Traveling through zone after zone, the twin tail fox, Tails, and the little Chao, Jazz enter through the Warp Ring and end up in a different world.

Tails looks at his device and says, "You need to find them, Tails. No matter what."

"Chao Chao," Jazz replies.

Tails giggles and says, "I mean, we'll find them, Jazz."

Jazz flies around a bit and looks around the area.

"Stay close, Jazz. I don't want you to get lost," Tails says.

"Chao," Jazz replies with a nod.

Tails and Jazz begin to travel through the island they've arrived at. Soon enough, they find a small house. That small house is Sonic and Long Claw's old home.

Tails says, "They say that no one has visited here for years out of respect. This is where Sonic was raised. But it's so much more than that."

Soon, Tails and Jazz enter the old house, and soon, they find a picture of Long Claw with flowers displayed on a small piece of furniture.

Tails and Jazz walk over to see the small shrine of Long Claw.

Tails looks at it and says, "This is sacred ground... the place where Longclaw fell. Hard to believe he was just a kid like me when it happened. Though with his powers, Sonic wasn't like any kid, ever.

He then sees a drawing of Sonic, and it reads 'I'm Awesome!"

Just then, his device makes a ping sound, making Tails excited, "Oh my gosh!" I was right!"

Then uses the device to make a hologram, "With this match, I might be able to find where Sonic went, and Eve is. But it's hard to tell. Betting some weird transwap interference as I scan possible worlds. Tracing a single signature across the galaxy is like looking for a needle in 10,000 haystacks! But with my modifications. I've narrowed it down to just a few planets. After all, Sonic and Eve got to be out there somewhere."

"Chao Chao," Jazz says, happily.

"Alright Jazz, let's continue searching," Tails says, and tosses the Warp Ring.

The Warp Ring opens, and Tails and Jazz come through.

Tails walks along as he holds the device and says, "This is a zone that most of the civilized world avoids, but the energy here is so strong."

Just then, some lizard-like creature wearing a hooded tattered outfit appears in front of the two.

The creature confronts them, "Who dares intrude upon the domain of Rava the Destroyer?!"

Jazz panics, "Chao Chao Chao Chao Chao!"

"Whao! Wrong energy signature!" Tails yelps and almost falls in the lava.

Luckily, Tails uses his twin tails to fly.

Tails and Jazz fly away from Rava as fast as they can.

"Who needs to go by foot anyway?" Tails replies.

Rava shouts, "Curse you!"

Soon, Tails and Jazz enter some kind of temple with multiple traps and lava.

Tails looks at the device and says to himself, "Think, Tails, think!"

The two continue to travel through the temple to find the two hedgehogs and see where the energy is coming from.

Looking at the device, Tails realizes," Wait! It's not the energy I'm tracking that's causing this interference... Somebody's following me!"

"Chao Chao!" Jazz says, showing concern.

"Maybe they can piggyback on my portals," Tails says.

He then takes out another Ring, "But let's see if they can track us as well as we track Sonic and Eve."

Tails tosses the Warp Ring and it opens. Seeing the lava coming after them, they quickly spin dash out of the portal and into a different world.

Tails calls out, "Definitely something chaotic about this place, but was Sonic and Eve here, or is it just that... the Law of Physics don't apply?!"

The two spin dash as they bounce off the ground, bounces off two bumpers and other locations.

"Whatever's following is still on our tails! They haven't caught us on land or in the air..." Tails says as he and Jazz bounce around.

Soon, Tails is able to use another Warp Ring to open the portal, and the two bounce through it.

"..Let's see how they do when we're at sea!" Tails says.

Soon, the two end up splashing in the water. Luckily, his device is proven to be waterproof. They both soon begin to swim under the water to continue their search.

Seeing the results, Tals says in frustration, "Drats! There's no sign of Sonic or Eve here, either. Just leftover Chaos Energy from when these places were turned into ruins." Tails tosses another Warp Ring, "If I want to catch up with them. I'll have to go some place where things are alive!"

Soon, Tails and Jazz swim through the portal and out on the other side to find land. Sadly, the only place they found is some forest-like area full of trees, grass, mountains, but there doesn't seem to be any living beings.

"Not again!" Tails says, frustrated, "I'm hitting my limit for dead ends!"

"Chao Chao!" Jazz cries out.

"Huh? Jazz?" Tails says, confused.

"Chao Chao Chao. Chao. Chao Chao. Chao Chao Chao. Chao Chao Chao Chao," Jazz says.

Tails chuckles, "You're right, Jazz. I can't give up."

Tails begins to type and scan his device, "Use your brains, Tails. There are strong Choac energy signatures within warpable distance. An usually erratic spike at an uninhabited Mushroom Planet... and then a signature coming from some backwater planet called... Earth?!"

Just then, the device flashes a '!" and 'Intruder Imminent!"

"And if we don't find Sonic and Eve soon. This thing is gonna find me first!"

Tails then tosses the Warp Ring, and it opens. Tails and Jazz quickly go through the portal. Soon, behind them, a different portal opens, revealing a familiar strange alien. It talks in its language.

On the other side, the familiar Echidna says, "This is another dead end... whatever you've been tracking isn't the enemy. But I've got one more place where we can find a lead..."
