Ria's POV

"Fuck." napaatras ako, my eyes looking directly at the titan slowly standing up. He was made of flowing lava and his eyes were nothing but black.

Huge boulders of rocks gathered and floated around his hands.

At sunod-sunod itong bumagsak mula sa lupa like meteors falling down from the sky. Everyone was affected, even some of the monsters who got hit by the rocks.

"Mortals! Take cover!" sigaw ni Persephone. She summoned a huge barrier made out of the ground. Nagsimula nang magsitakbuhan ang mga students, huntres and amazons patungo dito.

Afterwards, a layer of ice, grass, and other elements covered Persephone's barrier.

The deities were protecting us.

Around the barrier, four gods, all with white wings, stood on the four corners. After several seconds, the winds coming from every direction encircled the barrier forming the last protective layer.

They must be the four chief gods of the anemoi, deities of the winds.

"Hypnos! Morpheus!" sigaw ni Thanatos. Pagkatapos, dalawang lalaki ang lumutang sa gitna. The wind then became stale and everything went quiet. Sabay-sabay na bumagsak ang mga gigantes at daimons. Thanatos raised his staff the all the giants and daemons fell to a trench to the Underworld.

I saw how Eris' half-smiled.

It got me confused for a second but then the ground opened bigger once more revealing a hideous monster, the largest of its kind. So large he almost had the size of a titan.

His lower body consisted of a snake's. But that is not what makes him terrifying. He has the upper body of a muscular man but behind his bald head, formed what seemed like a male peacock's tail ONLY, the feathers are made out of dragon heads.

His skin stench of death and his eyes were made of flames.

Typhon, the Father of All Monsters.

He was looking at something.

And it got me worried.

He opened his mouth and a huge fireball formed. From his mouth, it went towards the direction of the school. Nakita ko pa kung paano sinubukan ng isa sa mga anemoi na ilipat ito sa ibang direksyon pero wala gaano itong epekto dahil sa bilis ng takbo nito.

The next thing I knew, I found myself running and holding my breath.

I let out a loud cry before morphing into a phoenix.

"Ria!" narinig ko ang sigaw ni Art.

But it was too late. Closer, I felt my body burning and burning alive.

'Not my home.' was the only thing I thought of before using all my power and body to push the ball away from the Academy. It went to another direction and it brought me with it.

Hindi ko na kayang iligtas ang sarili ko dahil nasunog na ang kabuuan ng aking mga pakpak.

There was nothing left to do.

I let out a sigh and closed my eyes as I felt the impact of the huge rock smash me to the ground.

Matilda's POV

Napasinghap ako.

"No.." hindi ako makapaniwala. "R-Ria.."

Bumagsak ako na umiiyak. I covered my face with my hands and I just lost it.

I lost it.

'Stand up, Matilda' utos sa'kin ni Iaso. Inangat ko ang aking ulo at tinignan siya. "I-I can't..." umiling ako.

Napayuko ako pero nanlaki ang aking mga mata nang may naalala ako.

"Chase." tumayo ako. "Chase." I scanned my eyes to find him and there he was, standing in the middle, all alone.

His weapon, the golden feather melted in his hands. The liquid ran through his skin, and towards his back.

I flinched when I heard his skin sizzle due to the gold liquid entering his body. He was being burned alive but his face doesn't show any pain at all.

He looked down, at his hands.

I lost my balance and fell when a strong force of wind pushed me and he was no longer standing in the middle. Lahat kami ay nagtaka at palinga-linga para hanapin siya.

"Shit." napamura si Seht.

And then, we found him again in the middle, this time holding a head of a dragon.

He was wearing no shirt.

Only large wings made out of golden feathers sprawling on his back.

Sobrang tahimik kaya nagtaka na naman ako. It was unusually silent. Kumunot ang aking noo at nakita ang mga deities na dahan-dahang yumuko.

Anong nangyayari?

Natagpuan ko ang isang lalaki sa harap ni Chase. He was wearing a gold chiton and winged sandals. He looked the same age as Chase.

Nakapatong ang kanyang kamay sa balikat niya at tila may binubulong siya.

I stared at the man for a long time pero nabaling ang atensyon ko nang gumalaw si Typhon. He let out a shriek and sent another fireball on our way.

Before it could hit us, however, isang babae na nakasuot ng gintong armor ang bumagsak mula sa itaas. She was kneeling on one knee, holding a spear and a shield that she used to stop the impact.

I looked at the other deities and their heads were still lowered.

Not one of them was moving.

Typhon attempted to make a move again. For the second time, he made a fireball. Pinadala niya ito patungo sa Academy.

But it didn't even get close.

Sapagkat pinalibutan ito ng apoy at naging abo. A man with curly brown hair and a beard stood on the edge of the Academy with both his hands engulfed in flames.

Naalala ko ang sinabi ni Art sa'kin kaya't napatingin ako sa itaas. Dahan-dahang nagsara ang kalangitan. Naging makapal ang mga ulap.

Napansin ko ang apat na mga anemoi na nag anyong mga puting kabayo at tumakbo. Sinundan ko sila ng tingin.

Behind the deities, they vanished with the horizon.

Naghintay ako na bumalik sila. Sa laking gulat ko, bumalik nga sila pero may mga kasama na. They were tied with a golden chariot kung saan nakasakay ang isang lalaki at babae. Both of their eyes gleaming with immense power.

The King and the Queen of Olympus.

The four horses, together with the chariot, started to walk towards the earth.

Furthermore, men and women in gold clothes followed them.

"Dionysus isn't here. He's preparing for the afterparty."

Nagulat ako pagkatapos marinig ang boses ni Kara. At natagpuan ko ang aking sarili na pumagitna sa kanilang dalawa ni Dio.

Tumigil ang chariot na sinasakyan ng God at Goddess. Inangat na ng ibang deities ang kanilang mga ulo para salubungin sila.

"Why are they stopping?" narinig kong tanong ni Hypnos.

"What are you doing?! Attack!" nakakabinging sigaw ni Eris. Nagsimula nang umatake ang mga rebels pero wala pa ring gumagalaw sa'min.

It's as if they were waiting for someone.

At tama nga ang kutob ko dahil isa sa mga deities na nakasunod sa chariot ang gumalaw. She took five slow steps forward.

'Kneel.'

I gasped when my knees hit the soil. Well, every one of us, did.

Bumaba ang god at goddess na nakatayo sa chariot at nagsimulang maglakad. Katabi ang iba pang mga deities, dahan-dahan silang tumungo sa'min.

The clouds turned bright orange and thunder ruled the sky above them.

'You already lost a demigod.' ani Eris.

The God wearing a full armor stopped walking and gave us a knowing smile.

'My daughter is a phoenix, Eris.' malalim na boses ng lalaki ang narinig ko.

'From the ashes, she will rise.'

Napatingin ako sa lugar kung saan bumagsak si Ria. Gumalaw ito at lumiwanag.

Under the bits of rocks, a phoenix spread her red wings.

'Stand, my children.' lumitaw si Nyx sa gitna. 'We have all awaited this moment.'

Isa-isang tumayo ang mga rebels.

'Stand.'

A voice of a different woman said.

'for no mercy will touch this ground.'

'Only our wrath.'
