Everyone I've met all along

has hurt me and left me alone

The feeling of being caged by myself

is burning me up from within

People always look for someone who can

make them feel more of themselves

Someone who they wish to spend time with

in hopes that they will never leave you alone

People say that they fear being lonely

scared of seeing the world as it is 

But sad to say that the reality is that

we're all alone

Friends are all just mere strangers, it's the truth

we're all just strangers to each other

We're all lost ones, still finding ourselves

the ones who don't even know who we are

And sometimes you think you're this person but

after so long, you realize that you are just not

You realize that you've only been lying to yourself

and that's okay, cuz that's how you find your own self

It's easy to say that everything will be alright but

there will come a time when you'll slowly realize

how wrong you've been all along

hoping for the best only to regret it soon

You just got to find that inner voice

and become that person you dream to be

Don't ever let the others who hurt you

push you down even more...

Be like him or be like her and you'll be fine 

but they don't know how much you've been through

So listen to your heart and just be you
