FOREWORD
A story of a romantic couple who promised each other that once they end their relationship they'll still catch up every day – once a month – for a whole year before they officially part ways. A story of two hearts who used to love each other. 12 days. 12 months. A whole year. 288 hours.
Two hearts with different stories in 12 different places to talk about anything under the pink skies, to reminisce the past, to fix something broken, to talk about any possible things, and to catch up after breaking each other's heart.
But the story doesn't end there. This is also a story of people from the corner of café. A story of someone who's walking on the street, smiling, but with a heavy heart. A story of a dying person. A story of an artist slowly losing his passion. A story of someone from the bar. A story of your friend. A story of your neighbor.
A story of a stranger. Anyone. A story about souls, hearts, and minds. Your story.

Damian Immanuel Olivarez and Eleanora Juliet Flores are madly in love with each other. They are college sweethearts. They went in a cute way that's perfect for a Dear Diary moment. They went through cloud 9 of their relationship, it is something that all people would want in a relationship. And of course, they also faced some challenges that surprisingly made their relationship strong. They've been together through thick and thin, under the pink and grey skies, and everything in between.
But everything must come to an end, like their relationship. After all that they've been through, who would've thought that it'll end in the most unexpected way? But this ending leads to a new beginning. A new beginning that they've planned a long time ago.
Now that they're not as sweet as honey anymore, they don't have any choice but to say goodbye to each other as they face the new beginning in their own individual lives. As promised, they'll be seeing each other at least once a day for a whole year – once a month – for 12 days. For some people, it sounds absurd, but for them, it is something that they owe to each other after all the things that they've been through, it is something like a special chapter to a story that has just ended.
But who needs a special chapter to something that has already ended? Is this only an excuse to see each other because one of them still has feelings toward their ex-lover? Or is this one way of reminiscing about the past and building a new connection? Or it could lead to another misunderstanding that might officially part their ways.
This is also a collection of stories from different people. From the café. A story about you, your friend, your neighbor, someone you met, a classmate, that guy from the bookstore, a girl from the coffee shop, a stranger. Anyone. A story about all souls, hearts, and minds.
This is your story.

Some of the conversations written here are based on real stories.
I am writing this story for someone whose heart has been broken and went through a major heart break or at least when they feel like the Cupid has given up on them. Perhaps it's for everyone. I guess we've all been there. Honestly speaking, this isn't just about a romantic heartbreak, this story will also tackle a lot of things that could break someone's heart.
I am writing this novel while also taking up my major in college, literature, so, please bear with me for slow update and inconsistency, but I'll try my best to update as actively as I can, especially, now that I want to focus really hard on writing here.
Ready your heart.
