Vampire!Scourge X Reader

Vampires were real, but no one believed you. You were called the town's crazy lady. But you knew who they'd run to the moment a vampire arrived. You knew you were right.

Vampires were real, there was no question. But how to prove you were right, there was no answer to that. You groaned loudly and hit your head against your messy desk. There were papers spread all over the wooden desk and the wall in front of it, the papers were even on the floor, and you had an over-flowing bin.

"How can I prove them wrong..." You mumbled, pulling at your (f/c) ears.

Your candle blew slightly, growing smaller from the breeze from the open window. You sighed and moved it from the draft, it was way too hot to close the windows, but since it was dark, you needed the candle.

Have to love towns.

You took a breath, accidentally submerging yourself in darkness. You yelped and quickly lit it again, looking around at the shadowy room.

"Jesus (Y/N)... You'll get yourself killed for sure..." You put the candle down. The scribbles on your desk were starting to get muddled up, "Well... Time for a walk."

You stood, walking out of your straw house and down the dirt street. It must have been really late, maybe 8 or 9, since everyone's lights were off.

Good, it would be quiet then.

You walked around the dirt town quietly, taking in all the straw and stick houses, wondering if these idiots will ever make stronger buildings. They'd need to if Vampires ever planned on taking over. Sticks and straw won't stop those monsters from breaking down your door.

You sighed and pulled out a messy note-book from under your coat, reading it in the moonlight even though you knew every word.

'Vampires, hideous beasts, probably twice the size of us mobians, and long fangs to rip out the throat of their victims. Covered in lots of long fur. Red eyes, and a long gross tongue.'

You smiled at your first entry, the very first image you got of a vampire.

'Correction, that's a werewolf. Will need to do more research on those after I prove Vampires exist. These idiot villagers don't know what's out there...'

You rolled your eyes, you doubt they ever will know, because they don't listen. Yet they use your 'scary monsters' as stories to frighten the children into coming in before dark. It's a mockery of your research.

'I have reason to believe that vampires look similar to us, but something doesn't seem right about this... They will still have the fangs and red eyes. They will be taller and more slim, it will look unnatural but also somewhat mobian. Like a fault in their growth. But they live forever. And I believe they hiss like cats...'

This was one of your best ideas. It made sense, you even had suspicions that one of the village elders was a Vampire. He was the oldest and the crankiest, he acted like he knew everything, and who would know everything? Vampires, because they lived in a time before everyone else ever did.

Looking around you noticed you were in the forest. You walked to your favourite spot, sitting on a large rock and flipping through the pages of your research journal.

'I was wrong. Vampires are tiny demons, they are nothing like us. They fly around screeching and bite at your neck and get stuck in your fur. They sleep during the day, flying around at night. I am finally getting somewhere.'

Bats... You sighed at the memory. You had once believed bats were evil vampire-like creatures until someone had the urge to crush your theory before you could even attempt research. You were quick to rip that page out and throw it to the ground. That was an embarrassing moment you wanted to forget.

'I was right the first time!' Your next entry read, 'They are large creatures, they have long fangs, but their eyes aren't red, they are fully black! They look like Hell's demons... I saw one in the forest the other night! It was biting into the neck of a doe. It growled at me, maybe there was hissing too. I'm not too sure. It was weird... But maybe it doesn't drink Mobian's blood, maybe vampires just prey on animals. Maybe we'll be safe. Maybe we could even eat them!'

And below that was a quick sketch of what you had seen. It was a hairy monster, hunched over slightly on it's hind legs. It's claws were long just like it's fangs, and it had rather sharp looking spikes on it's back. It had a long snout too. It looked misshapen, almost animalistic.

Maybe it was the werewolf. But again, you were focusing on Vampires first, so if it was then you were back to square one with the Vampire look.

A twig snapped behind you and you heard a curse. You jumped and turned around, ears twitching and (e/c) eyes scanning the area. Was someone watching you? If so, then why?

No one was there, just a broken twig. You sighed and turned back to your book, skimming through the rest of your pages.

"You know you're describing bats here right...?" A voice made you jump again and you whipped around, staring into the sky-blue eyes of a green hedgehog. He looked bored as he held the ripped piece of paper in your hands, "Vampires don't take other forms, and are certainly aren't bats..."

"Yeah I know..." You grumbled, before your ears perked, "Wait, you know about vampires?"

"Well I'd hope so..." The hedgehog stepped forward, snatching the journal from your hands, "What other dreadful things do you have about us in here...?"

"Hey! That's mi- Wait what?" You reached for the book, but froze, staring at him. Did he say 'us'...?

He glanced at you and smirked, fangs glinting in the light, "What? You clearly haven't seen a Vampire before... And yes, this is a werewolf."

He held up your final entry in the journal, the one with the sketch. Your cheeks turned red and you huffed.

"I didn't know that! Wait, how did..."

His smirk widened, "You look very muddled... Maybe even faint..?"

You tilted your head, confused, before he snatched you in his iron-grip, the strength in his hold almost crushing your wrist. He leant down to your shoulder, taking a deep breath.

"Mm.. Don't you smell sweet... I take it you want answers yes? Well I'm willing to give them, but I'll want something in return..." You squeaked as he licked the base of your neck, squirming in his hold.

"N-No way!" You tried to elbow him in the side, but his reflexes were quicker. He had you pressed down against the large rock you had sat on moments before.

"Relax cupcake... I don't want that." He chuckled, "One thing you seem to know about Vampires, we crave blood."

You stared up at him, feeling cold, "S-So you... You want to... To kill me...?"

"No, I just want a taste... I haven't eaten for a while." He leant over you, tilting his head, "What do you say, hm? You can finally know everything right about us Vampires..."

The thought of knowing what it was you had researched for so long sounded amazing, but you didn't like the Vampire's request. How did you know he wouldn't kill you the moment he told you everything? All that research, everything to warn your village would be for nothing.

"No it won't..." He rolled his eyes, "I'm not going to kill you, if I wanted to, I would have already."

You blinked, "You can read minds?"

"Only ones we choose to read. Otherwise I'd always have a headache..." He stood, pulling you up, "So, do we have a deal?"

"That depends, information or blood first?" You stared up at him. He was definitely taller than a normal Mobian, but not too much that it was noticeable. You just had an eye for anything different.

But looking at him now you realised he looked just like a normal Mobian. His eyes were blue. His fangs only noticeable when he smiled or purposefully showed them off. He seemed to be built normally, not too thin and there was no hissing like you had assumed.

"Hm... I suppose I could give you the information first, if that puts you at ease." He rubbed his chin, "So you better sit down."

You nodded and sat back on the large rock, crossing your legs and staring up at him.

"Now, will you remember all this? Maybe you should right this down under that sketch hm?" He chuckled a little at your flushed face.

"I didn't know it was a werehog okay...?" You grabbed your pencil and took the journal from him, "Okay, start..."

He nodded, "Right. Well, as you can tell, yes we are nocturnal. That was right from the start. And yes, we drink blood. But we do not kill unless we want to or it is necessary. Don't worry cupcake, I see that look. I'm not going to kill you."

You nodded quickly and wrote down his words.

"Anyway, us Vampires are a special race. I believe we are made to be... Handsome in the eyes of mortal. So yes, we do also live forever. That was right too."

"Right..." You stuck your tongue out. Man he talked fast, "Wait, only handsome? Are there no female Vampires?"

"Nope. We're a predominantly male species. A female has only ever happened... Well... Never. So yes, just male."

"But... How do you..."

"Reproduce? Are you sure you want to know?" He gave you an amused look, "Well... We have our handsome looks to lure mortal women like you, we seduce them and give them our offspring. If you know what I mean..."

"Uh... I think so..."

"Yes, well anyway, normally the offspring's birth kills the mortal, since it needs blood, it tends to harm his mother during the whole pregnancy. Once it finally emerges, well, normally by then the female has died, or is about to. It's rather unfortunate..."

Your ears lowered slightly, "That's horrible!"

"Yes well as a vampire you learn not to get attached to the mortal, death is always the outcome of birth."

"Oh... Well how many... Sons.. Do you have...?" You stared up at him.

"Too many to count, I stopped keeping track about... A decade ago." He shrugged, crossing his arms, "Honestly it's a waste of mortals and food."

"Then why do it...?"

He chuckled, shaking his head, "Anyway cupcake, aside from that, Vampires do their best not to get attached to their mortals, however now and then, it unfortunately happens. But that may be why we are seen as cruel and cold-hearted."

"Right..." You continued to write this down, surely now everyone will believe you, with this much information, how could they not?

"Now, garlic doesn't hurt us, however the sun does burn our skin. A stake to the heart can kill anyone and the same with beheading." He smirked slightly, "I hope you don't plan on wiping us out, I'd have to kill you now if you were."

Your eyes widened and you shook your head, "No way, I've been dreaming of the day I meet a Vampire, you guys could control the world if you wanted to!"

"Well, we do have enough strength..."

"Yeah, I felt that..." You rubbed your arm.

"Right, well I believe that's all. So now for your end of the deal..." He smirked more and stepped forward, his fangs growing in length.

Your eyes widened more and you shuffled back, "Does... Does it hurt...?"

"Only if I want it to..." He lunged forward.

You closed your eyes tightly, flinching at the feeling of two pinched to your neck. At first there was a searing fire of pain, but it disappeared as soon as it came. Instead, it was replaced with...

You couldn't explain it. You felt high, on cloud nine, like nothing could touch you. You also felt dizzy, and your vision of the stars started to disappear.

"And one more thing..." The hedgehog mumbled as he pulled away, "Though you won't turn into a Vampire... The bite marks you as my own. So now I own you..."

"Wh... What...?" Your eyes fluttered as you stared at him.

He only smiled, an evil smile that seemed almost demonic with the blood on his fangs.

"Good night (Y/N)..."
