Disclaimer: I personally do not follow this artist nor do I listen any of their songs (I just heard this one on a radio after forgetting to loop a playlist), so if they are involved in any scandals or dramas, please don't comment about because I have no clue about whatever happened.

So I don't tend to listen to a lot of female artists or artists with high pitched voices because its just not something I like very much, but I do honestly really like this song. I'm not necessarily recommend it for the sound, though I do like the sound of the verses a lot, but actually for the lyrics. I honestly really like how the artist uses words that paint an interesting picture without making their point to hard to interpret or to complicated to understand.
Ex.
"I always find the most creative ways to destroy myself
Yeah, I can tear me down better than anybody else
I don't need your help, I don't need your help
You've been pouring gasoline in your living room
Light a cigarette while you complain about the fumes"
Ex.
"You can't tie your favourite noose around my neck
Cut me down when I turn blue and act like I'm the wreck"
In both these instances, the metaphors used by the artist are really cool and use tropes most people know and understand, making it clear how the narrator perceived the significant other in the scenario and how the S/O is at fault here.
