Later, the helicopter arrives in Tokyo via a ring portal, and is trying to find the trouble.

At the driver seat, Tails says, "Good evening and welcome to Tails Airflight 10-12. We're looking at an on-time arrival into Tokyo."

Sonic and Eve walk over to the captain's seat, "Okay, captain, we got a rogue alien on the loose. How do we find him?"

Soon, the group notice a giant fireball occurring in the middle of Tokyo.

"My guess is starting off with the giant fireball," Eve says.

"Affirmative on the fireball," Tails says.

"I love it! Let's start with the giant fireball!" Sonic says.

"Chao Chao," Jazz says.

And soon, the four head off to where Knuckles is as he is preparing himself for a fight.

Knuckles laughs in excitement, "Finally, some action!"

"Okay. Time to gear up," Tails says, and gets out his handcuffs, "Titanium handcuffs, completely indestructible."

But Knuckles says, "I don't need your silly gizmos, fox. And you know why? Because I am... One million percent muscle. Yes. Good. You've been listening."

"One million percent muscle," Sonic, Eve, and Tails reply, flatly.

As Jazz says, "Chao Chao Chao."

Eve shakes her head with a smile.

Sonic whispers to Eve, "Remind me why you like this guy?"

"Because he's kind of funny. Plus, he's pretty cool and strong," Eve says.

"If you say so," Sonic replies.

Just then, the G.U.N Heli Pilot, "We're over the drop zone."

"Alright, here we go. Showtime!" Sonic says, and Eve opens the door.

Sonic then says, "Now look, we don't know if it's Godzilla or Hello Kitty down there, but as long as we stick together, there's nothing we can't handle. Team Sonic on 3," and holds his fist out.

Eve and the others do the same as Sonic counts, "One, two, three!"

Everyone says in union, "Team Sonic!" but Knuckles say, "Team Knuckles!" making Sonic groans in response.

Then Sonic turns to see Rockwell walking over, who is giving them a straight face.

Then Sonic says, "Talk about low budget flights! No food or movies? We're outta here!"

Soon, all five of them jump out of the helicopter. After some brief freestyling, Tails grabs Sonic as Eve and Knuckles grabs Sonic's by his ankles. Then Jazz flies besides Tails. Soon, they land in the middle of the city. They look around to find the place is wrecked with defeated soldiers and destroyed vehicles.

"Chao Chao!" Jazz says, shocked.

"Oh my god!" Eve says, shocked.

"What happened here?" Knuckles asks.

"It's like GUN got their butts kicked. Keep your eyes open," Sonic says.

Then turns to Tails, "Tails, anything?"

Checking on his device for a reading, Tails says in shock, "Whoa. These energy readings are off the charts."

Suddenly, a GUN Jeep is thrown at them.

"Look out!" Eve calls out.

Luckily, Knuckles grabs it with his hand and holds it up with his strength.

"One. Million. Percent," Knuckles says and throws the jeep away.

They then turn around to see a shadowy figure appearing from the smoke. The gang turns to see someone walking up a fallen car, revealing himself to be Shadow, the black and red hedgehog, and is looking at them menacingly.

Eve says in shock, "That... that hedgehog... he looks... he looks exactly like me..."

And Eve says from his thoughts, "He looks like the one from my dreams... so could that mean..."

"Whoa. Are you guys seeing this?" Sonic asks, shocked.

"He looks just like you, Sonic," Tails says. Then turns to Eve, "But, he mostly looks like you, Eve."

"Chao Chao," Jazz replies, shocked.

"Impossible!" Knuckles says.

"You're a colorful bunch," Shadow responds.

Sonic then calls out to Shadow, "Uh, excuse me! Why do you look like me?"

Shadow frowns and says, "I don't look like you! You look like me! Why do you look like me?!"

"Okay, you know what? I'll ask the questions, new hedgehog!" Sonic says, and interrogates, "Who are you?! Why do you look like me?!"

Eve facepalms in response.

"This is a waste of time," Shadow says, "Walk away..." And clenches his fist, "Before you get hurt."

"Whoa, whoa, easy, buddy," Sonic says, and gets out titanium handcuffs, "We don't wanna fight you!"

Knuckles whispers to Sonic, "Actually, Sonic... I would like to fight."

Eve sighs and pushes Knuckles side, who grunts, "Not now, Knuckles."

Then Sonic says to Shadow, "Why don't you stop throwing cars at us for a second and come down here to talk?"

But Shadow responds bitterly, "You jumped out of a GUN helicopter," and turns away, "There is nothing to talk about."

"Hey, just because we jumped out of their helicopter, doesn't really mean we're all buddy buddy with them," Eve says, annoyed.

Sonic asks, a bit surprised, "Wow. Talk about being blunt, sis."

"Well duh, I'm not really a big fan of GUN you know," Eve says.

That causes Shadow to stop to hear her say it.

"You're still mad at them for spying on you during your vacation with the girls?" Sonic asks.

"Of course, I'm still mad at them. They tried to spy on me, send a mad scientist after us, tried to capture us during Rachel's wedding, and let's not forget how two GUN agents captured me and Knuckles and tried to sell us to some psycho," Eve says.

"Alright Eve, I get it. You're not a big fan of GUN, but try to ease up with them. They did ask us to help them who your male look alike," Sonic says.

Eve groans, "Ugh. Fine," and is clearly annoyed.

Then Tails says, "Uh Sonic. Eve. We have more things to worry about."

Hearing Eve's name really makes Shadow stop, and his eyes wide in shock, and yet, a flicker of hope and relief.

"Eve..." Shadow softly says, stunned.

Just then, Knuckles says, "Alright then. Enough!" and runs off.

"Knuckles, NO!" Sonic cries out.

"Knuckles, dont!" Eve cries out.

"Let us talk with our fists!" Knuckles says, and jumps in the air to fight Shadow.

However, the black hedgehog quickly teleports over to the echidna, shocking Knuckles. He grabs his fist and turns it. Knuckles screams in pain. Then, Shadow kicks him up in the air to kick him around before sending him down below, where he crashes into a newspaper stand.

Sonic, Eve, and Tails cry out, "Knuckles!"

They rush over to the hurt echidna.

"Knuckles! Knuckles, you okay?" Eve asks, worried.

"No, not really," Knuckles says, in pain, "Ow!"

Shadow teleports to the ground a few feet away from the gang.

"Who is this guy?" Tails asks.

"He is much more impressive than the hedgehog I fought previously," Knuckles says.

"Dude, I'm standing right here," Sonic says.

"And let's not forget I nearly kicked your butt last time," Eve points out.

"Oh right," Knuckles replies.

Then Sonic says, "Now, come on! He can't take us all at once!"

Unfortunately, they've been proven wrong. Shadow teleports and kicks Tails. Then does the same to Knuckles away. And then do the same with Jazz. However, Shadow ignores Eve, and he grabs Sonic by the throat and flies up in the air. Sonic screams and struggles to get out of Shadow's grip.

"Sonic!" Eve cries out

Up in the air, Shadow teleports to get above Sonic and dives down into him. They both fall and crash into the street below as Eve moves out of the way.

In pain, Sonic says, "Okay, he took us all at once," And falls to the ground.

"Weakling," Shadow says, and walks away.

"Sonic!" Eve cries out, and rushes over.

Shadow stops and turns to see Eve helping Sonic up.

"Sonic, are you alright?" Eve asks.

"I'm okay," Sonic says.

Shadow eyes wide in shock to see Eve before his eyes. He mutters to himself, "No... It... It can't be..." He then notices the headband on Eve's head and it's very familiar, "Maria's headband..." And soon realizes, "Eve..." and simply walks away.

Eve looks to notice Shadow leaving and lifting up a dark rider.

"Hold on, where are you going?" Eve asks, "How come you didn't attack me?"

Getting on the bike, Shadow answers, "You're too important to me, little sister," and then equips himself with a gun, "Don't try to follow me," and drives off.

Eve is left stunned to hear Shadow calling him 'little sis,' has no interest in attacking her, and shocked to see how he managed to take down Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles so easily. Tails walks over to Sonic and Eve with Jazz close behind. Tails soon notices a determined look on Sonic's face, but different than the stunned expression on Eve's face.

"Sonic, I know that look. Going after him is a bad idea," Tails says.

"When has that ever stopped me?" Sonic says.

Tails turns to Eve and notices, "Eve, are you okay?"

Eve then softly says, "Shadow...?" stunned. And all of the sudden, Eve speeds off after him without another word.

"Hold on, Eve! Wait for me!" Sonic calls out, and quickly follows after him.

Down the streets in Tokyo, Shadow continues riding on the bike that he took. He soon notices something, or rather someone coming his way. That someone is Eve.

Eve continues running in thought, "I can't lose him... if he is who I think he is... I can't afford to lose him..."

After catching up to him, Eve says, "Hey Shadow, can't we stop and talk. I need to talk to you."

But Shadow doesn't respond, but secretly relieved to know that Eve remembers him.

"Maybe five minutes of your time, or perhaps telling me uh, where you were..." Eve says.

Just then, Sonic comes out, "I gotta ask, one hedgehog to another... who does your highlights?"

"Really Sonic?" Eve asks, annoyed.

"What? I always want to ask where you get your highlights, and I like to know where he got his," Sonic says.

Shadow grunts in annoyance and fires at Sonic, who quickly dodges the attack while speeding through traffic. Eve dodges the traffic coming their way.

Eve's eyes glow and show, "Chaos Spear!"

Shadow sees the attacks and uses his powers to teleport away from it. Eve spin dashes and stays on Shadow's trail. Then continues running on her feet.

Sonic continues running while keeping his eyes on him as Shadow continues to fire at him.

"Hey! Dangerously weaving through traffic is my thing!" Sonic says.

"Sonic focus!" Eve says.

As Sonic and Eve run, the motorcycle teleports away and Sonic jumps through a truck via a window in slow motion.

"Comin' through!" Sonic says, and resumes at normal speed.

That's when the motorcycle appears behind them.

Eve turns, "Look out!"

Sonic and Eve barely avoid it. Sonic mananges to grab hold onto it from the back. Eve mananges to stand on the back area of the back.

"Why are you running away? We were just getting started!" Sonic shouts as he slams the bike at a bus, making Shadow lose his gun.

"Sonic, be careful!" Eve cries out.

"Sorry sis," Sonic calls out.

Annoyed, Shadow says to Sonic, "The more you talk, the harder I want to hit you!"

Shadow then speeds up his ride and both Sonic and Eve notice that he's approaching an oncoming train.

Eve cries out, "Watch out, train! Shadow!"

Shadow teleports them away from the train and toward the Tokyo Tower as Sonic and Eve fly through the air.

"Oh, I'm gonna throw up!" Sonic cries out.

Shadow then steers the bike onto the tower.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" Sonic panics.

He rides up the tower as Sonic and Eve give chase. Sonic and Shadow clash at each other until Sonic is knocked away, landing onto a platform. Eve is able to reach Sonic and helps him up. Then Shadow slides up the tower Akira style before riding off it. He stands on top of the Dark Rider, surges in Chaos energy, and zooms toward Sonic. Sonic and Eve spark up in their color energy and zip up in the air. The three hedgehogs fly toward each other and when they clash fists...

BOOM!

A powerful shockwave knocks out all the power in Tokyo.

Moments later, Eve slowly lets out a groan and slowly regains her consciousness, but is very weak that she can barely move. Eve slowly turns her head to see Shadow, dragging the unconscious Sonic by the arm and handcuffs him to a railing with Tails' handcuff.

Once the blue hedgehog is secured, Shadow slowly walks to Eve with a serious expression. However, his expression softens as he kneels down towards her. Eve is still dazed and out of it due the collision.

Shadow gently rubs Eve's head with comfort. At first, Eve is confused, but it feels comforting and very familiar to her.

Shadow then kneels down and looks at Eve straight in the eye for the longest time. Eve looks at Shadow to see signs of sadness and relief on his face.

Shadow asks softly, "Eveline-Ra, is that... really you?"

On the verge of losing consciousness, Eve softly asks, "Sha-Shadow... is... is that you?" She then slowly reaches her hand out, "Big brother..." and soon she loses consciousness.

Shadow looks at his now unconscious sister, and feels bad about how they ended up seeing each other again. However, all he cares about is knowing that his sister is alive. Shadow slowly picks Eve up in his arms and gives her a comforting and strong embrace, relieved to have her in his arms once more.

"Don't worry, your older brother is here now, and no one will harm us, won't harm you ever again," Shadow says, sounding determined.

And with that, Shadow teleports himself away, taking Eve with him, and leaving Sonic behind.
