Sonic, Y/N, and Infinite land on the ground after leaping out of the Central Tower following destroying the Phantom Ruby reactor. They wave to the incoming Tails and Classic Sonic.

"We did it! Eggman's army's is officially butt-kicked! We won!" Sonic cheered.

Tails and Classic Sonic noticed Infinite beside Y/N.

"Who's that guy?" Tails asked.

"Oh, um... His name is... uh..." Y/N stuttered.

"Zero. My name is Zero. It's my real name..." Zero said, muttering the last words to Y/N.

Y/N and Sonic were surprised that Zero is his real name as Sonic finds it odd for that name while Y/N smiles, liking that name.

"Zero... It suits you."

Zero blushes.

"Nice to meet you, Zero." Tails smiled while Classic Sonic nodded at him with thumbs up.

Sonic attempts to fist bump Y/N along with Infinite who hesitates, but they are interrupted by a small earthquake. Y/N quickly grits her teeth and scowls as they look around for the source of the interruption, unaware of a large, inhuman mech rising out of the crater behind them.

"What the?!" Zero exclaimed.

"Oh, come on! Now what? Can't we ever just win and have that be the end of it?"

"I'm getting tired of this..." Y/N groaned.

"Look!" Tails said, pointing at something behind them.

Dr. Eggman emerges with a giant Death Egg Robot.

"Gotcha! The fortress reactor was just a decoy. A true winner always keeps his trump card hidden until the end."

"Sonic, what's going on? There aren't less enemies! There's MORE!" Vector called over the radio.

"What?" Tails exclaimed in shock.

"But that's impossible!" Zero exclaimed.

"How could there be so many?" Amy asked over the radio.

"Confirmed sightings indicate Shadow, Metal Sonic, Zavok, Chaos, Infinite... Thousands of them!" Rouge spoke.

Zero looks at Y/N with wide eyes that Eggman can create a version of himself, but with a mask on.

"What have you done!?" Sonic shouted.

Classic Sonic grits his teeth in anger.

"You monster! You trickster!" Zero shouted.

"Mwa-hahaha! I merely incorporated the Phantom Ruby into this Death Egg Robot." Eggman laughed.

"But that means the Phantom Ruby no longer has a vulnerable energy supply. It's an invulnerable ruby?" Tails asked.

"A good deduction, Tails. This Death Egg Robot has... No, I have surpassed Infinite to become the complete and ultimate form. You will be crushed by this Death Egg Robot powered by the Phantom Ruby..."

The Sonics, Y/N, and Zero get into battle stances.

"..and in the end everything will still be just as I planned!"

Dr. Eggman cackles maniacally and sends out a powerful energy wave at his adversaries, nearly knocking them off-balance. Sonic steps forward.

"Your plan will end like all your plans do: with you sitting in a pile of busted robot parts wondering how you failed so badly. Let's get him."

Sonic, Classic Sonic, Y/N, and Zero charge at the Death Egg Robot.

Y/N and Zero glare at the Death Egg Robot as Sonic and Classic Sonic separate to different direction in case the robot tried to escape.

"He's overclocking the Phantom Ruby! That's insane!" Tails yelled over the radio.

"No regular tool can damage it now!" Rouge spoke. "You're our last chance."

"This is it. Let's finish this so I could get Eggman out of my hair." Zero said in determination.

Y/N was about to step forward when she suddenly started to feel a little dizzy. Zero noticed this and quickly held her.

"Whoa. You okay?"

"Sorry... I just feel overwhelmed..."

"Hey, Y/N? You alright? I thought there's something wrong with you." Amy asked over the radio.

"Yeah, you good?" Knuckles asked.

"I'm fine. It's just... We're so close to winning, but can I really do this?" Y/N asked, wrapping her arm around Zero who looks at her in concern.

"Relax..." Shadow spoke. "Stay vigilant. It's not over yet."

"Shadow..." Y/N said softly, making Zero scoff at Shadow's advice.

"You've got this!" Tails spoke.

"Keep your head on straight, Y/N!" Vector spoke.

"Our future hangs in the balance!" Silver spoke.

"Please! Come back in one piece!" Amy spoke.

"We're counting on you." Espio spoke.

"Smash 'em all to pieces!" Knuckles spoke.

"Even you should be able to pull that off." Shadow spoke, making Y/N smile with a hint of blush on her cheeks.

Zero rolls his eyes, feeling jealous of Shadow.

"Guys... I'm so lucky to have friends like them... So much like the ones waiting for me back home..."

"Yeah... Sometimes I wish I have friends..." Zero said, looking down as if reminded of his Jackal Squad.

Y/N immediately grabbed his hand and made him turn to her.

"You already have."

Zero then couldn't help but tear up and hug her. This surprised her and she hugged him back.

"So... you're not from here, huh?"

"Yeah. Somehow I was teleported here for a reason."

"Well, I'm glad you came."

"Me too."

Zero and Y/N then pulled away and faced the Death Egg Robots as it crashes to the floor where Zero and Y/N are standing. Looks like Classic Sonic took care of that robot. Now it's their turn.

"Ready?" Y/N asked.

"Yeah."

Death Egg Robot slowly got up and saw Zero and Y/N glaring at it.

"Go on, Y/N! I know you can do this!" Vector spoke over the radio.

"Our fate is in your hands!" Silver spoke.

Y/N and Zero dodges the rockets the robot had blasted. The robot raises its giant right hand and punched the floor. This gave them a chance as Y/N uses her grappling hook and kicks the red spot on its chest as Zero helps her out. The Death Egg Robot flinches back from the hard impact which they now know where its weak spot is. It summons robots while blasting out more rockets towards Y/N and Zero.

They quickly dodge them while destroying robots before the Death Egg Robot smashed its fisr again on the floor as red circles comes out. They jumped over and Y/N brought out her grappling hook and move toward the red core on its chest and hit it again. Zero punches and kicks off the robots fist, causing it to pull away. The giant robot blast more rockets and Y/N flipped over it as Zero kicks them off. Death Egg Robot brought down its fist again on the ground and Y/N quickly jump over the red circles and hits the red core once more, causing it to move further away from the impact. Zero and Y/N look at the robot when it suddenly crashes the floor with its fisf again, but harder as the floor collapsed.

"Whoa! Watch out!"

It then brought out lasers from its eyes, destroying more floor. Zero and Y/N moved away from it.

"This Doctor is crazy!!"

"I know!"

It brought out more lasers towards them as they dodge them again, but Y/N accidentally slipped and was about to fall off the broken floor. Zero quickly catches her hand.

"Hold on!"

Just as he was about to pull her up, Y/N saw the robot brought out rockets again.

"Zero!"

He turned a little too late to see the rockets exploded before him and he fall off with her! Zero and Y/N are about to fall to their death. But then a miracle came as someone caught Zero's leg.

"Need a lift?"

They looked up to see Gadget.

"Gadget!" Y/N exclaimed in joy.

"Hang on."

Gadget quickly brought them back up as much strength as possible and finally got them back to the floor.

"You came! How?"

"I got a call from Tails about needing some backup. I brought a few friends of mine." Gadget said.

He pointed at the other two Mobians. There's a female pink cat and a male blue-green bird as they shoot the Death Egg Robot with their wispon, distracting it while dodging a few more rockets that attempt to blast them off.

"Come on! Let's not waste time! I don't know how long they can hold it."

"Right!"

They charge at the robot. Zero and Gadget help out those two people and took down the robots that have been summoned again that are in their way. Y/N brought out her grappling hook and zoom towards the red core on its chest and hit it a few more times. The Death Egg Robot is now down as it move further back and it started smoking.

"Yes! We did it! Great job, gang!" Y/N cheered, turning to the new group.

"Yeah, we did!" Female Pink Cat cheered.

"Thanks for the save." Zero said.

"No problem." Gadget said.

The Death Egg Robot then went limp. When they thought it is finally over, something is trying to break out as it broke out the red glass to reveal an open circle core as it kept on crashing. It then reveal to be a hideous tentacle three headed white alien-like robot.

"What in the heck?!" Gadget exclaimed.

"What is that?!" Male Blue-Green Bird asked in shock.

All of the sudden everything starts glitching and Y/N found herself in the dark blue cube area along with Sonic and Classic Sonic as they are now facing another robot that's part of Death Egg Robot.

The alien-like robot is charging up the Phantom Ruby before roaring at them.

"End this, Sonic! Defeat him!" Knuckles spoke over the radio.

"Go for it, Sonic!" Amy spoke.

Sonic, Classic Sonic, and Y/N run towards the robot and jumped over the laser that was blasted a few times before they boosted themselves together to go faster as they are now close to the robot as they dodge another laser until they spin dashed the robot in the face that's in the middle. They landed back down the cube floor and jumped again before the three headed robot blast out more lasers. Sonic spin dashed the face in the middle, Classic Sonic spin dashed the right, and Y/N spin dashed the left.

They then landed again as they keep on going while dodging the lasers. Once they're close to the robot, they did the same thing like they did the first try. The three headed robot then blasted out fire. The three hedgehogs avoided it, trying not to get burned before they boosted themselves and spin dashed the three headed robot again in the face before hitting the other two. They landed again as the robot bring out more fire. Y/N was starting to get tired of that and did a few trick in her sleeve as she check to see she can still activate the crystal power as her hands glowed white and she then took out the all the fire, leaving some sparkles.

"Whoa! Nice!"

"That should do it! Let's hurry while we still can defeat that thing!"

Sonic and Classic Sonic nodded and they boosted again. Once they got close, they all spin dashed three heads of the robot. It's now starting to get weak and they just need to bring out their final blow. The three headed robot brought out its tentacle claw and start shooting it towards them. They quickly moved out of the way as more blasted out along with the lasers. Y/N quickly activate the shield around them as the laser didn't burn through the shield. They then got close to the robot again and spin dashed their faces. Just one more blow.

Sonic, Classic Sonic, and Y/N kept on going as the shield was already set up around them as they run without worrying about the lasers that tried to burn them again. They then spin dashed the robot's faces one last time as it's now down. Sonic, Classic Sonic, and Y/N jumped up high together.

"There is nothing the three of us can't achieve together!" Sonic said. "Victory is ours for the taking!"

They are now flying and they all spin together into another cool combine power.

"TRIPLE BOOST!!!"

With one last spin, they shot through the robot in the eye in the middle and through the body. It is finally down and the robot parts exploded into pieces.

As the shattered shards of the destroyed core of the Death Egg Robot rain down around the battlefield, the Eggman Army replicas begin to disappear as the Resistance continues blasting away as many as they can. Soon, they are all gone, leaving the Resistance forces standing alone and victorious.

"Alright! We won!" Knuckles cheered.

The Resistance begin to celebrate.

"I knew we'd do it!"

The Chaotix nod in agreement.

"Piece of cake." Rouge smiled.

Shadow looks back at Rouge and smirks. Silver flies high into the air.

"Yeah!"

Amy gives Silver a thumbs up.

"We did it!"

A dog Resistance trooper helps pick up a wolf Resistance trooper.

"Are you okay?"

"Thanks. Woohoo. We did it!"

"Alright!" Bear Resistance Trooper cheered.

"Yes!" Female Cat Resistance Trooper cheered.

Zero, Gadget, and the other two jumped down from the building, joining everyone and cheering for victory as well. Gadget hugged his two friends while Zero just smile that everything is all over. The entire Resistance cheers for a job well done and ultimate victory over the Eggman Empire. Shadow noticed Zero and glared. Zero took notice it and just rolled his eyes, not bothering to deal with him. Surprisingly, Shadow said nothing nor said his well used to be evil name and just let him be. But he's going to keep an eye on him, just in case.

The core Resistance members are gathered, facing Classic Sonic. Classic Sonic begins to fade.

"I guess this is good-bye. Get home safely, Sonic..."

Classic Sonic and Tails shake hands.

"...and thanks for everything!"

Classic Sonic gives Tails a thumbs up and a smile. He looks at the others, who also bid him farewell. Before leaving, Classic Sonic extends his arm to fist bump Tails and fades away smiling and waving. Tails weakly tries to grab him before he leaves but is too late. Sonic walks up and puts his hand on Tails' shoulder. Y/N joins them and pats Tails' head to comfort him.

"Cheer up, Tails, I'm sure we'll run into him again." Sonic said and turned around to face the other Resistance members. "Alright, guys! It's time we cleaned up the mess Eggman left this world in, and I'm not talking about those illusions he dreamed up for us! We need to fix the real world we all live in."

The Resistance members nod and show signs of agreement.

"True dat!" Tails said.

Y/N nods.

"Yep!"

"C'mon, let's go!"

The Resistance members cheer.

"Yeah!"

Zero stands besides Y/N who gave him a smile and place her hand on his shoulder.
