12 - Future Dates
Sam was sitting on his bed...well, the bed he was currently using at the Novak's house. He was lying back on the bed, headphones on while reading a book. Dean had come back from the studio an hour or so ago, but was looking around for Cas with an odd determined look in his eyes.
A knock came on Sam's door, which he barely heard over the headphones. He sighed and took them off, looking to the door. "Come in," he called. The door opened to show Gabriel standing there.
"Heya kiddo," Gabe said, smiling slightly.
"Don't call me kiddo, I'm taller than you," Sam said, glaring as he sat up.
"But I'm older than you," Gabe said, smirking. "Can I share exasperation with you at the stupidity of our brothers?"
"Sure," Sam said, and Gabe bounced over to sit beside Sam.
"Angel just told Dean to ask out Cas," Gabe said simply. Sam blinked, letting this process in his mind.
"But...Angel is Cas," Sam said. "Cas told Dean to ask him out."
"Yes but Dean doesn't know and they're so stupid," Gabe whined. "Like seriously, how blind can someone be?"
"Maybe it runs in your family," Sam said. "I mean, look at Michael and Lucifer."
"So they're obvious too then," Gabe said. "But they're just...how do they not know that they're in love?" Sam just shrugged. "Wait if it runs in the family, then what about me?"
"I don't know, is there anything you're oblivious too?" Sam said, smirking slightly.
"No?" Gabe said. "Although if I was oblivious to something, then I wouldn't know what it was because I'd be oblivious."
"Exactly," Sam said. "So there probably is." Gabe just pouted.
"Well anyway Samantha," Gabe said.
"Don't call me Samantha," Sam said, glaring.
"Whatever you say Samsquatch," Gabe said, smirking as Sam just sighed. "Anyway, you spend a lot of time holed up in here, you should get out more often."
"Does getting out include going through your house, because this place is honestly big enough," Sam said and Gabe chuckled.
"I bet you'd get lost without one of us to guide you," Gabe said.
"I wouldn't," Sam said.
"Wanna bet?" Gabe said, smirking.
"Fine," Sam said.
"If you get lost, then you have to give me a date," Gabe said, still smirking as Sam froze.
"I uh...fine," Sam said, sighing. "If I win...you stop trying to get me to go out with you."
"Agreed," Gabe said. "You'll get lost though."
"Are you so sure?" Sam said.
"Yep," Gabe said, smiling before standing up and walking over to the door. "Find the back door, I'll be waiting out back." And with that he was gone.
Sam blinked and wondered what he had just agreed to.

Cas walked in through the front door of the house, closing the door very quietly behind him. He glanced around, before walking very slowly and quietly towards the stairs.
He looked like Cas...but was wearing Angel's clothes. Smart.
"Cassie is that you?" Luci called through the house and Cas's eyes went wide before he darted for his room. He made it up the stairs before he heard Dean's voice calling for him too. Then he ran into his room and slammed the door behind him.
He found normal clothes and his favourite trenchcoat as fast as he could, throwing off his Angel clothes and putting the normal clothes on. Just as he finished he heard a tentative knock on his door.
"Cas, you in there?" Dean said quietly, almost nervously. Because you know, Cas had pretty much told Dean to ask him out.
"Yes Dean," Cas said. He quickly shoved the Angel clothes into his wardrobe. "You can come in."
Dean opened the door and walked in slowly. He'd never actually been in Cas's room before because that would cause complications. Which Cas probably should've remembered.
"So," Dean said a bit awkwardly. "Why'd you run to your room?"
"My phone was dying," Cas said, pointing at his phone which he'd quickly plugged in before. Dean chuckled lightly.
"Of course, gotta look after the important things," Dean said. There was a moment of silence. "So uh...I was wondering..."
Cas's current thoughts: Oh crap I actually got him to ask me out, what have I gotten myself into?
"Would you like to go out with me sometime?" Dean asked. "Like, on a date?"
Cas smiled. "I would love to Dean." Dean smiled brightly and almost sheepishly.
"So...I don't know any cool places around here, do you?" he asked.
Cas chuckled. "I know a few. But you asked me out. So you have to find somewhere."
"Oh come on," Dean whined. "Fine. And it'll be amazing." He turned to walk out of the room.
"You're going to ask my brothers aren't you?" Cas called after him.
"Maybe," Dean called back. "Angel should know what places you like." And then he was gone leaving Cas with thoughts of oh shit.

"Hey Luci I'm going to go out for a while," Michael said, walking up to where Luci was lounging around on a couch.
"Oo where are we going?" Luci asked, jumping up. Michael sighed.
"Luce, I said I'm going out," Michael said. "Me. Not us." Luci blinked, not comprehending the possibility that Michael would want to go somewhere without him.
"But..." Luci said, confusion and hurt on his face.
"I'll be back in a few hours, I'm sure you can live that long without me," Michael said.
"But Mikey we do everything together," Luci said, frowning.
"That's not always a good thing," Michael said. "I just need a bit of alone time right now okay?"
"Are you okay?" Luci asked, concern suddenly spreading across his expression.
"Fine," Michael said. "You know I love you guys and everything, but constant exposure to you all can get irritating."
"Oh..." Luci said. "Uh..."
"See you later Luci," Michael said, before walking out of the room, leaving a very confused and sad Lucifer.
MICHIFER FLASHBACK TIME WOO
Wait crap I don't know what the flashback is yet...
Okay got it :D
"I bet you I could pick up that guy over there," a slightly drunk Gabriel said.
"Go on, do it," Luci said, smirking. "Make a fool of yourself."
Gabe glared, before standing up to go hit on some poor victim, totally not stumbling a bit on the way.
"Why did we decide a bar was a good idea?" Michael asked.
"It's his birthday," Luci said. "We had to do something."
"We left Castiel alone."
"He's still underage, they wouldn't let him in."
"Since when are you responsible?"
"Since he would totally be a buzzkill."
Michael sighed, taking a sip from his drink.
"Maybe I should try and find you some cute guy while we're here," Luci said. "You need to loosen up a bit."
"Seriously?" Michael said, rolling his eyes. "You know what, fine. I'll try to go home with someone. If they approach us first."
Luci pouted. "Well, good looking guy like you, someone has to right?"
"No one ever has," Michael muttered.
"What?" Luci said. "But why?"
"I wonder," Michael muttered sarcastically to himself. Not because he thought he was too ugly or something. But because he was well aware of how him and Luci looked. Luci, half drunk, sitting way too close and leaning in when he talked, glaring at anyway who so much as glanced at his best friend.
Michael ended up taking a very drunk Lucifer home while Gabriel was no where to be found. That was probably the start of Gabe's well known habit of having one night stands with people.
Back to current time though...
Michael walked down the streets to his favourite bar. He was at that point in life where he couldn't help but notice other couples and feel a bit lonely himself.
But he'd never get anywhere with Luci hanging off him every single moment.

Sam looked at the back door of the house. It wasn't that hard to find, he'd memorized the layout of the house in his spare time. It was a complicated house.
He could walk through the door now and prove Gabriel wrong and never have Gabriel bother him again.
Alternatively...
Sam walked back through the house, finding some random hallway to stand in. "Gabriel?" he called out, loud enough that Gabe would be able to hear him from outside. Gabe came running, smirking slightly.
"Lost Samantha?" Gabe asked.
Sam rolled his eyes. "It's a big house."
"So does this mean you owe me a date?" Gabe asked, smiling.
"I guess so," Sam said, smiling softly at Gabe's sudden excitement. Then Gabe stopped.
"Hold up a second, you don't seem defeated at all," Gabe said. "If you had gotten lost, you'd look really annoyed and tired right now." Sam didn't say anything. "Did you purposely just lose the bet?"
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't," Sam said, smirking slightly, before ruffling Gabe's hair. "You'll never know." And then he walked off back towards his room, knowing exactly how to get there.
Gabe just stood there, letting what had just happened process in his mind.
