Mobius system also contains planets like Planet Wisp that are also visitable.

Thanks to the conflict between the Jedi and the Sith, a proxy war hits Mobius that last for many decades, affecting several humans and Mobians.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Mobian Civil War

War hits Mobius! As the Clone Wars rage across the galaxy, the advanced Outer-Rim planet of Mobius is divided between two factions struggling to hold onto resources that the war keeps cutting off.

The human territories form an alliance with Count Dooku and the Separatist Alliance in order to hold dominance over the planet and the Mobians, droids taking over almost all the planet and begin sieging Mobotropolis.

At the same time, the Kingdom of Acorn's newest ally, the exiled Julien Kintobor, calls Chancellor Palpatine to request aid from the Galactic Republic to liberate Mobius of the droid army.

Palpatine dispatches Anakin Skywalker and Obi wan Kenobi's forces to destroy the Separatist forces there, the planet's energy source of Power Rings critical for future advancements to the Republic.

A team of Jules, Charles, Bernadette, Kito Prower and Orion are tasked with creating a landing zone for Clone forces to arrive at.

And soon the battle for Mobius begins...

In the closing days of the Clone Wars, the Hedgehog family, as well as Kito and Orion, grow increasingly suspicious of Julien Kintobor and what his true intentions were for getting the Kingdom of Acorn allied with the Galactic Republic, which said Republic is getting more corrupt every day as Palpatine gains more and more power.

Charles and Jules are tasked with keeping an eye on Julien to make sure he doesn't have his own secret betrayal planned for the entire planet.

During this time, Jules receives visions of his wife Bernadette dying and tries to get advice from his friends and family on how to prevent it, but everyone tells him they're just nightmares and that his wife will be fine through childbirth.

(Though no one is aware that Palpatine is giving these nightmares just like he's also doing for Anakin at the time)

He then reluctantly asks Julien if there's anything he can do, which the doctor promises he has the technology needed to have Bernadette give safe childbirth.....though he began to manipulate Jules into thinking Orion, Kito and Charles only care about how much power from the war they can keep for themselves.

Upon learning the truth of Palpatine being the one behind the entire Clone Wars and that Julien is one of his scientists, Kito and Orion go to confront Julien and attempt to end his plans before they even start......but Jules stops them in order to save his wife, murdering Orion and knocking Kito to fall to a near fatal end.

Jules reluctantly sides with Robotnik against the Jedi and a budding revolt against the doctor, hoping to get the means he needs.

Around the same time as Order 66, Robotnik executes Protocol EE for his Swatbots, the robot army turning on the Mobian troops they were originally fighting alongside and capturing them for robotization.

Eventually things culminated into a struggle between Jules and Charles, with Jules sustaining fatal injuries and Robotnik putting Jules into robotization.

Bernadette died in childbirth from injuries gained when trying to survive Robotnik's takeover, still able to give birth to Sonic and let him be in Charles' care.

Likewise, Orion's wife met a similar fate and Kito Prower promised to take care of a baby Aura, with Kito also having take care of his nephew Miles "Tails" Prower years later too.

Jules was reborn as Mecha Hedgehog, essentially the Darth Vader underneath Robotnik.

With the kingdom overthrown, Mobius is under the rule of the Galactic Empire!

Emperor Palpatine allows Robotnik to govern over Mobius and experiment on the planet and population to provide weapons and equipment for the Empire

Hence the Robotnik Regime is born!

While Robotnik Regime has direct control over the entire planet, Dr Robotnik still answers to Emperor Palpatine and Lord Vader as they have higher authority than him.

While Swatbots keep the Empire's locations on Mobius protected, Stormtroopers patrol the planet to search for any remaining Mobians that haven't been robotized yet to do manual labor for the Empire.

Mobians live in hiding while humans on Mobius are oppressed by the Empire with heavy taxation and stripping of some people's land and property.

But the Empire's actions on the planet are only becoming fuel for the second half of the war for Mobius.....a war to this time liberate themselves from the Empire and the Robotnik Regime!

A group of freedom fighters in Knothole are building to start causing trouble for the Empire, maybe even someday aligning themselves with other rebellions.

As this is happening, Charles prepares Sonic to be able to control his speed for when he's old enough to handle action, with Kito doing the same for Aura in his Force training.

Star Wars Freedom Fighters

It is a time of tension as division against the Empire spreads across the galaxy between worlds like Lothal, Onderon, Alderan and many more.

Among these worlds in defiance is Mobius as various groups of small rebel cells, both human and Mobian, ruin many facilities and projects being worked on by the Empire's science proxy: The Robotnik Regime.

Unfortunately, the Empire and Robotnik's grip on their world remains firm as Stormtroopers hunt down any groups while Swatbots security measures foil majority of the rebellion's sabotage attempts.

Though Knothole is about to gain their own "new hope" in the most unlikely allies possible.....
