3rd POV:

Sonic and his friends have managed to restore the Chaos Emeralds and the planet moved back into place, they also rescued the elder and freed the phoenix from Dark Gaia's control.

After that, they decided to return to Spagonia in the university, to tell the professor about their progress and plan the next location.

Pickle: Aww if it isn't Sonic and Y/n. I see you have restored the other piece of the planet.

Sonic: Yes we did!

Pickle: I'd love to see the look on Eggman's face right about now. Speaking of that menace, it appears he's become quite active as of late.

Y/n: Huh active? What do you mean?

Professor: I've heard reports of strange robot sightings here and in Chun-nan.

Sonic, Chip, Tails, and Y/n: What?!

Professor: Yes. It gives me the chills just to think of it. See what you guys can find out.

Sonic: We're on it, professor!

Y/n: I guess we go back to this continent Entrance Stage right?

Sonic: Yeah.

Chip: But before we do that, I'm really hungry. Can't go on without an empty stomach.

Tails: Yeah can't be helped. Let's take a break for a while before we go.

Sonic and his friends have started to take a break and eat some food for a few minutes. Afterward, they went to the Entrance Stage. As they enter, they see a stage locked with a large button and a shoe upgrade.

Y/n: Is that a shoe upgrade?

Sonic: You betcha! That's my Wall Jump Shoes! Leave those things to me!

Sonic jumps on the bounce pads in the air and stomps the large button, deactivating the lasers. Sonic has acquired Wall Jump Shoes.

Sonic: We're all set! Time for our exercise routine!

Y/n: Oh yeah, it's showtime!

(Rooftop Run Day Stage)

As they entered the stage, Sonic and Y/n stretched their arms and legs to prepare for their friendly race.

Sonic and Y/n: *smirk* Here we… GO!

As usual, Sonic has boosted a bit ahead while Y/n following him from behind. Y/n has sparked his idea. Y/n concentrates his ki energy around him. Y/n has started to boost the same way Sonic did. Sonic looked to his right, he was surprised to see Y/n did the same way as he did.

Sonic: Wow! You learned that from me, didn't ya!?

Y/n: Hehe yeah when I look at you, gives me an idea and it motivates me more! The party is still getting crazy and exciting, ya know!

Sonic: *smirk* Heh I think we've already made a great friendship and rivalry! Let's keep this up!

Y/n: Yeah!

They continue to boost through against Eggman's robots. They made some turns, quick steps, grinding rails, jumping from roof to roof, and other parkour moves. Y/n equipped with his King Cerberus in his lightning sansetsukon, bashed those robots while Sonic did some homing attacks.

Sonic and Y/n keep going through, they went up the rooftop, went down through the fence, and skydive to the ground.

Sonic: Better watch out!

Y/n: I see it!

They managed to avoid those spiky boulders and bombs while skydiving and landed on the ground. They continue to proceed running through until they see three green robots.

Sonic: Well that's new! Let's use Eggman's robots from the ground!

Y/n: Great idea! It's time to batter up!

While Y/n is boosting, he changed his King Cerberus into a flaming bo staff. Y/n swung his bo staff from Eggman's robots to those green robots and Sonic kept boosting through against Eggman's robots as well. They successfully destroyed those green robots and saw the same clock tower the other night.

Sonic: *smirk* Ready to go up, Y/n?

Y/n: *smirk* I thought you never asked!

Sonic and Y/n were getting up to the clock tower from platform to platform. As they went through the rainbow ring to the rail, they started to go all the way down.

Sonic and Y/n: Whoo, feeling good!

They made it down safely and kept running through the rooftop. However, they see the three green robots again.

Y/n: Sheesh Eggman never stops quitting huh? And I see the goal.

Sonic: You had no idea, but that didn’t stop us! We can take 'em!

Y/n: Yeah!

Sonic and Y/n do the same method as before and those three green robots are destroyed. And they made it to the goal.

(Stage and music ended)

Y/n: Whew now that's great cardio I had!

Sonic: Hehehe glad you think so! We still got it!

Sonic signals Y/n a high five and Y/n accepts it. They exit out of the Entrance Stage and made it back to the village. Chip came out of Sonic's hair.

Chip: Hmm it looks like we can't get into the Spagonian temple yet.

Y/n: Just like what happened back from Holoska. We should go back to Chun-nan from what the professor said.

Sonic: Yeah good call. Let's go see what happened over there.

They agreed and they're off to Chun-nan, to investigate and clear up Eggman's robot sightings.

(Chun-nan Hub Day)

They made it back to Chun-nan in broad daylight.

Y/n: Man it feels to me that it's been a while.

Sonic:Yeah, I didn't think we would be here again.

Chip: I wonder what's up.

Lin: Oh hello young travelers! It's good to see you again.

Sonic and his friends turned and saw Lin and the elder again.

Elder: Ah yes, I'm surprised you all again. Thank goodness you're here now.

Y/n: Is there something wrong here?

Lin: I'm afraid so young one, we've received some rumors about those metal robots on their way.

Elder: Indeed. They're planning to disrupt and cause havoc at this continent temple. We need some heroes like you, to deal with this situation. We need your help.

Sonic: Don't worry, we'll take care of it!

Y/n: Yeah count on it!

Elder: Ah thank you so much. We are all counting on both of you.

Lin: Yes. Head to the Entrance Stage and good luck.

Sonic and Y/n: Right!

They rushed and entered the Entrance Stage. As they entered, Sonic noticed there was an Air Boost Shoes upgrade.

Sonic: Sweet! An Air Boost Shoes!

Y/n: Really? What does that do?

Sonic: I can boost while in the air.

Y/n: Right, I see.

Sonic went up by the wall jumping from the rocks and acquiring the Air Boost Shoes upgrade.

Sonic: All set! Let's go!

Y/n: Yeah!

They went up to the stage and entered.

(Dragon Road Day Stage music)

As they arrived on the stage, they were amazed to see the Great Wall of China. Y/n took a photo from his phone.

Y/n: Well, looks like we're going down this road.

Sonic: Yep let's go! Wahoo!

Sonic has boosted ahead of Y/n.

Y/n: *smile* That’s Sonic for ya. Let's do this!

Y/n blasts off running through the road, catching up with Sonic, and smashing Eggman's robots along the way.

Y/n: Amazing view from up here! Pic time!

Sonic: Heads up, a dragon!

Y/n took some pictures along the way and looked where Sonic was pointing out.

Y/n: Either fake or not, I'm fired up!

Sonic: Right on!

Sonic and Y/n went through the dragon's mouth and continued to run downhill. They noticed more Eggman robots blocking their way.

Sonic: More robots eh?

Y/n was equipped with his Crimson Rebellion and twirled.

Y/n: Let’s rock, baby!

Sonic does the homing attacks on Eggman's robots while running through the road. Y/n bashed the robots and slashing through the incoming missiles. They proceed through the road, jumping from platform to platform however they see those robots shoot rockets at them. Y/n hurls his Crimson Rebellion through the incoming missiles and robots and Sonic continues to homing attacks. They move on to the next area where the water is.

Sonic: Can you still run on water Y/n?!

Y/n: Can do! Don't worry, I've got your back!

Sonic: Great!

Sonic and Y/n run on the water while dodging robots' missiles, other boats, and spike boulders. As they make it, they see more robots on the platforms Sonic and Y/n attack them. They continue running through the road but they see a big blue-green robot behind them.

Sonic: We should go!

Y/n: One step ahead of ya! I have just what I need!

Y/n summoned his other weapon, Cavaliere, hopped on, and followed Sonic to the goal. The robot shoots an energy laser but Sonic and Y/n dodge it.

Sonic: Hey Y/n, grip your bike and give your hands!

Y/n: Alright I trust you on this!

Y/n reached out to Sonic with his hands, Y/n gripped Cavaliere with his legs, Sonic grabbed his hands, and Sonic spun himself and Y/n. They launched a homing attack at the blue-green robot and it exploded in defeat. Sonic and Y/n have made it to the goal.

(Dragon Road Day Stage ended)

Y/n: Whew how's that for road rash? Great plan there, Sonic!

Chip: Yeah but oh man, it makes me a bit dizzy when I see it.

Sonic: *smirk* Hehe, I have my moments. Let's head back.

They finished and exited the stage. As they were about to leave, they saw not only Lin and the elder, the other villagers were happy and grateful for their heroic deeds in Chun-nan. They give them a few boxes filled with their cultural foods, as a token of gratitude. Sonic, Chip, and Y/n thank them and they're off back to Spagonia.

As they landed in Spagonia, Tails received an alert on his device.

Tails: Sonic, Y/n, there's trouble!

Sonic: What's wrong pal?

Tails: My readings show that one of Eggman's creations is heading to the temple! Hurry to the Entrance Stage!

Y/n: Well we better hurry.

Sonic: Thanks Tails, we'll take it from here!

Sonic and Y/n hurried to the Entrance Stage and entered the stage where the Temple of Gaia.

(Boss Battle Day Stage and music)

They run through the road and look around for any signs of Eggman's creations.

Y/n: Where the heck could it be?

Sonic: Ahead of us, watch out!

They dodged the incoming attacks and saw one of Eggman's creations; Egg Devil Ray. This time Eggman isn't riding it, his minions are.

Y/n: Looks like Eggman is a no-show this time.

Sonic: We'll just have to tear that junk down!

Y/n: Yeah let's go!

Sonic was about to boost to attack but it formed a barrier. The Egg Devil Ray shoots an energy laser in front of them but they dodged it for a close call. Y/n noticed that the barrier is down.

Y/n: Sonic, an opening!

Sonic: I'm on it.

Sonic has boosted into it three times while Egg Devil Ray tumbling.

Sonic: Your turn Y/n!

Y/n: Alright!

Sonic swings Y/n as he equipped his Rebellion’s Oath and unleashes his attack.

Y/n: Take this, Chain Rave!

Y/n thrust his Keyblade in front of him and knocked the Egg Devil Ray back.

Y/n: Sonic, I'll swing you to finish off!

Sonic: You got it!

Y/n swung Sonic as he was in the air, Sonic did one final homing attack, and the Egg Devil Ray tumbled badly and exploded.

Y/n: How do you like that, egghead?!

Sonic: Not a bad toy, but playtime is over pal!

(Boss Battle Day Stage and music ended)

They have successfully destroyed Eggman's creations. Chip came out of Sonic's hair and spotted the temple.

Y/n: Well that takes care of that.

Sonic: *smirk* Yeah, Eggman can try and we rule!

Y/n: *smirk* Hehe no doubt about it!

Chip: Let’s go to the temple and place the emerald, you guys.

Sonic and Y/n agreed with Chip's response and headed to the temple. As they went inside the temple, Chip went up to the center, his necklace glows as the pillar appeared. Sonic placed the third Chaos Emerald in the hole, it floats up and shines in blue color. As the blue Chaos Emerald was restored, they started to feel the entire continent shaking and the broken pieces of the planet moved back into place. They exited the temple.

Y/n: That's three, only four more to go.

Sonic: We're doing awesome so far. We should go back to the university.

Chip: Yeah all of this traveling makes me hungry.

Y/n: I'd say we should take a break after university.

Sonic: He he Yeah let's go.

Sonic and his friends have managed to take care of Eggman's robot sighting problems in Chun-nan and Spagonia. The third Chaos Emerald has been restored and one of the broken pieces of the planet moved back into place. But they haven't seen the last of Dr. Eggman, what is he up to now?
