At the Mean Bean Coffee Cafe, Stone is handcuffed to the chair being interrogated by Wade, who is holding a butter knife.

Wade says to Stone, "I'm done playing games, pal. You're gonna tell me what I want to know. And I am asking you... for the last time..." and holds up a plate with a display bagel on it.

"What would you like on your bagel?" Wade asks.

"I'm not telling you anything, and that is a display bagel," Stone says.

That makes Wade frustrated, "I don't get it with you! I mean, I've tried everything. I was good cop. I was bad cop. I was cop who offers you a bagel. And nothing. It's like..." Wade tries to bite into it, but soon realizes, "That is a display bagel. Wow."

Suddenly, all the lights in the cafe glow green and Robotnik appears in the room ,levitating next to them with green electricity coming out of his body.

"Doctor, you're here," Stone says.

Wade sets himself to defend himself with the knife.

"Yes, I'm here, and yet I'm... Not all there," Robotnik says with his voice sounding distorted.

"Sir, are you feeling okay?

"I'm more than okay. I'm upgraded," Robotnik says.

And creates music buttons in midair, "Sinister 3.0. My game is next level."

Robotnik then teleports behind Stone, startling him, "Hi."

Robotnik then grabs Stone, "I can smell the electricity in your brain."

And turns to Wade, "You smell like a snack plate."

Wade nods his head, "Yeah, no, that's fair. I had a couple today."

Then Robotnik teleports himself behind Wade as he takes the display bagel, "Sit down."

Wade then lowers himself.

But Robotnik says, "In the chair." and unlock the cuffs telekinetically allowing Stone to stand up.

Then Wade takes his place and sits on the chair.

"I didn't know. 'Cause he, 'cause he was in the chair, so I didn't. Okay," Wade says.

Robotnik then eats the display bagel, "Sir, we have a problem."

Stone then presses a button to fold the blinds back to reveal that the Mean Bean Coffee Cafe has been surrounded by tanks and G.U.N agents with loaded weapons. All the agents continue to arrive at the cafe and ready to fire.

Different G.U.N agents shouts, "All teams in position! Set up a perimeter! Move! Move! Move!"

Seeing the Agents, Robotnik says, "Incorrectus, my trusty barnacle. After all these years, what I finally got... Is a solution."

Back outside, a helicopter lands a few yards away. Once landed, Walters, Tom, and Maddie come out of the helicopter.

One of the agents walks up to them, "Commander."

"Status report," Walter says.

"Robotnik is in there with Stone and a hostage. Possibly local PD. And I'm not saying he's dumb, but if he is local PD, this town's in a lot of trouble," The female agent says, escorting them to the cafe.

Tom and Maddie look at each other, "Wade."

Soon, Walters, Tom, and Maddie arrive at the cafe as well. Soon, the doors to the cafe open with steam coming out, and Robotnik comes out, levitating up to everyone with green electricity emerging from him.

"Umm... Okay," Maddie says, rather shocked.

And Tom says, "Rockin' that new spring collection, I see."

Seeing the couple, Robotnik says, "Well, if it isn't... the Pastry King."

It's the Donut Lord," Tom clarifies, "A real genius would remember the name of the guy who helped kick your butt off this planet. And I'll do it again if you mess with Green Hills."

"Congratulations on your oh-so-temporary sense of superiority," Robotnik says, sarcastically.

Then Walters says, "You're finished, Robotnik! We've taken everything. Your lab, your drones, your funding! Let's see how big of a man you are without your silly little robots."

"Would you like to see how..." Robotnik says, lifting his hand, "Big a man I can be?"

With a point of Robotnik's finger, screws and bolts start unplugging from the tanks and vehicles as they start deconstructing themselves.

"Welcome... to the new norm," Robotnik says and floats up into the air.

Black clouds begin to circle around him as more. G.U.N vehicles are being taken apart and levitated into the cloud, making it grow and swirl.

"My god!" Waters says, shocked.

Stone rushes out of the cage and faces Robotnik as he shouts, "Doctor, take me with you!"

Soon, green lightning begins to carry him by the leg and into the cloud as it continues to grow and swirl until it becomes a black tornado that consumes and deconstructs more vehicles within range.

Seeing what's happening Tom says, "He's taking everything apart."

"He's building something," Maddie adds.

Just outside of Green Hills, a Portal Ring opens, and the red plane flies out with Sonic, Eve, Jazz, and Knuckles on it, and Tails piloting the plane. Soon, they see the large dark cloud tornado with green lighting and energy emitting from it.

Seeing what's happening, Tails says, "That can only be one thing."

"The fearsome power of the Emerald," Knuckles says.

Then Sonic says, "If that thing really turns thoughts into power, we are in big trouble. Robotnik has a lot of bad thoughts."

"Chao Chao," Jazz says, concerned.

Just then, Tails asks, "Hey, Sonic, Eve, are you sure it was a good idea bringing you-know-who aboard?"

"Knuckles isn't really a bad guy. He's just a little... mixed up, and uh confused," Eve says.

But Knuckles says, "I am not mixed up! I have steely focus. And I'm complex. And that's a lot for some people."

"Hope you're not still mad I hit you with that car," Tails says, sheepishly.

"I was completely uninjured. And my revenge will come when you least expect it, fox," Knuckles says.

Within the large tornado, it shows signs that he has built a mechanical face. Soon, Robotnik floats above a platform with Stone at the control panel.

"Sir, you're magnificent!" Stone says, very impressed.

"Thank you, sycophant. Your admiration is inevitable," Robotnik says.

Outside of the cafe, everyone watches as the tornado dies down to reveal a giant Eggman like robot.

Wade is astonished, "I knew it! Just like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man."

In the robot, Robotnik says, "World domination playlist., and proceeds to play music with his leg like a guitar.

And then begins to dance stomping through the town with the giant robot.

Seeing the Giant Eggman Robotnik heading towards them, Walters calls out, "Fall back. Fall back! Quick! Retreat!"

Everyone soon begins to evacuate from the city as the Eggman Robotnik approaches the city.

Soon, the red plane, the Tornado, heads towards Green Hills and the group sees the Giant Eggman Robot.

"I can't believe Robotnik built that," Eve says.

"Chao," Jazz replies.

Then Tails asks, "How are we supposed to beat this thing?"

"We need a plan. Knuckles, use your strength to..." Sonic exclaims.

But Knuckles folds his arms across his chest and willingly falls off the wing of the plane and plummets down to the ground below.

"Jump off the plane. Wow," Sonic says, "Okay, this is what we're gonna do." Then Sonic and Eve climb on the top of the wings.

Sonic continues, "Step 1: Light taunting. Step 2: I have no idea."

Soon enough, Maddie and Tom see The Tornado heading straight for the Giant Egg Robot.

"Sonic! Eve! Maddie says.

Soon, the Tornado proceeds to circle the Giant Eggman Robot.

Soon, Sonic begins taunting, "Nice action figure, Eggman. Does it do anything or just stand there looking ugly?"

Seeing the hedgehogs, Robotnik says in frustration, "Like a blister, they keep coming back!"

Then turns to Stone, "They're on the okay-to-kill list. Shoot the missiles. Make a decision."

"Uh, I need a moment, sir. I'm trying to figure out how to do this," Stone says, struggling to work the controls.

Robotnik asks, "Did you even glance at a manual?"

"No!" Stone answers.

"I'll do it," Robotnik says as he teleports himself next to Stone and presses the button on the controls.

Then says to Stone, "Pardon my lightning. You might want to ground yourself.

Soon, the Giant Eggman Robot engages the missile from the chest and fires at the Tornado.

Tails notices, "Uh, oh."

Sonic says with confidence, "I'm gonna pop that thing open like a can of chili..." But stop in shock to see the missiles flying towards them at top speed.

"Hang on!" Tails calls out.

Sonic and Eve hand to the wing as Jazz hangs on to Tails. Tails turns the steering wheel and performs a barrel roll with the Tornado, dodging every last missile that comes at them. The group is relieved to see they made it.

"Close one," Sonic says, but one of the missiles hits him and sends him flying.

Eve and Tails cry out, "Sonic!"

Robotnik then has his arms bend and begins flapping them, like calling chicken.

Soon, Knuckles enters the scene and runs towards the robot, "Robotnik! DECEIVER!"

"Die, mosquito," Robotnik says from inside the robot.

Robotnik then puts his giant robot's hang on the street and makes it run right towards Knuckles. Knuckles generates his powers into his fist and punches the robot hand with full force, making it flinch.

Robotnik pulls his hand back to feel the pain, "Oooh. I felt that."

Back in the sky, Tails deploy a pair of machine guns from the cowling behind the propeller, but the machine guns have no effect on Robotnik. Eve also brings out her sword and creates energized slashes to attack but again, it has no effect. Then the robot's mustache clams together, crushing one of the wings and making it crash to the street in a ball of fire. Tails, Eve, and Jazz are able to get out of the plane just before it crashes.

Shocked at what just occurred, Robotnik asks, "What just happened?"

"It's the Stache Smasher, "Stone says, holding up a Sega Genesis-style manual, "Right here in the manual."

Meanwhile, Sonic is riding on the top of the missile that hit him and aims it towards the robot.

Sonic calls out, "Return to sender!

And then leaps off the missile as it strikes the Giant Eggman Robot on the kneecap.

In the head, Stone is rattled about in his seat and is knocked out. Even Robotnik feels the powerful jolt.

"Stone?" Robotnik calls out and looks to see him knocked out, "Oh Great. Next thing you know, there'll be a report about a hostile work environment.

Back in the streets of Green Hills, Sonic, Eve, Knuckles, Tails, and Jazz regroup behind the peeled piece of street.

"Those were our best attacks and they did nothing! "Knuckles says.

"We can't beat Robotnik as long as he's got that Emerald," Tails says.

"I'm afraid so. With the Emerald, Robotnik is too powerful," Eve days.

"Chao Chao," Jazz replies.

But Sonic says, "Look. We aren't strong enough to beat Robotnik on our own, but there's three of us."

Then turns to Knuckles, "Your strength..."

Then turns to Tails, "...your smarts..."

Then Turns to Eve, "...your skills..."

And Sonic says, "And my speed, together. That's how we win."

"So we make our stand here on the field of battle," Knuckles says.

"If we work together..." Eve says.

"As a team!" Tails says.

Sonic, Eve, Tails, and Knuckles stand across from the Giant Eggman Robot.

"This is it. This is our moment!" Sonic says.

In the robot, Robotnik says, "Time to fight."

And releases a large swarm of aerial Drones to charge at the group. Soon, the group of five battle against the drones and destroy them as they surround them.

"Bad time to say this, but I don't actually have a plan," Sonic says.

Then turns to Tails, "Tails, any ideas?"

"We have to find his weak spot," Tails says.

"I suggest the groin," Knuckles says.

"What? Why?" Eve asks.

"The groin is the weakest spot," Knuckles answers.

"Stop, saying, 'groin'," Sonic says.

Suddenly, Robotnik shouts, "Hedgehogs!" and uses his robot to shoot laser blasts from the wrists.

"Look out!" Sonic cries out.

The group dodge the missiles and charge toward Robotnik as they fight off the drones.

"Eve, I know what his weak spot is: it's us! We're the groin!" Sonic says.

Eve sheepishly says, "Not the best analogy, but I understand what you mean. Robotnik really has a bone to pick with us."

"Exactly. We live rent-free in this dude's head, so if we go out there and rile him up..." Sonic says.

"He'll focus on only you, leaving himself open to a flanking maneuver from me and the fox! Hedgehog, you and your sister are brave and noble warriors! Go to your certain death with honor!" Knuckles says.

Eve laughs, "Don't count us dead yet, Knuckles."

"We're gonna have to work on your pep talks, pal," Sonic says.

Tails chuckles, "Yeah."

Jazz laughs as well.

"Let's go!" Sonic says.

With that, the group split up. Sonic and Eve speed ahead and stop right at Robotnik's Giant Eggman Robot.

Sonic calls out, "All right, mustache! You want us? Come and get us!"

"You don't tell me about coming and getting. I am on the cutting edge of coming and getting!" Robotnik angrily says, and proceeds walking Coming, getting! Coming, getting! Coming, getting! Coming, getting!"

The Giant Eggman Robot begins to chase Sonic and Eve, very slowly.

Sonic and Eve speed off as Eve shouts, "Catch us if you can, Robuttnik!"

Meanwhile, Tails and Jazz are holding Knuckles by the arms and flying towards the back of the robot.

Tails struggles, "You're really heavy."

"That's because I am one-million percent muscle! Faster, fox!" Knuckles says.

Tails and Jazz fly until they reach the robot.

Back on the streets of Green Hills Tom and Maddie are evacuating the civilians.

Maddie shouts, "Go! Move, guys! Move back!"

Along with Tom, Let's go, that's it! Go, go, go, go, go! Keep going!"

Just then, Tom rushes away from Maddie and shouts, "No-no-no-no whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!"

Suddenly, a truck comes up and pulls over.

The driver pokes his head out the window, "Tom, what the heck happened here?"

Tom turns to Maddie, "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Let's get our kids," Maddie says.

Then the couple turns to the driver, "We need your truck!"

A moment later, the two are in the truck and drive off to get to their kids: Sonic and Eve.
