Outside of the bank at this very moment, Tom and Wade have arrived and see the police surrounding the bank.

The officer talks through the walkie talkie, "There's been no demands, no confirmation of the number of people involved... just a total communications blackout. What are they doing in there?"

"Hey look! It's just like a movie! Wow! Wade says," impressed.

But Tom says, "Wade, can I remind you before we roll up here that you are a sworn officer of the law? Get your game face on."

Then Tom approaches the police officer, "Howdy, officer, Sheriff Tom Wachowski, Green Hills, Montana... caught the A.P.B how can we be of assistance?"

"Excuse me?" The female officer questions.

"So what do we get here? Some kind of bomb situation? Because I'd totally be up for trying to defuse one of those," Wade asks.

In the bank, Jason is able to have control of the remote.

And says, "Got it! Come to your new papa!"

At an unknown location, there's some kind of station pod with the number 5 on it. It then activates and launches Dr. Robotnik's drone. They fly fast and already reach the bank. The drones also fly over the police officers, which already catch their attention.

The officer asks, "Well, what do you think, Andy and Barney? Think you can take care of whatever those things are?"

"Actually... we do have some experience..." Tom answers.

Meanwhile, trapped in the bank vault, Sonic and Eve are trying to break the door open.

"Was the world not ready to meet the spiny sentinels?" Sonic questions.

Eve sternly says, "Enough with the narration and all that. We need to get out of this before someone sees us. And we need to get Robotnik's glove away from the robbers. Who knows what they'll do with it."

"I know, but how? The vault has us locked in tight," Sonic asks.

Meanwhile, above the bank, the drones let out grappling hooks, and pierces on the ceiling wall. That causes the vault to shake, and the hedgehogs to feel the rough movement.

"What was that?" Sonic asks.

"I don't know, but I think we're about to find out," Eve says.

And soon, with all their might, the drones begin to lift the vault. In the vault, Sonic and Eve are being lifted as well and end up being moved around.

"Either we're being airlifted out or falling into a chasm," Sonic says.

Eve rushes to the vault and places her ear at the door and falls to the ground.

"No. I think the vault is being carried into the air. Someone's moving it," Eve says.

"Either way, bad! This is very bad!" Sonic says.

Meanwhile, Lindsey and Jason are astonished to see what the drones have done, carrying the vault into the air despite their small size.

Lindsey expresses her amazement, "Oh my god! What else can this thing do?!"

"Yeah, forget the buyer! With this thing, we'll make way more than he was paying by stealing the vault and everything in it!" Jason says.

Lindsey then takes the glove from Jason and puts it on, "For once, Jason. You read my mind."

In the vault, Sonic and Eve are still trapped in the vault and it's being carried in the air.

"What would a couple of intrepid super-type vigilantes do in these situations?" Sonic questions.

"We gotta get out of this vault and stop those robbers," Eve says.

"Well, if the bad guys want to take the vault... I think we'll just have to take it for a spin!" Sonic says.

Eve grins and says, "I get it. Then we'll do just that."

"Then let's go for a spin," Sonic says.

With that, Sonic and Eve begin spinning in the vault, making it spin like a top. The vault is being spin so fast that it's creating a tornado, and pulling the police cars up.

Tom calls out, "Everyone run for cover!"

Lindsey and Jason are noticing it as well.

"What the heck are those drones doing?!" Jason exclaims.

Lindsey says in shock, "They can't hold it like this!"

Soon, the Drones are unable to hold on to the safe, and it crashes down into the ground. Luckily, in the vault, Eve is able to use her powers to levitate herself and Sonic in the air before the vault comes crashing down and lands them both gently on their feet.

"Okay vault, we're going to call that round a draw," Sonic says, still feeling dizzy.

Outside of the vault, Jason says, "Whatever those things in there are... they're not gonna last much longer, right?!"

"Not if I have anything to say about it," Lindsey says.

In the vault, Sonic and Eve feel the vault is no longer moving.

Sonic grins and says, "I guess breaking out of a bank vault is way cooler than breaking into one."

"Yeah yeah. Let's get out of this vault and kick those robbers to the curve," Eve says.

"Well then, let's hope my head is as hard as you and Maddie say it is," Sonic says.

Eve chuckles, "And trust me, you have a very hard head."

Sonic then speeds his feet at fast speed and zooms right out of the vault with full force. That catches the robbers off guard in shock. They soon see the two hedgehogs standing in front of the broken vault door.

Eve then says, "Alright then, you robbers have two choices. We can either do this the easy way or the hard way."

"Traveling only by... Hedgehog the Unkillable!" Sonic says.

"Is that... is that supposed to intimidate us?" Jason questions.

"What? Too 'averaging vigilante'?" Sonic questions.

Lindsey angrily says, holding the control, "Keep running that mouth, Furball."

Outside of the bank, Wade says in surprise, "Whoops. Well, the exploding part seems done, but those freaky little robots aren't."

"That tears it!" Tom says, and takes out his fishing rod from the trick.

Tom swings his fishing pole and says, "Doesn't anybody realize..." Then the fishing line boils around the robotic claw, "...That I am on.." Then swings it at the other robot, "My vacation!"

Tom continues to swing the fishing rod and fishing line around.

In the bank, Sonic and Eve find themselves surrounded by the robbers and holding their guns at them.

"Now I know you are supposed to be big, tough bank robber guys... but you wouldn't shoot what I'm pretty sure is an endangered species would you?" Sonic questions.

However, the robbers have their guns point at the two hedgehogs and are ready to fire.

"Well then, you men will have to learn about this the hard way," Eve says.

Eve then grabs one of the robber's guns, and swings him at the other guy. Then Eve jumps and kicks the guy in the face, making him crash on the ground with the other guy.

Eve dusts off her hand and says, "That's what you get for pointing a gun at a lady."

Then Eve brings out a rock and throws it at Jason's hand, knocking his gun off his hand.

"And I think you're the one who's going to give us some answers," Eve says.

Then Sonic grabs Jason by his jacket and demands, "Now then, where did you get your hands on that glove?"

"I just read about it on the Dark Web. I swear!" Jason panics.

"And where is it now? Do you know how dangerous it is?" Eve demands.

Suddenly a familiar voice says, "But I got the killer hook up here!"

Eve and Sonic turn to see Lindsey having the glove in her hand and the last drone has survived.

"Uh oh," Sonic says.

Then Lindsey commands the robotic drone, "Sick 'em!"

But then, the drone ends up grabbing the glove and tries to take it off.

Lindsey is being picked up as he cries out, "What! What are you doing, you stupid machine?! Obey me!"

"Those things only obey one Master I know of, and he never liked to share. But keep slapping it and maybe you'll find the factory reset?" Sonic says.

"Yeah," Eve says.

Then Eve turns to the robbers, "Alright then, if you robbers decide to give up, you're going to march outside and turn yourselves to the police, and make sure you let go of the hostages here. And do us a solid and leave me and my brother out while dealing with the new."

"Yeah. What she said. And trust me, you do not want to make my sister mad," Sonic says.

"And that goes for the hostages as well. We're keeping a low profile. Of course, I don't plan on doing anything to you anyway," Eve says.

With that, Sonic and Eve quickly leave the bank before anyone can say a word.

And then, Tom rushes in and calls out, "I don't know who's in there, but as a sheriff with no jurisdictional authority here... I demand your unconditional surrender!"

Just then, the robbers begin walking out with their hands up.

The hooded robber says, " It's okay! We surrender!"

Then Jason says, "We, uh... suddenly realized the error of our ways!"

"You did?" Tom says, confused.

Then says, "I mean... of course you did! Keep your hands where I can see 'em, and no funny stuff!"

Meanwhile, Sonic and Eve rush to the hole of the bank.

"Now to find out what's up with Eggman's rejects!" Sonic says.

Eve looks up, "But first, we gotta save her!"

Sonic looks up to see Lindsey falling to the ground.

"I got her!" Eve says, and jumps up in the air.

She then catches Lindsey and hop on to the debris and land safely. Then gently places Lindsey to the ground.

"Even criminals don't deserve broken necks. Though if you weren't so bad at crime, I'd suspect you were really distracting me to let that Badnik escape. But for now, the day is saved. The wrongs have been righted. The bank has been.. Well it's still destroyed," Sonic says. He dusts off his hands and says, "And you'll do the time for that one, girl boss! As well all evildoers who dare cross quills with the Hedgehogs Justice!"

Eve facepalms her forehead, "Really Sonic?"

Lindsey groans and says, "I'll surrender to that if you just. Stop. Talking."

"Maybe answer us this, do you have any idea where that drone went?" Eve questions.

"No. It took the glove and flew away. I don't know where it went," Lindsey says.

Eve sighs, "That's just great."

Meanwhile, the drone that has taken the glove is flying in the air.

Then says, "Mission accomplished returning home."

Soon, it reaches an alley and drops the glove. The glove is being carried down by a parachute.

A man in the alley catches the glove and says, "At last, it's back where it belongs and not in the hands of someone so... basic."

Meanwhile back in front of the bank, Tom and Wade are talking about the day they have.

Wade says, "Well, Tom. you're the hero again. But next time a killer robot shows up, I'm totally going to take it down with a blow dark or a boomerang, I swear!"

"That's what I'm worried about, plan," Tom says, "If Robotnik's tech is still out there. Who knows how many more of these incidents we'll have to deal with. Better keep this quiet from Sonic and Eve from now. Could you imagine the mess if Sonic started tracking these things down? And Eve might do the same, but she'll be more reasonable about it."

Just then, the female officer walks over and says, "I can't follow half of what you guys are talking about. But at least I can offer thanks by the way of..." and opens the box, "...Donuts?!"

However, when she opens the box, it's completely empty.

The officer calls out, "Say, who raided the hero's feast?!"

As it turns out, Sonic is the one who has swiped the donuts and shares it with Eve.
