You where walking through the park, the wind blowing your (H/C) hair in your eyes. It was a cold day so you pulled your (F/C) jacket over your shoulders. 

As you walked down the street, you heard what sounded like a motorbike, driving next to you. You look to see who it was, only to see Shadow the Hedgehog watching you.

"Hey Shadow." You said.

He rolled his eyes and turned off the motor, "Say it again?"

"Hi." You said again.

"What are you doing out here in the cold?" He asked you.

"I was going for a walk, to clear my mind." You stated, staring at his ruby red eyes. The wind was still blowing your hair in your face, so you tried your best to keep it tame, only to have no such luck.

"Same here, what where you clearing?" He leaned on the handles of his bike.

"Nothing much, just school work, it blocks my mind, I hate it." You grumble. He gave a deep chuckle and your heart skipped a beat, he never did that, and yes, you liked him, a lot.

"So, you decided to go for a walk in the cold?" He smirked.

"Well, yeah. Your on your motorbike in the cold." You said, "Well, I better let you go."

You started to walk off, and his bike started up. As he went passed he gave a small wave and disappeared around the corner.

You sighed as you continued to walk home, it was getting late, and the sun was already nearly gone. As you walked, you got a sense that someone was following you, so you looked back, and no one was there.

You continued to walk until you heard footsteps behind you. You picked up the pace but walked into someone else.

"Oh, sorry." You said as you rubbed your head. You looked up to see the person looking at you, the other caught up and the surrounded you. You trembled as you thought about what is going to happen, nothing good, that's for sure.

You stood up and looked at both of them. You tried to kick one in the shin but the other grabbed your arm and dragged you into the ally. The second one covered your mouth so you couldn't call for help. You tried to kick as you thrashed around but you couldn't reach them.

As they dragged you deeper into the ally you grew more frantic to escape, but they had a tough grip, and they wouldn't budge, great. A few tears fell as you grew tired, until you heard a gunshot and one of the men cried out.

Someone had shot him in the arm, the other gave a low growl and held a gun to your head. You started crying as he threatened to pull the trigger.

"Don't move, or she gets it." he kneed you in the back and you let out a sob.

Another gun shot went off and the guy holding you let go, holding the hand that had the gun in it. He started running, deeper into the ally, as he climbed the wall and escaped. The second followed after as you sat there, shaking and crying.

"Are you alright?" The familiar deep voice asked you.

You shook your head and looked up at him, Shadow, his eyes where full of worry as he picked you up, bridal style. He walked out to his motorbike, which was parked in front of one of the stores, and he rode you home.

You had fallen asleep on his lap on the way, so he carried you inside, and stayed the night. When you woke up, you saw him on the couch, and smiled. You made him breakfast and woke him up.

"Hey Shadow, here." You handed him the plate and he happily took it.

"So, are you okay?" He asked again.

"Yeah, I am now. Why did you save me?" You asked.

"Cause, I couldn't stand seeing you get hurt." You blushed as he said this. He moved closer and smiled, "You want to know why?"

You nodded and he kissed you, "Because I love you." So you two sat there for the rest of the day, talking and finally going for a ride on his motorbike, best day ever.
