Meanwhile, Robotnik continues to chase the two hedgehogs with his Eggman Robot.

Robotnik soon begins to run out of breath, "Coming, getting."

Suddenly, Sonic calls out, "Yoo-hoo!"

And Robotnik looks to see the two hedgehogs on the tree

"So what's the plan here?" Sonic asks. "You gonna build a big robot house? Get yourself a big robot wife?"

Eve laughs at the mockery Sonic is doing.

But Robotnik says, "I'm going to enslave humanity and force them to service my machines. First Green Hills, then the universe, then the multiverse, then who knows?! Maybe that'll be enough. Full disclosure?" and slowly, "You two won't be there."

Robotnik's eyes glow green as lasers blast out of the robots' eyes, destroying the tree and making the two hedgehogs leap off and try to avoid the attacks.

Sonic continues to taunt, "Eye lasers?! Really?!"

"Totally detecting super villain vibes," Eve adds.

Sonic and Eve continue to zoom through the forest to get away from Robotnik. Meanwhile, Tails, Knuckles, and Jazz are still climbing on the robot. Soon, Sonic and Eve zoom towards the bridge and start to run out of breath. Suddenly, Robotnik's Giant Eggman Robot rises up next to them.

"Snot rocket!" Robotnik says as he places his finger on the right nostril and aims his left at the hedgehogs. The Robot fires the laser with its nose and destroys the bridge behind Sonic and Eve.

"No, no, no! No, no, no!" Sonic cries out as he and Eve try to run.

But the wave eventually catches up to them and falls off the bridge and lands on the ground, and now they are both unconscious.

Robotnik laughs, "Ha, ha, ha, ha! Giving up already? Not so tough when you're fighting someone 700 times your size, are ya? You can't beat me! I'm all-powerful! All-knowing! All-seeing.

Suddenly, Robotnik turns around as he hears firing sound and looks to see Tails and Jazz coming into the cockpit after cutting the hole.

"Looks like your fancy robot has a glitch!" Tails says as he and all his holograms enter the room.

And there are also Jazz and her holograms as well.

Each of them calls out "Is it me? What about me? I'm over here! Up top! Down below! Behind you! I'm over here! Sorry! Over here! Too slow! Missed me again!"

Soon, Robotnik begins to shoot every last one of them. But the real Jazz uses each opportunity she gets to hit Robotnik on the head with her small fists and legs.

"You can't outsmart me. I'm the outsmarter-er!" Robotnik says angrily, and releases a green shockwave, obliterating the holograms and making the Tail tails hit the wall and land on one of the pipes. Jazz quick;y flies to Tails and helps him up.

Once up, Tails says, "We didn't outsmart you, We're just the distraction."

"Chao," Jazz replies with a nod.

Then Knuckles calls out, "Robotnik!"

Robotnik looks up to see Knuckles standing across from him.

"I am also a hologram," Knuckles calls out.

Robotnik bitterly says, "Disloyal.

"'Dis' is how I roll," Knuckles says, cracking his knuckles and charging up his fist.

Knuckles then charges at Robotnik, and with one powerful punch to Robotnik's chest, Knuckles manages to separate the Master Emerald from Robotnik. Without the Master the Master Emerald, the Giant Eggman Robot powers down and is unable to function without it. As the robot falls, Knuckles, Tails, and Jazz fall out, and the Master Emerald falls as well.

Recovering from the hit, Robotnik notices the emerald is gone, and panics, "Where's my Emerald? No, no, no, no! No, no, no!"

He turns to his glove, "Computer, auxiliary power."

Slowly, the auxiliary powers go on.

Meanwhile, Sonic and Eve regain consciousness.

"Eve, are you okay?" Sonic asks.

"I... i think so," Eve says, and uses the sword to help get up and stand.

Sonic also struggles to get up. But because of the fall, the two struggle to stand.

Despite being weakened, Sonic notices the emerald, "The Emerald. It's right there.

In the robot, Robotnik shouts, "Move, you hunk of junk!"

A control computer rises up from the platform, and Robotnik gets the Giant Eggman Robot moving. And soon, the once green glowing robot is now red under the auxiliary power.

Struggling Sonic says, " I have to... Sonic falls over, "Reach it."

Eve struggles and helps Sonic up, "We're almost there."

Sonic and Eve struggle towards the Master Emerald while the Giant Eggman Robotnik walks right behind them.

Just then, Tom and Maddie appear, riding the pick up truck and heading right towards the Giant Eggman Robot.

Maddie soon sees the two hedgehogs, "There they are! Go! Go, go, go!"

Sonic and Eve soon reach the Master Emerald, allowing Sonic to pick it up. However, Robotnik's robot's foot lifts its foot and prepares to stop on them. However, Maddie reaches out as Tom drives, and scoop the two hedgehogs up at the last minute, and get them out of the robot foot's range.

Robotnik screams in pure rage, "NO!"

"We got you, two," Maddie says.

Tom screams, "Hold on!"

The Giant Eggman Robot punches the ground, sending the truck flying until it's on its back. Soon, Tom, Maddie, Sonic and Eve quickly exit from the truck.

"You guys okay?" Maddie asks.

"Yeah," Tom says.

"Okay," Maddie says.

The group turns to see Robotnik's robot getting up and ready for another attack.

"I got the Emerald. We can still defeat him,'' Sonic says and looks at the Emerald. Come on, come on. How does this thing work? What do I do?"

Suddenly, the Master Emerald starts to fade in color.

"What?" Sonic questions in shock.

Soon, the emerald breaks and falls apart, and the Chaos Emerald separate, "No. No, no, no, no! No, no, no, no!"

"Robotnik must have drained the emerald of its power and returned to its original states," Eve says, shocked and dismayed.

Just then, the Giant Eggman Robot looms over them.

"Look at the happy little family," Robotnik says, bitterly.

Then the robot unleashes a flamethrower, surrounding Sonic, Eve, Tom and maddie in a circle of fire, trapping them inside.

Soon, Sonic says, "You have to get away from us."

"I think Sonic's right. We're the one he wants," Eve says.

But Maddie says, "Hey. We're not going anywhere. We're family."

"And families stick together... No matter what," Tom says, and takes Eve's hand.

Soon, Robotnik's robot lifts its foot up and proceeds to stomp on them all.

"I love you guys," Sonic says.

Then Eve says, "I love you too.

And Tom says, "We love you too, Sonic."

And all four bundle together.

Suddenly, the seven Chaos Emerald and the gemstone from the Master Emerald Sword begins to glow. The emerald levitates, and circles around rapidly. Soon, the blue, green, cyan blue and White Chaos Emeralds enter Sonic's body while the red, purple and yellow Chaos Emeralds enter Eve's body. Right before the Giant Eggman Robot stomps right at four of them, and Robotnik believes to have killed them all as Tails, Knuckles, and Jazz witness in disbelief and horror.

Tails cries out, "No!"

Robotnik however is delighted, "I got them! I finally got them!"

Suddenly, the Giant Eggman Robot begins to shake, causing Robotnik to go from ecstatic with victory to uneasy with dread.

"What was that?!" Robotnik asks, dreadfully.

Under the Giant Eggman Robot, a gold glow appears and the foot starts to lift up. It's revealed that the power of the Chaos Emeralds has caused both of the hedgehogs to transform. The three friends witnessed in shock and astonishment. Maddie and Tom look to see Sonic and Eve, who have transformed and have saved them at the last second. Sonic and Eve's fur have turned gold as a gold aura appears around their bodies.

Soon, the two hedgehogs fly towards the Giant Eggman Robot's head as everyone witnesses the transformation. Even Robotnik is at a loss for words and blinded by the glow.

Super Sonic and Super Eve use their power to drill across the robot's neck and decapitate it, exposing the Robot. Robotnik gaps in disbelief and shock as the two Super Hedgehogs approach them and hover just in front of the robot's neck. Locking their righteous anger at them.

"It's over, Eggman," Sonic says.

Robotnik nervously smiles and says, "I like the new look. It works for you. What do you say we just let bygones be bygones? I did some things, you did some things. There are good people on both sides.

Super Sonic and Eve glare at Robotnik furiously.

Robotnik then discreetly presses the buttons on his control glove to control the giant robot's right arm and fists. "Surely three intelligent beings... can work these things out!"

Robotnik then tries to throw a punch at Super Sonic with the robot's fist, but Sonic blocks the fist with one hand, without even turning his attention to it, and blows it up. Robotnik is terrified to see Sonic easily take out his robot's fist and one single-handedly.

On the ground, Tom and Maddie get to a safe distance and watch the fight.

"Come on, buddy. Come on," Tom says.

And Maddie says, "Get him, Sonic!"

"Yeah. Come on, Eve. you can take him," Tom adds.

Robotnik tries to punch Sonic and Eve with the second fist. However, Eve brings out the newly powered Master Emerald sword, emitting a gold aura and stabs the fist, causing it to blow up. Then the two hedgehogs zip straight through the Giant Eggman Robot multiple times, delivering heavy damages. Soon, Sonic and Eve arrive in front of the robot and face Robotnik.

Sonic turns to Eve, "Would you care to do the honors?"

"Gladly," Eve says.

For the final move, Eve tips the Giant Eggman Robot over with one tap of her foot, and the robot begins to how signs of falling,

"Oh, it's like that?" Robotnik questions as the two hedgehogs scowl, "Okay, we're not friends."

Soon, the Giant Eggman Robot begins to fall over.

Robotnik falls off its platform as he shouts, "Later, haters!

The Giant Eggman Robot collapses and is defeated. Soon, the two hedgehogs land on the ground, and Tom and Maddie run to them.

Maddie calls out, "Sonic! Eve!"

"Buddy!" Tom calls out.

But Knuckles blocks them from getting too ! You cannot touch them! The hedgehogs hold the power of the Emerald. I am sorry. They're no longer the Sonic and Eve you once knew."

"What?" Tom asks, shocked.

In a suspenseful moment, Super Sonic creates a cluster of lightning and storm clouds in the skies that he channels from opening the palm of his hand. However, Sonic summons a chili dog in his hand. He takes a good whiff and bites out of it

And soon, Sonic begins lounging, "Oh, you got to try this."

He snaps his fingers and makes another chili dog in his hand.

Then presents it to Eve," For you, sis."

"Thanks Sonic," Eve says, and takes the chili dog.

He then snaps his fingers again and summons another chili dog, which falls on Knuckles' face, much to Tom and Maddie's amusement.

Slightly annoyed, Knuckles says, "Okay. He is exactly the Sonic you once knew."

Eve giggles and floats to Knuckles, "sorry Knuckles, but that's my brother for you." and snaps her finger to make a napkin appear. Then help wipe Knuckles' face.

Soon, Knuckles is able to open his eyes and sees Eve's face.

Despite being a bit bashful, Knuckles says, "And I'm glad to see that you're exactly the Eve we know."

Eve giggles and floats to Sonic once more. The two hedgehogs take each other's hand and relinquish the Chaos Emerald, returning to their normal forms.

"Sonic! Eve!" Maddie says relief and gives them a hug.

Tom reaches to them as well, "Bring it in, buds."

And Sonic and Eve hug Tom as he does for them.

It's good to be back in blue. The golden god thing was fun, but blue has always been more my color," Sonic says.

"Looks good on you," Tom says.

"Yeah," Eve says

Just then, Tails walks up to them and asks, "Sonic, Eve, you both were the most powerful heroes in the universe, and you let it go. Why?"

"Because we still have some growing up to do," Eve says.

And Sonic says, "And I kind of like being a kid."

Then Tom says, "And you're both not just any kids. You're our kids."

"That's right. Bring it in!" Maddie says as she and Tom open their arms for a hug.

"Yay. Hugs," Tails cheers.

"Chao Chao," Jazz happily says.

"Yeah," Eve says.

And Sonic says, "It's a good thing we didn't do this before. You would've blown up."

Eve laughs, "Oh Sonic.

Soon, Knuckles picks up the shards of the Master Emerald and pours them into his hand. He presses them together, causing them to glow. Soon, Knuckles pulls his hands back, revealing the Master Emerald has been restored.

Eve is amazed, "You fixed it."

Knuckles walks up to them and asks, "I've spent my whole life questing for this. Now I have it. Now we have it. What do we do with it? What next?"

"There were once two orders of heroes who protected the galaxy from those who would use the Emerald for evil," Tails says.

And Knuckles says, "But they have all passed on to the great battleground in the sky."

"So we start a new order. The four of us," Sonic says.

"Chao," Jazz speaks up.

Sonic chuckles and says, "I mean, five of us."

"Chao," Jazz happily replies.

Then Knuckles says, "This is no light task. We must make a vow; to use our powers to keep the universe safe; to watch out for each other. Our new tribe."

"I know! A power bump!" Tails says and holds out his fist.

"Good idea," Sonic says, and they have the same fist.

"Chao Chao," Jazz happily says.

"I couldn't agree more," Eve says and holds her fist up.

Tails turns to Knuckles, "It's an Earth custom. An unbreakable promise."

"Very well. A power bump it is," Knuckles says.

"Power bump!" Sonic says.

Sonic, Eve, Tails, Jazz, and Knuckles perform a five-way power bump.
