Gwen's eyes open, glowing a bright white, and she frowns angrily. She jumps into the water and Dread and his crew, including Sonic looks over the railing as bubbles pops up on the surface. Gwen steadies herself in the water and begins swiveling around, a waterspout forming around her. She rockets upward and erupts from the surface, riding a humongous spinning water vortex.

The Kraken is being overshadowed by the waterspout with Gwen atop the vortex as she hovers above them. Dread looks up in horror as Gwen lands, summoning the water behind her. She brings her hands around behind her head. The water swirls around her, forming a protective circle, before spreading outward, knocking Dread and the crew, including Rusty, off their feet. Dread falls over the edge and shouts in surprise as he lands into the water while the crew falls on their back. Sonic looks up in awe at such power his sister wields as she lands in front of him before collapsing in exhaustion. Sonic comes over to her aid and helps her up, still holding onto the Shard.

"You alright? That's some big water you brought." he asked.

"I'm fine. Really need that." she assured him, smiling and then glaring at the crew.

The crew gets up and flinches at Gwen's intimidating glare as Dread swims up to the Kraken and lands on the deck. Gwen pushes Sonic behind her.

"Dread, what are you doing? This wasn't part of the plan!" he said.

Dread shakes himself off from the water and glares at Sonic.

"The plan's changed when you deserted us."

Before he could attack, Gwen summons a water as they spin around herself and Sonic.

"Touch him and you're dead, Dread." she threatened.

Dread flinches and backs away. Sonic looks at him in disbelief.

"Deserted you? Wait, is that why you're all so mad? Dread, tell them! I was coming right back."

"Yeah, and you said that we can handle this! Does it ring a bell, traitor?!" Gwen added harshly.

"Not how it looked to us." Black Rose glared, pointing a gun at him.

"How dare you?!" Gwen shouted, making her falter.

"You know what? That stings." Sonic frowned. "Especially since I'm standing right here, proving that I did come back!"

"He makes a good point." Batten said.

"See?! Now you believe him?!" Gwen pointed out.

"Look, I'm not a traitor, but right now, me and sis need to take this shard and get— Hey!"

Dread cuts Sonic off and jumps over the water and tries to slam his sword onto him when he zooms away.

"More lies!" Dread glared.

"More like more of your own lies!!" Gwen glared back, kicking him away.

Sonic dodges the crew's hits.

"Respect. My. Boundaries!"

He stops by the door of the tower as Gwen lands besides him.

"I expected Dread to take this hard, but what's with the rest of you?"

"You're a lousy traitor who abandoned your crew in battle!" Sails accused.

"HE DIDN'T ABANDON YOU, YOU FOOLS!! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?!!" Gwen yelled, shaking the ocean with her waterbending and nearly making the crew fall off.

The crew stares at Gwen in shock and at each other, thinking. Gwen is willing to protect her brother, no matter what.

"Dread told me to get the Shard, and he w—" Sonic started.

"He's lying!"

Dread jumps over his crew and lands in front of them, pointing his sword out.

"Now give me the treasure." he demanded.

Gwen glares and stands in front of Dread. He sees that and frowns.

"Gwen, move." he ordered.

"No. That shard is completely making you loose your mind!" she shook her head.

"It is mine!"

"Oh, really? So you care more about that shard than me?"

"I..."

Gwen stands in front of Dread's sword and holds it to her chest, shocking everyone. They gasp loudly at her action, including Dread and Sonic.

"Sis, what are you doing?!"

"Do it." Gwen said, ignoring him.

"W-What?" Dread faltered.

"Kill me! If you want the shard so badly, then try and get through me! It has always been my fate to get killed someday. So what are you waiting for?!" Gwen yelled, tears dripping down her cheek.

Dread stares in horror that she's willing to sacrifice herself for Sonic. His sword shakes coming from his arm as the blade presses itself against her chest, almost piercing her skin. Gwen glares at him, not flinching. He already lost his first mate, he can't lose another. He just... can't do it. He drops down his sword.

"No... Not like this. Just... give me the treasure and I won't hurt you."

Gwen was surprised at this and glanced at the shard and Sonic then to Dread. After a moment, she grabs the shard from him who stares at her in shock.

"Well, when you put it that way." she said, holding up the blue shard.

Dread was surprised at this and goes to take it when she did something unexpected. Gwen holds up the shard with her finger like a basketball and blows a raspberry. She jumps overboard and surfs away with it. Dread and the crew stares in shock that she just did that. Sonic grins and laughs loudly.

"She gets that from me." he said.

He jumps overboard and runs after Gwen, not before saluting them with a wink.

"BYYYEEE!!"

Dread shakes his head and glares.

"After them! Get this bucket of bolts in the air!" he ordered.

"This ship can move, but is too damaged to fly, captain." Rusty explained.

"Until she can do the repairs." Black Rose finished.

"Argh. Prepare the crew. We're taking this thing down." Dread growled.

Sonic and Gwen runs and surfs across the water. Gwen holds the shard close to her, glaring ahead.

"Can't believe I trusted that captain...! Argh!!" she growled.

She hands Sonic the shard who fumbles it.

"Ah! We'll never hit top speed juggling this thing around!"

"Got some ideas then, bro?"

Small islands stand ahead of them. They skid to a stop.

"All this water, it's just not natural." Sonic said, looking down.

"You're just too scared." Gwen joked.

"Hey! And I mean it! I always feel like something's gonna come up out of the darkness and—"

They heard a noise and looked down.

"What is that?" he asked.

Gwen's eyes widen in realization.

"The Kraken!"

The Kraken bursts through the surface, sending Sonic and Gwen flying through the air. They fall on the water and they run and surf again. They made it to the small island and hide behind the palm trees as the Kraken floats. They heard a voice coming from their regulator.

"Nine to Sonic and Gwen! Are you there?" Nine called.

"Nine??" Sonic and Gwen answered back.

"Huh, finally. Tell me you have the Shard."

"Yes, we do." Gwen said.

"You know it! Now we gotta do is get this baby to the void." Sonic said.

"What are you waiting for? You have to hurry. The mothership has been stalled somehow, but it's on its way!" Nine said, sounding worried and in a hurry.

"Shadow..." Gwen voiced, knowing it was him stalling the Chaos Council.

"Haha, we're trying, but we've got a bit of a pirate problem at the moment." Sonic chuckled nervously, looking over at the Kraken.

"We find me treasure or ye all be walking the plank!" Dread threatened, standing on top of the sphere.

Batten and Sails go to the cannons and readies them.

"Ugh, Dread's really losing it." Gwen rolled her eyes.

"Forget the pirates. Our reality is at stake. Stay on mission." Nine reminded.

"Copy that, stay on mission." Sonic nodded.

"We'll be on our way." Gwen nodded.

A shot destroys the palm tree where Sonic is hiding. He looks back to see Catfish that shot it. Catfish flinches in shock and horror that he almost hit Sonic.

"You too, Catfish?" Sonic said in betrayal.

"So disappointed in you..." Gwen shook her head.

Catfish's ears droop down and Froggy takes control of his cannon and starts shooting. Sonic and Gwen runs and skates away off the island. Catfish flinches at every shot Froggy makes. Sonic and Gwen go around rocks and the Kraken chases them.

"You'll never escape with me treasure!" Dread shouted.

"Open fire!" Black Rose shouted.

"Just don't hit me Gwen!!" Dread reminded them.

Batten and Sails fire at Sonic who dodges as he runs. Gwen glares at them over her shoulder and turns and 

Sonic and Gwen picks up speed.

"This totally seemed like it was going to be easy." Sonic muttered.

"Except it's not!!" Gwen growled, making him flinch.

"Get the Shard and run fast, which I'm awesome at—"

"Who are you talking to?!"

"Gyah!" Sonic yelped, nearly dropping the shard.

Shadow appears in a blur.

"I can see you have the Shard. Run faster and get out of there!"

"You don't think we're trying?! We literally have pirates behind our tails!" Gwen shouted in frustration, making Shadow flinch.

"Turns out it's hard to get up to full speed on water. Even with these kicks." Sonic said as they go around rocks again.

Gwen gets the idea and earth bends the rocks towards her for her to grab before launching forward as it hits the cannons that Sails and Batten are using. She then bends up another rock to bring behind her back and breaks the it into her water she summoned and waterbends the broken rock into three blasts, quickly knocking Sails and Batten off the cannons. In slow motion, Dread is hit by the water and manages to stay grounded until the rocks reach him and knock him off the sphere. Dread gets up, looking dazed at the hit. Gwen smirks in victory.

"Like sis said, not to mention having pirates blasting at you!" Sonic continued, giving her thumbs up.

"Then go where they can't blast you." Shadow said.

"We need solid ground. And we know just where to get it!" Sonic grinned. "By the time that ship gets here, we'll be a blip on the horizon!"

Gwen turns and her eyes widens to see a pink laser pointing at Sonic. Shadow deadpans at this.

"What was that about a blip?"

Sonic turns to see Rusty pointing a pink laser at him with her right robot eye.

"Target acquired. Missiles locked."

"You've been nicked, me hearty. And I'm coming for ye." Dread grinned.

A missile fires towards them. Sonic gulps and he and Gwen ducks as it passes just over their nose. Sonic and Gwen runs and surfs on and the missile hits an island. Batten fires again and the two hedgehog siblings dodges every blast.

"You guys are gonna feel really bad about this later when you think back and remember how awful you were treating me, when I'm only trying to help!" Sonic said frantically.

"Oh, they will be!" Gwen growled, glaring at Dread.

"Fire!" Dread ordered, pointing his sword ahead.

More missiles fires from the Kraken.

"Let's just say I'm glad I'm not you guys."

"Same for me!!"

"That guilt's going to be unbearable!"

Sonic and Gwen jumps over the missiles as it blows up an island, sending them flying. Sonic yells along the way. They later bounce on the water.

"Close one." Sonic gasped.

Gwen looks back and gasps.

"Don't jinx!!"

Sonic looks back and yelps as more missiles flies. The two immediately flees.

"Argh, hold still, you slippery eel!" Dread growled.

"The missiles are locked to Sonic's energy signature, captain. He won't be able to outrun them for long." Rusty explained.

The missiles bear down on Sonic. He moves side to side along with Gwen, but the missiles kept following his move.

"Why does everything have to be so difficult?!" Sonic exclaimed.

"It's the Shard, obviously! Why wouldn't it?!" Gwen sassed as they run around the island and back to the Kraken and the missiles follow.

"Fire again!" Dread ordered.

More missiles flies out of the Kraken towards Sonic and Gwen.

"Uh-oh!"

Gwen glares and waterbends as she creates a big bubble around herself and Sonic.

"Uh, what are you doing?"

"Trust me."

Gwen then makes herself and Sonic dive into the water as the missiles hit each other, creating a big explosion. Luckily, they're protected underwater as they look up. Dread and the crew are not so lucky as the explosion throws them back. Sonic and Gwen resurfaces as she unbubbles them.

"Oh, yeah!" Sonic cheered.

He and Gwen then run and surf away again. On the Kraken, everyone stands after the explosion as Dread gets up and places his hat back on.

"Arr! That blue treasure thief will pay for this!" Dread growled. "Thought that hit Gwen gave me was oddly impressive."

He quickly shook his head and ordered his crew to go after them and get his treasure even if it kills them, much to their shock. Sonic and Gwen run and surf around the rocks, leading to the Devil's Lighthouse mountain with the Kraken following behind them on water. The Yolkomotive follows in the air. A side engine fires up. Three missiles speed after Sonic. He and Gwen flips away from them.

"Not even close!" he teased.

"Uh, Sonic!!" Gwen called, looking ahead.

The missiles hit a sharp rock peak.

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!"

Gwen glares and bends out a part of the sharp rock to keep the debris from falling on Sonic.

"Thanks for saving my life, Gwen. You're the bestest sister I ever have." he said in relief.

She smiles and looks ahead and gasps to see a peak falls in front of them. Before she could stop it, Sonic rams into it and the blue shard flies up and back.

"No! The Shard!" Gwen gasped.

"Oh, no." Sonic said.

Rusty's hand grabs it and pulls it in. Dread takes it from her and grins greedily.

"At last."

Catfish, Batten, and Sails stare at him. Sonic glares and jumps to a rock and leaps onto the Kraken while Gwen rides a water vortex and flies up and lands as well. Dread looks at them.

"I'll only ask this once. Give us back the Shard." Sonic said, holding out a hand.

"You'll have to do more than ask." Dread said, jumping down from the tower. "If ye want the Shard you'll have to—"

Dread's sword glows blue just as the blue shard glows and he zaps at Sonic. Gwen jumps in front of him and slides back several feet from the impact of the bolt, yet manages to redirect it, sending it back to right in front of Dread. The resulting explosion causes him to slam into the doors of the tower, where he falls over and raises his head, his face distorted in shock.

"Fight for it?" Gwen finished, getting into her fighting stance.

Dread sighs in defeat and glares back at her.

"Bring it on, Blues."

Sonic holds up his fists while Gwen pulls out her sword. The Roses and the rest of the crew watch. Suddenly, an explosion throws them. Dread drops the shard.

"No!" he gasped.

It falls on the deck as everyone stands up.

"What was that?" Sails asked.

"Captain! We're hit!" Batten said.

The Yolkomotive pulls up besides them.

"No need to fight, boys." Deep said, holding out his swords while the Eggforcers readied their blasters. "The Shard is mine. Destroy them all, every one of them!"

Eggforcers jump onto the Kraken deck. One of them picks up the Shard. Sonic hits it with his spin dash and catches the shard.

"Ha-ha!"

Dread punches him away and takes back the shard.

"Aye."

The Shard powers his sword to zap an Eggforcer apart. The debrief knocks the shard from Dread's hand to an Eggforcer who flies off. Sails hits it with his taser gun and the shard falls onto Catfish who juggles it. An Eggforcer shoves him, making the shard go flying in the air. Froggy hops up and kicks it to Batten. Batten catches it and dodges the blasts.

"Yes." she cheered.

She dodges another blast and drops the shard. Rusty catches it and sets it down between herself and Black Rose as those two fend off Eggforcers. Rusty grabs it again.

"Hyah!"

Deep knocks it away and Gwen quickly catches it. She turns and sees Dread. They scowl at each other and Dread charges and grabs the shard. They face off and starts tugging onto the shard back and forth.

"Give it to me!"

"No! Never! We need this for me and Sonic to restore our home!!"

"I said, give it!"

"No! You listen! That shard is clearly making you loose yourself and your own purpose! What's a captain without a crew?"

Dread freezes and stares at her. In slow motion, Rusty slides back toward an Eggforcer who had its arms raised. Gwen spots her and looks over at Sonic and nods. He nods back and runs over and kicks the Eggforcer away. Seeing her distracted gives him enough advantage to kick her away and holds up the shard with a grin.

"You good?" Sonic asked with concern.

"Thank you." Rusty said, surprising him.

"Uh... you're welcome?"

Deep backs Black Rose against the railing. Sonic knocks him off the deck and he lands roughly on the side engine.

"Ouch!" Deep yelped in pain.

Gwen gets up and finds Catfish, Froggy, Sails, and Batten surrounded by Eggforcers. Sonic and Gwen spins into all of them and Eggforcer debrief rains down. Sonic gives them thumbs up and goes to the Roses along with Gwen.

"We're overmatched." Sonic said.

"'We'?" Black Rose questioned.

"I left you all once, and I'm not making that mistake again." Sonic promised.

"Where's the Shard?" Gwen asked, looking around. "More importantly, where's Dread?"

"There!"

Black Rose pointed ahead to see Dread holding the Shard. He lets out an evil laughter and powers up his sword and zaps two Eggforcers who're behind him. Fighting continues on the Kraken deck. Catfish throws an Eggforcer overboard. Dread holds his sword in his mouth and flies away. Black Rose fights off an Eggforcer and spots Dread.

"Dread is abandoning ship?" she asked, pointing ahead.

"Some captain he is!" Gwen scoffed.

"Gah! The pirate's got the Shard! Get him!" Done It shouted from the Yolkomotive and flew away.

Deep follows after.

"The Shard must not fall into the Council's hands." Rusty warned.

Sonic turns to her.

"But you—"

Black Rose gently grabs his wrist and assures him.

"Will be fine after that rock is gone."

"Thank you for trusting us again." Gwen smiled.

"No, thank you for opening our eyes. Get after him, you two." Black Rose smiled back.

Sonic and Gwen jumps off the Kraken and runs and surfs on the water. They pick up speed to pass Done It and Deep. Dread lands on a rock and looks at the mountain ahead.

"DREAD!!" Gwen yelled.

Dread turns to her and Sonic to see them standing on the rock behind him.

"Is this who you really are?! A coward who abandons his crew?!!" she continued.

"A captain makes sacrifices!" Dread glared back and zapped them.

Sonic and Gwen jumps to another rock.

"Oh, really? The first kind are the true captains, the ones who truly care and the crew can feel that." she said.

Dread stares at her, but then the Yolkomotive starts shooting him and he jumps away from them. Deep hovers in his suit.

"Time to show off my warrior pose."

Deep poses and Dread, Sonic, and Gwen stare. Deep then does another pose as he appears to be doing a hand stand with his feet coming together. They raised their eyebrows at his poses. Deep did another by leaning down, showing out his butt, and Dread, Sonic, and Gwen open their mouths in confusion, looking weirded out. Just as Deep is about to do another pose, Done It stops him, sounding frustrated and impatient.

"Gah! Would you just grow up and attack?!"

Deep turned to the Yolkomotive.

"I'm trying to be dramatic!"

Dread zaps apart of Deep's suit, causing him to fall down as he screams. Sonic and Gwen chuckles at his downfall. Gwen has to give Dread a credit for taking him out since he was being ridiculous and weird. Dread moves on toward mountain, jumping away from the Yolkomotive blasts. Sonic and Gwen follows after him.

"Dread! Where are you going, what's your plan?" Sonic asked.

"I don't need a 'plan'!" Dread said, making a weird face on the word 'plan'. "As long as I've got me beauty!"

"Ugh!!" Sonic and Gwen groaned in unison before spinning up the rock and landing at Dread.

Without the Shard, Dread falls on the island and rolls against the foot of the mountain. Sonic jumps and catches the shard, doing a pose, and lands on the island. Gwen lands besides him.

"Oh, yeah!" Sonic cheered in victory, holding up the shard.

Shots land behind them and Sonic and Gwen runs to the foot of the mountain. Dread looks up to them.

"Sorry, Dread, but we've got a shatter-verse to save."

Sonic runs up the mountain, dodging the blasts. Gwen stares at him for a moment before earthbending a pillar beneath her and moves up after her brother. Dread glares. The Yolkomotive fires at them.

"Ohhh, lemme—"

Done It sends out three Eggforcers. Firing, they fly pasts Sonic and Gwen. They hover ahead of them. Sonic and Gwen spins and knocks them out.

"Oh, if I had my Death Laser."

"Land! Sweet, solid land!" Sonic cheered.

"Focus, Sonic!" Gwen reminded him.

"Oh, right, sorry."

Sonic takes her hand before she could fall and picks up speed.

"Finally, I can get some traction under these kicks! Time to get outta here."

Sonic and Gwen flies up.

"It's working! Yes!"

Just then, a portal opens and the mothership comes out. Sonic and Gwen hits the bottom of the ship and falls back to the mountain and lands on their back.

"Ugh.. Thanks for the head's up, Shadow!" Sonic groaned out sarcastically.

The mothership descends toward Sonic and Gwen. Dread climbs the mountain near the mothership. Sonic and Gwen looks across from the ship's deck to reveal...

"Nine?!" Sonic and Gwen said in unison.

"Sonic, Gwen, get out of here!" Nine shouted.

Eggforcers shot Nine with their tasers, making him yell in pain.

"No!" Sonic gasped.

"Let go of him!" Gwen demanded, eyes glowing white for a second.

"What?! You still have the Shard? Doctors, where are you?" Mr. Doctor Eggman said. "What have you been doing all this time?"

"Oh, cool your jets, sonny!" Done It assured. "Deep's just cleaning up a few barnacles. We'll be there shortly!"

"Gah! Do I have to do everything myself?" Mr. Doctor Eggman groaned in frustration. "Playtime is over. Give me the Shard."

Eggforcers aim their blasters at Sonic and Gwen. Sonic holds the shard close to him while Gwen draws out her sword.

"Make us." Sonic said.

Mr. Doctor Eggman sneered at them. Suddenly, Dread jumps to Sonic and Gwen.

"No, she be mine!" he exclaimed, drawing out his sword.

"Dread!" Sonic shouted in horror.

"No! Get out of the way!" Gwen shouted in horror.

"Shoot the pirate." Mr. Doctor Eggman ordered without hesitation.

An Eggforcer shoots at Dread on the back, causing him to fall. Sonic and Gwen gasps in horror as Dread groans and struggles to get up.

"I said playtime is over." Mr. Doctor Eggman grinned.

The Kraken arrives with Deep aboard who lets out an evil laughter. Eggforcers surround Rusty and the crew with their taser guns pointed at them. The Yolkomotive arrives as well as Done It laughs evilly as well.

"Excellent work, Doctors. It's amazing what my cohorts and I can do when we work together." Mr. Doctor Eggman grinned.

Sonic and Gwen stare at him.

"I'll make this simple. Hand over the Shard, or say goodbye to your friends forever."

Eggforcers points the taser at Nine again as the electric forms around it. Sonic and Gwen looks at Nine who shakes his head. Gwen looks at Dread who stares at her with worry. Sonic and Gwen turns to Rusty.

"Don't. I am expendable." Rusty said before getting tazed by an Eggforcer.

"Well, I'm not! Give 'em the blasted rock!" Batten exclaimed.

"Well? Last chance." Mr. Doctor Eggman said.

Sonic and Gwen looks down at the shard then at each other and nods.

"Fine. When you put it that way." Sonic sighed.

"You win..." Gwen glowered.

"Sonic, Gwen, no!!" Nine exclaimed.

Two Eggforcers fly over to Sonic and Gwen.

"You want the Shard?" Sonic asked.

"You're gonna have to get it yourself!!" Gwen finished and grabbed the Shard.

She then throws the shard over.

"No! Get the Shard! And destroy them!" Mr. Doctor Eggman ordered.

Eggforcers and Sonic and Gwen take off for the Shard. Nine smiles in relief. On the Kraken, Eggforcers lowers their arms. Rusty and Batten hit them. The rest of the crew joins in. Sonic, Gwen, and the Eggforcers chase the falling Shard. Sonic and Gwen lands on the Kraken. Rusty and the crew battle the Eggforcers. The Roses beat up Deep from two sides. Just above the water, the Eggforcer grabs the shard and flies up. Sonic knocks the Eggforcers apart with his spin dash and uses it arms to smack another away and then drops the arms. Gwen slashes off the Eggforcers into pieces with her sword and kicks the head of the Eggforcer towards another as it falls overboard. She spins at Deep.

"Hey, Samurai Dork!"

Deep turned and gulped.

"Oh, no!"

She then knocks him off the Kraken and Deep falls into the Eggforcer and blowing it up. Sonic and Gwen turns to the Roses.

"You two make quite the team." Sonic said, giving them thumbs up.

"Aye, we do." Black Rose smiled.

"Now, if you'll excuse us, we've gotta fly."

Sonic and Gwen drops down on the Eggforcer with the shard and hangs onto its legs.

"Everyone! Get to your stations!" Black Rose ordered as the crew starts up the Kraken.

On the mothership, a center section turns and a beam shoots out, opening the portal.

"Oh, no! The Mothership!" Gwen gasped.

"It's leaving!" Sonic said in realization.

Deep flies above the Eggforcer with the shard and kicks it and catches the shard. He lets out an evil laugh and flies toward the mothership. Sonic and Gwen falls after Deep kicks the Eggforcer down. Just as they're about to brace themselves for a harsh impact, only to land on the deck of the Kraken.

"Need a lift?" Black Rose smirked.

"You know it." Gwen smirked back.

Sonic gives thumbs up again.

"You must stop them, Sonic, Gwen." Rusty said. "If the Council acquires all the shards, total annihilation is inevitable."

"Well, doesn't that sound terrifying." Sonic said sarcastically.

"Sonic, Gwen, look!" Sails called, throwing Gwen a telescope.

She looks into it through the mothership. She spots Dread climbing on it. Gwen pulls away in shock.

"Dread?! What's that idiot doing?!" she exclaimed.

"Dread?" Sonic asked, taking the telescope and looking over.

He pulls away in surprise.

"Oh, man."

The Yolkomotive flies up to the mothership and lands on the deck. Deep stands on the Yolkomotive with the shard as he holds it up with a grin. The Kraken gets closer to the mothership.

"Thanks for the lift!" Sonic said.

"We'll see you soon!" Gwen said.

The two hedgehog siblings then spins off the Kraken and grabs onto the mothership as it goes through the portal. On the Kraken, the Roses look at each other with worry. On the mothership, the Council looks at the three half colored prisoned shards.

"Set a course for New Yoke." Mr. Doctor Eggman said. "We've got a rebellion to quash."

The Council lets out diabolical laughter as the mothership sails through the void. Sonic and Gwen climbs up the outside, gasping. Some distance above them, Dread does the same, gasping and then letting out evil laughter once more.
