No one knew how it happened, it was just so sudden. You had only been together for a month, but since Sonic is all about speed, things escalated pretty fast and...

Well...

You were pregnant.

And not only that, but you had a heap of enemies too.

So you were doing absolutely fantastic.

Sonic was currently holding your hair back as you leant over the toilet, rubbing your back absent minded-ly. He was still in shock. Everyone was. Who wouldn't be?

"I'm sorry..." Sonic mumbled behind you as you threw up again. It's all he had been saying.

You tried to say something back but felt no need. What was there to say? 'It's fine, totally wanted a baby' just didn't seem right. And it wasn't right. You weren't ready to have children, no way in the world are you prepared for this.

You didn't even want children.

And yet here you are. Throat burning and losing friends by the second.

"J-Just get me some water..." You mumbled, holding your head.

The hedgehog nodded and ran off, coming back moments later with a cool glass of water. You sipped it slowly, just wanting to get rid of the taste of bile from your mouth. There was a rapid knock at the front door, and you wondered who it could be this time.

All your other friends had already visited and, mostly shunned you, others said they'd be there for support, but you could tell they were just saying that to sound like good friends.

The one person you didn't want it to be was Amy. Boy she would kill you.

"I'll get it..." Sonic rubbed your back, "You stay here.."

He ran to the front door, and you tried to watch from the bathroom, but there was a wall in the way. Turning back to the toilet you screwed your nose up and flushed it, standing and washing your hands. At least you felt better now.

You quickly brushed your teeth, making sure to get rid of the putrid taste and smell of sick. Sonic seemed to be taking a while, maybe it was one of your kind friends. You sighed, you had better go out there, you needed to talk to him about this anyway.

Walking down the hall, you could suddenly hear shouting. But it wasn't in the house, it was outside. You hurried into the sunlit day to see the very pink hedgehog you didn't want to come across standing there, holding her hammer.

There was fire in her eyes.

Sonic stood in front of her, trying to calm her down. You walked over slowly, eyeing your former best friend with caution as you stepped behind Sonic.

"You..." The pink hedgehog growled, "How could you..?!"

Your ears lowered, you were expecting this, but it still felt weird to see her angry with you.

"Amy listen please... I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen." You started, but she threw her hammer at you. Sonic grabbed you and jumped out of the way.

"Hey! Cool it Ames.." Sonic huffed, clearly now annoyed, "She's meant to be your best friend, leave her alone."

"If she was my best friend then she wouldn't have slept with my crush!" Amy yelled, still glaring at you.

You lowered your gaze to the ground, muzzle a warm red.

"She can do as she pleases, whether she did or not wouldn't have changed anything between us Ames, I've told you before, you are like my sister, no more, so why can't I like another person?"

"She's my best friend! What did you think would happen?!" The hedgehog in front of them sniffed, tears started falling down her muzzle, "You should have known!"

Sonic stopped, staring at her. She was right, he knew they were friends, he knew Amy liked him, he didn't even consider their friendship when he asked (Y/N) on that date. And he definitely didn't expect it to go as far as it did.

He still thinks it was the best date ever.

Just don't tell anyone that.

"Amy please... I'm sorry..." You stepped forward again, "I didn't mean anything by it... I didn't think... I am at fault, I know, but..."

You sighed, why would she listen? She was obsessed with Sonic, has been forever and you knew that. Of course she'll be mad. She has every reason to be.

"Yeah... You're at fault... Both of you are..." The pink hedgehog sniffed again, wiping her cheek, "Don't talk to me again (Y/N)... Ever..."

And she ran off, covering her face. You looked down again, your ears pressed against your head. You just lost another friend, your best friend. What more could happen?

Sonic put a hand on your shoulder, "I'm sorry (Y/N)... I didn't mean for all this..."

"It's okay..." You mumbled, "It's not your fault..."

You pushed his hand off your shoulder, before walking back inside. You didn't feel sick, but you still locked yourself in the bathroom, sitting against the wall.

One time. It was one time. But that's all it takes, isn't it?

You covered your head, most of your friends had left you, most you didn't properly understand, but Amy it was obvious.

Yet...

You couldn't help feeling mad.

Your friends have disappeared when you needed them most, your best friend wouldn't even listen to reason. She knew Sonic didn't like her, she knew you had a thing for him to, you both joked about getting with him.

And when it finally happened... It wasn't a joke anymore.

You took a deep breath, who cares? It wasn't their choice, you can do as you wish. But... you were still pregnant, with no clue of how to even raise a child.

"(Y/N)...?" A light knock rapped on the door, "Can we talk about this? Please?"

You sighed and stood, opening the door, "Yeah... We better."

Now, with two hot chocolates on the coffee table and a hedgehog and (a/t) on the couch, you both talked about your... Predicament.

"You don't need to have it if you don't want to..." Sonic started, a hand on your knee, "I looked up what we could do, and the easiest option was... Abortion..."

You looked up from your lap. Abortion? You could see the look in Sonic's eyes, he hated the idea, and you weren't entirely fond of it either.

"No... It wouldn't be right..." You took his hand, "Look, I just have one question Sonic, and I want you to be honest..."

He faced you, his ears perked slightly and he nodded.

"I just... You won't leave will you...? I mean, I can't control what you do but... I can't do this alone... I need someone there, and... There is a reason I said yes to... That date."

He blinked, clearly shocked you asked such a question, "(Y/N)... I had no intention of leaving you, first of all I love you, and I knew that when... Everything happened. I wasn't too fussed over what happened, but seeing you so upset over this, I can promise you now, I'm not leaving your side. And I never will, it's the last thing I ever want to do."

You were close to tears. You hugged him tightly, relieved that you had at least someone there to help you.

"Well... If that's the case... Then lets go through with it... We can learn everything we need to in the next 9 months, we can prepare ourselves the best we can... Can you do that?"

"I would happily do that..." You felt his arms wrap around you, "I love you (Y/N)..."

~A FEW MONTHS LATER~

It seemed like everyone on Mobius knew you were pregnant. But it's not like it wasn't obvious, with the clear baby-bump you now had, and Sonic sticking to your side no matter where you went. He had to, he had no clue what would happen to you if you were by yourself.

And the fan-girls hated you. They tried to bully you by calling you names, and at first it was hard, but now you just smiled and told them they had no chance with the hero of Mobius anyway.

Yeah... You may have turned into a bitch.

But Sonic still loved you. And he had meant everything he had said those few months ago. He was there to stay.

Of course Amy still wouldn't speak to you. You'd see her now and then in town, and whenever your eyes connected, she'd turn her nose up in a huff and waltz off.

It didn't phase you anymore, you knew she'd either get over it or never talk to you again. Either way you were fine with the outcome.

You were having another hot chocolate, sitting on the couch and watching TV when Sonic walked into the room, kissing your head.

"How are you feeling today? No hate from anyone I hope?" He sat next to you, holding a cup of tea.

"Not on my social media, but Gods know what they are saying in town."

"They'll get over it, you know they are just jealous, and besides. Most people ignore them anyway."

"That's true..." You leant into him, nuzzling into his blue fur.

He purred and wrapped an arm around you, rubbing your swollen tummy.

"I can't wait for Sonic Junior to finally arrive."

"Excuse me?"

"Don't like that name?"

"Of course not! We agreed on Maurice."

"But that's my middle name!"

"And (m/n) is mine. We agreed on that too."

"Yeah yeah... Okay..."

"Sonic Junior... My Gods..."

"What? It's a classic!"

Oh Gods I realize just how shit this chapter is XD I apologise, if anything I was laughing and shaking my head while reading it.
