I am alone, though surrounded

By my pets, and people I love

For I grieve for my babies,

The ones that I wanted to give

All that I am to.

I am so lonely, a weight fills my heart

And makes it hard to smile right now

I think of my children that I'll never see

I know I'll feel better but just can't see how

Missing my babies.
