5 - Wild Mountain Thyme
"Dude it was so awesome."
"I know Dean, you've said that at least ten times already."
"But dude...Angel is hot in person. And almost kind of shy."
"Again, you've said this at least ten times."
Dean just gave this happy little sigh as Sam bitch faced him. It was the night after the meeting, and everyone had gone back to their hotel rooms.
"So did Gabriel actually go and find you?" Dean asked suddenly. "He said he would."
Sam's eyes went wide and a blush spread across his face. "I uh...um..."
Dean raised an eyebrow. "Did something happen?"
"Pretty sure he was trying to get me to sleep with him," Sam said quietly. Dean waited for Sam to say more. "I uh...I said no."
"Yeah I think he's too short for you anyway," Dean said, smirking. Sam smiled slightly at that. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, he didn't force himself on me or anything," Sam said. "I don't think he's going to give up though..."
"Yeah he seemed pretty determined when he got back," Dean said. "So. We're in LA. What do you want to do?"
"Sleep? It's almost midnight."
Dean glanced at the time. "Point taken."
"Yeah bitches you ain't sleeping with me around," Charlie said. Dean and Sam stared at her. "What? Your door was unlocked."
"What is it with you and open doors?" Sam asked.
"They call to me," Charlie whispered dramatically.
~~
"Sammy, you know what you said about Gabriel not giving up?" Dean said the next day as Sam walked out of his room. Charlie had crashed on their couch for unknown reasons and was now binge watching shows on their TV.
"Yes?" Sam said cautiously. Dean held up a ticket sheepishly.
"Well the winners all got a ticket to the concert on Sunday..."
"Your point?"
"Gabriel gave me an extra one," Dean said, shifting the tickets so both were visible. Sam blinked.
"Soo...I get to see Heaven's Grace in concert?" Sam said, getting excited.
"You also give Gabriel the chance to hit on you again."
Sam blinked. "But I get to see them in concert." Dean just stared at him.
"Sure, see it that way. Don't come running to me when Gabriel gets handsy."
Charlie glanced up. "You know, they'd be pretty cute together."
Dean gave her a wide eyed look. "Charlie no."
"Oh but if Sam and Gabriel were together, you'd get to see Angel more," Charlie said, smirking. Dean paused and then looked over at Sam.
"No," Sam said. "I will not get together with Gabriel so you can feed your weird obsession with Angel." Dean grumbled under his breath.

"Luci what even," Michael said, covering his mouth with his hand as he tried not to laugh. Luci did some extravagant pose in the dress.
"I'm fabulous," he said.
"Yeah sure you are," Michael said, smiling. Luci looked down at the dress he was wearing. Because this is the type of thing they did, they went to random shops and Luci tried on dresses.
Luci went and changed back into his normal clothes, throwing an arm around Michael's shoulders as they walked out of the shop. Michael subconsciously leaned against his side, putting an arm around Luci's waist as they walked. Any passerby's would've assumed they were a couple.
Luci just smiled fondly at Michael, and wondered at what point they became such good friends...
"Lucifer what are you doing..."
"Investigating," Lucifer said, looking around Michael's room. "Yep, this'll work." Michael just raised an eyebrow, going to the drum kit in the corner of his room.
"I apologize for making you come here," Michael said. "But drum kits aren't easy to move around."
"It's fine," Luci said, looking at all the band posters covering Michael's walls. "It's interesting."
"So when's Gabriel getting here?" Michael asked.
"He has to drop Cassie off at home first," Luci said. "He'll be over in about half an hour or so."
"So...wanna...play video games?" Michael was looking down, shuffling his feet shyly. Luci just smiled brightly.
"If you think you can beat the devil, you've got another thing coming." Luci smiled as Michael looked up at him, smiling widely with a competitive spark in his eyes.
Back to the real world, Luci just made sure Michael stayed tucked against his side as he spied a shop he wanted to go to and started running off.

Dean had gone out into the streets of LA again at some point, and back to that music shop they had found on the first day.
He looked at all the guitars, eyeing one particularly expensive one. It had a symbol on it, a pentagram in a sun.
"Anti-possession symbol," one of the workers said, with a British accent. "No idea why the guitar needs it. But it does look cool, doesn't it?"
"Yeah," Dean said, gazing at it longingly. The guy chuckled.
"Do you want to play it?" he asked.
"What?" Dean said, his eyes wide as he looked towards the guy. "I'm actually allowed to?"
"Well, you're a friend of my cousins so," the guy said. "Name's Balthazar, I saw you with Cassie the other day."
"Oh right, Cas," Dean said, his eyes brightening. Balthazar got the guitar off the display for him, and passed the guitar to Dean. Dean held it gently, and then sat down to play a few chords. He tuned it slightly and then started playing a song.
"Oh the summertime is coming," he sang softly. "And the trees are sweetly blooming...
Where the wild mountain thyme,
Grows around the blooming heather
Will you go, Lassie go?"
(Watch the video for the rest guys :P )
(I absolutely love Jensen singing this)
Balthazar stood to the side, watching. He barely glanced as someone in a trenchcoat came to stand beside him.
"You should keep him Cassie," Balthazar said. "With a voice like that..." Cas didn't reply, and Balthazar glanced over to see him staring with wide eyes at Dean.
Cas had been going over to the shop, since he liked playing the pianos there, when he recognized Dean's voice. And Dean sounded amazing in that moment...
Dean got to the last notes of the song and let them hang in the air, staying still for a moment before looking up at Balthazar and Cas.
"Cas!" he exclaimed, his eyes brightening as he stood up, seemingly forgetting for a moment that he was holding a very expensive guitar.
"I'll just take that," Balthazar said, taking the guitar from Dean. Dean barely glanced at it, he was too busy walking over to Cas. Cas was still in shock from Dean singing. He'd heard Dean sing for the competition, but it was better in real life.
"Why are you here?" Dean asked.
"I come here quite often," Cas said, blinking out of his trance. "The pianos here are good...I heard you singing so I came to listen." Dean smiled.
"What'd you think?"
"That was amazing..." Cas said quietly, smiling shyly at Dean.
"Thanks," Dean said, smiling. "I uh, used to sing that to Sam when he was younger." Cas smiled brightly because that was one of the sweetest things he'd ever heard. "So uh, how goes life?"
"Other than dealing with my consistently annoying brothers, it's great," Cas said.
"Wait," Dean said. "You're Gabriel's brother...that means you're related to Angel too." Cas froze. "That would explain the eyes."
"The eyes?"
"You both have the same blue eyes. Your hair is kinda similar too."
Cas blinked. "Yeah...we're...twins..." Dean stared for a moment.
"Oh my god," he said. "You're the twin brother of Angel." Dean smirked slightly. "So what's his actual name?"
"Oh no I'm not telling you that," Cas said. "I respect his privacy. If he doesn't want to be known, then that's fine."
"But it's just me," Dean said. "What am I going to do?"
"Anyone could just say that," Cas pointed out.
"Yeah good point," Dean said. "So uh...can I actually have your phone number this time?" Cas smiled brightly and nodded, pulling out his phone to give it to Dean. Dean put his phone number in and sent himself a text. He gave the phone back to Cas.
"So I promised I'd be back to Sam soon," Dean said. "So hey, I'll see you some other time okay?" Cas nodded.
"See you later Dean," he said. Dean smiled and waved as he walked away, leaving Cas alone in the shop.
Balthazar walked back to Cas, who had an odd little smile on his face. "He doesn't know you're both," he stated.
"No," Cas said. "And I don't plan on telling him."
"Why?" Balthazar said. "He's practically in love with you already."
"That's the point," Cas said, a little sadly. "I don't want someone to like me for 'Angel'. Or just for the music I create. Can't someone like me for me for once?"
"I guess," Balthazar said. "But...you like Dean."
Cas smiled slightly. "Since I heard him sing...I want to get to know him better."
"Sooo you go stalk him to a music shop?"
"I actually was here to play the pianos."
"Sure you were Cassie."
Castiel just glared. "Oh one more thing," he said, smiling suddenly. "I wanna buy the guitar Dean was using."
"Wow, gathering things he's touched, stalkerish much?"
"It's a gift you assbutt."
"From who?" Balthazar asked. "Castiel or Angel?"
Cas didn't reply.

Gabriel looked over at Luci and Michael who were talking to each other. "Hey when do you guys think we'll get to do another karaoke?"
"Probably soon," Michael said. "Why?"
"I wanna invite Sam and drag him up on stage with me."
"That's totally how you get boyfriends," Luci said. "Worked for me."
"You've never had a boyfriend," Michael said.
"But it worked," Lucifer said, smirking. Michael just gave him a look of confusion as Gabriel rolled his eyes.
"He means you Michael," Gabe said blankly. Michael blinked before nudging Lucifer.
"Idiot," he said as Lucifer just chuckled. "But Gabriel, maybe you should just try being nice for once? Ask him out politely?"
"Not in my nature," Gabe said. He stood up to leave the room, glancing between Michael and Luci before shaking his head as he left. "Just make out already," he muttered, too quiet for them to hear.
"So," Luci said. "Wanna play video games?"
"I'll win," Michael said, immediately going to set up the game. "I damn will one of these days." Luci just smirked.
"Aww what?" Michael said, looking at the screen in dismay. "How did you..."
"I'm satan remember," Lucifer said, smirking.
"But I'm good at this game," Michael muttered. "I demand a rematch." Luci just smirked as Michael gave him a determined look.
"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you," Luci said.
When Gabriel finally arrived, Michael and Lucifer were concentrating deeply on their game of Mario Kart. Gabriel just looked between them and sensed the beginning of his third wheeling.

Yeah so quite a lot of Michifer's story will be told in flashbacks, because I mean they were already close friends xD I do that on instinct, oops.
