signal tower. Commands sent out here relay through facilities across the world to control the robots. In other words, you're looking at MeteoTech's brain!" Wave said.

"That fink Eggman nabbed the Arks of the Cosmos we'd got and ran in there..." Storm added.

"What's he after this time?" Y/N groaned.

"He's probably planning to use the stones' power to issue an order to all the worlds' robots from this tower. Sooner or later, he was planning to set the robots rampaging." Tails explained.

"That was probably his reason for forming the MeteoTech in the first place." Amy said.

"The Eggman Land project again, huh? He never gives up, does he?" Sonic said.

"Figures..." Y/N muttered.

Sonic gets on his Extreme Gear.

"Well... Looks like we gotta storm the place."

Y/N nodded and gets on her Extreme Gear as her and Sonic starts riding toward Crimson Tower but suddenly Jet gets in their way.

"Hold it."

"Huh?"

"Jet?"

"You think I was sitting around here twiddling my thumbs? Sonic the Hedgehog?"

"I follow you. Sorry to keep you waiting."

Jet points at the Crimson Tower.

"First one to nab Eggman gets all of the Arks of the Cosmos!"

Wave and Storm are surprised.

"And the title of fastest creature in the universe!"

"Heh, sounds like fun to me!" Sonic grinned.

Jet turned to Y/N.

"Don't think I forget about you, Y/N. Let's see how much improvement you have what it takes to beat me!"

Y/N smirked, putting on her goggles over her eyes.

"Bring it on!"

"Let's get started!" Jet grinned in excitement.

Everyone rides on the main path leading towards the tower.

Once they head inside the tower, Y/N rode past them and jumped up high over the edge and did the ollie and landed to the other side. She rode through the road a bit until she jumped over the edge high and did a triple flip and landed.

"Dang! Your sister is good!" Jet exclaimed, trying to catch up to her.

"That's why she's a skateboarder pro and now she's a hoverboarder pro." Sonic grinned before boosting his Extreme Gear.

After jumping over another edge of the road, Y/N uses her Ark of the Cosmos. She floated for a second until she started going faster. She went up high and used her Ark of the Cosmos again and flew up and landed onto the next road. A minute or so from racing, doing some moves, and using the Ark of the Cosmos, Y/N made it first as Sonic went second and Jet went third.

In the Crimson Tower. Eggman is in the mother computer's room. A container for the Arks of the Cosmos comes out of the ceiling. Eggman starts putting Arks in it, when the door to the room opens and Sonic, Y/N, and Jet come in, followed by Tails, Knuckles, Storm and Wave. The wind of Sonic and Jet's Extreme Gears sends Eggman backwards and the drops the Arks of the Cosmos he was holding, which Sonic and Jet grab. Eggman falls on the computer and gets an electric shock. The master unit for the Arks of the Cosmos is rejected which Wave grabs.

"So this is the master unit."

"System error detected. All commands canceled." Mother computer said.

"My Eggman land plans are in ruins, after all these years!" Eggman whined, clutching his head.

"Deal with it, Eggman! You're through!" Sonic glared.

"Yeah!" Y/N glared.

The ground starts shaking. Knuckles walks up to Eggman and threatens him.

"A trap?! What have you done, Eggman?!"

"Look!" Tails pointed.

Sonic and Y/N turned to the window.

"Babylon Garden..."

The Babylon Garden is seen outside the Crimson Tower.

"The resonance from all 5 power units must have called it down." Wave said.

"Then the legends were right..." Jet said in awe.

Sonic, Y/N, and Jet look at their Arks of the Cosmos. Sonic took off the stone from his wrist as well as Y/N.

"Here..."

They threw their Arks of the Cosmos to Jet. Jet catches them.

"H-Hey! We haven't settled anything yet!"

Sonic gets ready to go.

"Turning tail and running away, Sonic the Hedgehog?"

"Running away? Who do you think I am? I'll be waiting... See you at the World Grand Prix." Sonic grinned before him and his team left, waving Jet.

"Don't be sad, there's always next time." Y/N said, smiling at him. "It was nice seeing you again, Jet the Hawk."

Y/N then walked away with her brother and her friends. Jet is upset.

"Jet, we have other things to take care of. Let's hurry to Babylon Garden."

Jet gives the Arks of the Cosmos to Wave. Wave puts them in a suitcase. The Babylon Rouges looks at Team Heroes. Jet mostly looks at Y/N.

"I suppose we should head home, too." Sonic suggested.

"Hey, Sonic, Y/N. Why do you think the ancient Babylonians sealed away that power unit in the Gigan Rocks?" Tails asked.

"Beats me."

"No idea, but I'm sure there's a reason for this."

"Something's not right..." Tails said, remembering seeing the painting of Babylon Garden in Gigan Rocks. "The lightless black that assaulted the divine wings... And how that robot chasing Amy just exploded... Oh! We can't let those meteorites get near Babylon Garden!"

Everybody looks at Tails. An earthquake occurs. SCR-HD breaks through a window and starts looking for the Arks of the Cosmos. SCR-HD finds them in Wave's suitcase and knocks Wave away to take it. SCR-HD takes off and flies towards Babylon Garden. Sonic looks out the broken window.

"How is that thing still flying?!" Sonic asked.

"Eggman!!" Y/N turned to him, growling.

"I don't know!" Eggman exclaimed.

"Whaaat?!" the hedgehog siblings shouted.

"All I can say is that something nearby is generating a massive electromagnetic pulse. That may have forcibly engaged the program in the robot's buffer!"

Tails, Jet, Knuckles and Storm are standing behind Wave. Tails and Jet help her sit up.

"Sonic, Y/N, the Babylonians weren't able to control the power of those meteorites!"

Everybody is confused. Sonic and Y/N turns to Tails and the others.

"What do you mean?"

"I figured out how they can change gravitational polarity! It's a black hole!! The meteorites amplify gravity to form black holes--that's the lightless black that attacked the divine wings!"

Every part of the Crimson Tower is shaking.

"The power units are resonating together, forming a giant black hole!" Eggman exclaimed in fright.

Everybody are surprised. Jet runs to Sonic and Y/N and three of them look outside.
