Tonight was a special night for the Sonic gang. Tails was  hosting a party to celebrate their acheivments and everyone was invited. Aurora the hedgehog was overjoyed. She loved partys. But she was also a little nervous. Tails had asked her if she can sing some songs for the party. Aurora was naturally a very good singer and everyone knew it. She loved to sing but she always got just a little nervous. She just couldn't say no to her uncle tails so she agreed. But right now just a few minutes before the party. Aurora is annoyed. Shadow the hedgehog doesn't want to go to the party with her. She was really looking foward to going with Shadow even if her dad didn't agree with it.
  "What do you mean you're not going" Aurora yelled "You can't NOT go"
   "You know I can't stand social events" he said calmly as he sat on the window sill and looked at a flower. Shadow had to come through the window since Sonic would never allow Shadow to go into Aurora's room alone with her.
   "But... I'm going to be performing there. Aren't you going to support me" she yelled a little hurt now that Shadow didn't seem to care about her performing. This moment is very important for her and she wants Shadow there to support her.
  "I'll stop by to send you my well wishes. I'm sure you'll be perfect" he said still staring at the flower.
  "Remember when you said you loved me. When you said you'll do ANYTHING for me" she yelled sounding angry.
  "That didn't include Dinner parties" replied Shadow
  "Excuse me!? Oh i'm sorry I missed the FINEPRINT on that one." Aurora said. She felt so angry at Shadow. Sometimes she wished Shadow wasn't such a loner.
  "OOOOOH. You dumb, old stubborn...GRAHHH!! Shadow smirked at Aurora's amusing behavior. He didn't think she would this mad about it. He just doesn't like social events. He doesn't like to have to conversate with people. And he especially doesn't want to see that blue faker even if that is Aurora's father.
  "Fine if you're going to be like that then i'll make sure I dance with every single guy there" Aurora said as she walked over behind her curtain to get changed. She had found this amazing dress at the mall yesterday and it was just amazing. Once shadow sees the dress he will want to make sure that no guys start coming after me. He'll be forced to come.
   "Ha! As if that stubborn father of yours would ever allow that" Shadow said as he turned his head away from Aurora.
   "Please, he will be so relieved that i'm over you. He'll be overjoyed."
   "He wouldn't" Shadow started to have second thoughts "Would he." It was true. Sonic hated to see Aurora dating Shadow. He always did whatever was in his power to keep them apart. He even tried to get Aurora interested into other guys but it never worked.
"Well. I hope you have a fabulous time. By. Your. Self." Aurora said as she walked out from behind the curtain reveling her beautiful apperance. She was wearing a light green dress that was knee high level. It had a beautiful black strap that went around her waist and had a bow in the back. The sleeves were see-through and had a beautiful floral fabric. She was wearing matching green and black high heel shoes. She also had her regular white gloves with black braclets on both of her wrists. Her front bangs were beautifully curled and to top it off she had a flower pinned onto her quills. She looked absolutely stunning. The minute shadow saw her a light blush appeared across his face.
   "Whoa. I -I didn't know you were going dressed liked.... THAT!" he said as he stared at her. 
  "Lets get goin' tiny!" called Sonic from downstairs. Tiny was a cute nickname Sonic had gave Aurora when she was little. Aurora turned around and angrily headed downtairs.
   "Goodnight, grumphog" she said
   "Aurora, wait!" yelled Shadow. But it was too late. Aurora was already out the door and heading to the party. Shadow instantly began to feel worried. He knew what Aurora said was true. And he knew that if he didn't show up Aurora would dance with almost every guy there and Sonic wasn't going to do a thing about it. Whenever you get Aurora angry she always finds a way to get back at you and this was the perfect way to do it. He knew what he had to do. He wasn't going to like it but he has to.
  "I gotta find a suit" He said as he jumped off the window and ran off in search of a suit.

( Meanwhile at the party)

  "Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Sonic the hedgehog and family"
   "Welcome hedgehog family" said CC. CC is gray and white cat like robot (Or at least i think she is cat). She has features that make her look and feel like and actual being. She even has body warmth and a heartbeat. You wouldn't be able to tell if she is a robot.
   "Thank Chaos your here" said Tails
   "You all look wonderful but Sonic. Isn't it customary to wear a bowtie to BlackTie events" asked CC.
   "Thats what i've been telling him" said Amy as she put a hand on Sonic shoulders. Sonic crossed his arms.
  "I put pants on didn't I" he said souding a little annoyed.
  "Oh we are all so proud of you babe" she said with a baby voice as she pinched his cheecks.
  "Knock it off Ames" said Sonic a little embarrassed. They both walked off together into the party. Aurora walked to her uncle tails who seemed to look a little stressed.
   "Is something wrong Uncle tails" Aurora asked a little worried.
    "On no no no. These rich snobs are just a handful thats all. I can't wait to hear your singing, Lightning bug." he reasurred her. The man on the microphone kept introducing   each family that walked through the door.
   "Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Knuckles the enchinada and family" he said.
    "Welcome all of you" said CC.
    "Thank you for having us. Boys what do you say" Rouge said as she looked down at her two sons who both kinda looked like hyenas with large ears like Rouge.
    "Thank you for invitng us to this elagant affair" Knuckles, and their two sons said in unison.
    "I didn't mean you too Knuckles" Rouge said as she glared at Knuckles. The two boys then saw Aurora. They loved Aurora. They both ran up to her and called her name.
   "Hey T-bone. Hey Ruff" greeted Aurora "I've never seen you boys looking so fresh"
   "Mom put snot in our fur" said T-bond as he hugged her
   "Hair gel, T-bone. But it might as well be snot. Bleh!" said Ruff.
   "My date stood me up. Maybe I can steal a dance with you two so I don't have to spend the entire evening by myself." She asked sounding a little disappointed that Shadow hadn't shown up.
  "That won't be necessary" said a familiar voice. She turned around and was amazed with what she saw.

Aurora was very happy that Shadow was able to make it. She just knew that Shadow wasn't going to allow her to dance with other men. It was actually kinda funny when you think about it. Aurora blushed at the sight of him.
  "Rrrrreow" she purred as she pushed her bangs out of her face to get a better look at him. Sonic instantly noticed this and became fueled with anger. Sonic was actually pretty relieved when he thought Shadow wasn't going to make it to the party. He didn't want Aurora to be doing anything with him.
  "You watch your mouth young lady" he yelled in the backround. Aurora wasn't even paying attention to him. All of her attention was focused on Shadow.
   "I'm glad you changed your mind" she said.
   "Me too. I'm sorry about earlier. You look phenomenal" Shadow said.
    "Back off creep" Shadow was interrupted by Sonic who was giving Shadow a death glare.
    "Oh, I didn't realize compliments were against the rules. Great parenting skills, Sonic." Shadow replied now glaring back at Sonic. Sonic quietly growled. He looked like he was going to punch Shadow straight in the face. But Amy was already in between them and separateing them from each other.
    "Now listen. We are all going to get along and not fight at our friends party. Or so help me I will beat you both into the ground" Amy said with a demanding tone. While Amy was struggling to keep them away from each other. CC and tails had walked past them and giggled.
     "Curious. I was looking foward to seeing Sticks attend" said CC sounding a little disappointed. CC found Sticks to be an interesting being and she liked to study her strange and different behavior.
   "Don't take it personally this isn't really Sticks 'thing'" answered Tails.
But Sticks was watching over the party through a nearby  window.
"Thought you could a fast one on Sticks, eh? Inviting me to your evil robot party! said Sticks as she pressed her face against the window. "I got my eye on you."

(About an 1 hour later)

Aurora's performance has finally started. She took a deep breathe and went on stage. Everyone was already standing up ready to dance to Aurora's singing. She started to sing a song called I got a crush on you by Stacey Kent. It was a beautiful song mostly meant for slow dances.
   Everyone was happily dancing with their parters. Rouge was dancing with T-bone and Ruff. She twirled them around as the music went on.
  "May we dance now?" asked CC as she held out her hand to tails.
   "I... I actually don't know how" answered Tails nervously. CC smirked as an idea poped into her head. With quick feet she tripped tails with her feet causing him to start falling backwards. She quickly took his hand and used her other hand to catch his back. CC had now dipped tails.
    "You are encouraged to step on my feet if you require assistance" she said looking down at him.
    "Y'know the roles are normally reversed but hey, let's wing it!" he said. Sonic and amy were also dancing happily together.
    "Oh Sonic. Whenever we dance together it's like the world stops spinning" said Amy
   "Uh-oh. said Sonic. "I'd better fix that. Sonic picked amy up bridal style and playfully spun her around. And Shadow. Well since Aurora was up on stage singing. He couldn't dance with were. So he danced with some random girl instead. He was not too happy about it.
   "Sorry you're stuck dancing with me while your women sings. At least i'm pretty right" she asked.
   "Ya ya" Shadow said annoyed. He wasn't even paying attention. He was too busy looking at Aurora wishing he could dance with her instead.
    After Aurora was done with her song a few people went back to the party to talk and eat. Aurora still had a few more songs to go over so Shadow stayed to cheer her on. Meanwhile Amy went over to go chat with CC
  "So how are things with tails" Amy asked in a playful tone. A distressed look quickly fell upon CC's face.
   "Mostly pleasant. Though there continues to be a language barrier at times." CC said as she played with her fingers. "It is so peculiar. In my former life my purpose was to translate languages between computers, yet with Tails there is still so much I do not understand."
   "Oh don't worry CC, it will come with time. Me and Sonic are so close now we don't even talk with words anymore" said Amy. CC was confused. How could you commincate without words. Maybe they use sign language or something like that.
  "Here, watch this" said Amy. She looked around the room until she found Sonic not to far off in the distance talking to Tails and some beaver. She thumped her hands on the table twice to get Sonics attention. Sonic's ears twitched and he looked behind him to see what the noise was. When he turned around he saw amy drinking her wine and giving him a seductive look

   Sonic instantly blushed and got the message.
   "It worked" said CC astonished "What did you tell him?"
   "Oh just that we forgot something back at the house" she said taking a sip of her wine. Sonic instantly arrived and picked her up bridal style.
   "Sorry CC, I'm going to steal my wife from you for a bit" he said. Before CC could even reply Sonic was already out the door and CC had amy's cup.
  "Impressive" she said

(30 minutes later)

Knuckles look down at the delicous turkey that was in front of him. He couldn't wait to eat it. Just as he was about to eat it his son T-bone appeared
  "Dad. Can I please have the leg. I swear i'll only take just the leg" he begged. Knuckles couldn't resist him. He was just too cute.
  "Sure you can bud. Just give me your pl-. Knuckles was cut off by the sound of a girl screaming He turned around to look at the scene
"IT'S MINE AT LAST" T-bone yelled as he ran away with one of CC's legs.
  "Return my appendege or I will exact the Law of Tailon upon you! CC screamed as she tried her best to catch up to him with only one leg. Ruff was following not too far behind.
"That's the spirit T-bone lets stuff this fancy party" he screamed. Wow. Knuckles thought he wanted the turkey not somone else's limbs. Rouge then appeared next to him with a bunch a jewerly.
   "Okay so while everyone was focusing on the kids I accidentally stole all this stuff." said Rouge. "Oh this looks delicious". Knuckles was a little embarrassed with all the attention the kids were grabbing and with all the jewels Rouge was STEALING. He quickly took a swig of his drink.
      Some time went by and everyone was having a good time even though a lot of people were starting to get drunk. Shadow had just finished listening to another one of Aurora's songs. As he was clapping he felt a hand rest on his shoulder. He turned around to see Sonic looking really REALLY drunk.

"C'm'ere" he said as he turned him around and started to lead him somewhere else
    " As much as i'd love to knock you off your drunk tail tonight, need I remind you that we agreed not to fight tonight"  Shadow said.
    "Ya ya just keep walkin' tough guy" said Sonic in a low tone. He was barely even listening to anything Shadow had to say. He was barely aware of his surroundings. All he knew was that he was directing Shadow towards a bar. They both sat down in some chairs.
   "Wait, I don't understand" said Shadow, confused by Sonics behavior.
   "Bartender! Get this pipsqeek a drink over here!" Sonic yelled as he smack Shadows back.
   "You don't have to do that" said Shadow. It was clear to Shadow that Sonic was already drunk and he didn't think it was a good idea for him to continue drinking or for himself to drink either. Whenever Shadow drank he could get descrutive.
   "Oh bu' ah do. See i've come to the painful realization that i'm stuck with you. So le's juss drink up. Lemme pick yere brain. That's what in-laws do right?" Sonic said as he began poking shadow on his forehead.
    "Get your finger out my face before I rip it off your hand." Shadow said angrily. The bartender then arrived with both of their drinks.
   "Cheers you son of a- Oh wait, are you even old enough to drink little Granpa baby? Sonic asked sarcastically. Shadow just stared at him for a few seconds until he snatched the drink out of his hand causing Sonic to smirk. Sonic and Shadow kept drinking until eventually they got drunk. They must of had at least 7 drinks. Aurora was finally done with all of her performances. As she was walking around the party she caught Uncle tails looking around a corner at someone. She wondered what he was looking at. She went to go see and she saw Shadow and Sonic drinking and actually getting along.
   "What did i miss did they kill each other?" she asked.
   "No they've just been... talking" he said. Shadow and Sonic almost never talk to each other unless there fighting.
   "I juss can't believe my daughter had to pick a genetically engineered mutant to date" said Sonic. Out of nowhere Shadow started to burst out laughing.
  "And juss what are you laughing at?" asked Sonic in a annoyed tone.
   "I just pictured the Biolizard showin up a'cher door in a tux like ' HEY POPS!" said Shadow trying not to laugh.
  "Nooooooo. HOHOHOHO" Sonic burst out laughing. " But daddy I love him! A-A Aurora, IT'S A SALAMANDER". Sonic said as he tried his best to sound like Aurora. They both burst out laughing.
    "Shhhh. Stahp. STAHP, IT HURTS." said Shadow as he tried to calm down his laughter.
   "I love you man, but I stillll wanna kick your teeth in". Sonic said as he put is arm around Shadow.
   "An' yer like my friend, but i can't friggin stand you." said Shadow as he also put his arm around Sonic
   "WE SHOULD DO KAROKE!" Sonic screamed out.
   "YES" Shadow yelled back.
   "My dad and my Boyfriend are making drunk jokes about me" Aurora said as she stared and her dad and her boyfriend. This was a sight that they might never see again.
   "Well, at least their bonding?" Tails said not completely sure.
   After a while the party had gone completely nuts. Everyone was either drunk, completely insane, or have been thrown in a dumpster by sticks.
    "Sticks threw me in a DUMPSTER" Aurora yelled out. She looked down at her new dress that was now covered in mud durt and trash.
   "YOU ALL MUST BE CLEANSED OF YOUR HOITY-TOITY FACADE" Sticks yelled.
  Amy was somewhere else in the party juggling a bunch of random stuff. Such as a necklace some glasses and even someones teeth.
   "C'mon throw something else in. I can keep this up for ages" Amy said as she continued juggling.
   "That a family heirloom" someone said.
    "Give me my teeth back" said Leroy as he reached for his teeth.
   "Put your party pants on Leroy!" said Amy. Even Sonic and Shadow were singing together on stage.
   "Hate is a strong word. But I really really really don't like you!" they sang together.
   "GET OFF THE STAGE" some guy in the crowd screamed. Shadow grabbed one of the Microphone stands and raised it up in the air.
   "I'LL FUGGIN KILL YOU" Shadow screamed.
   "Shadow Stop!" Sonic yelled and he then continued singing. "In the name of looovvee".
    "I am the ultimate karoke...Er. Ah, I'mm the coolest!" Shadow yelled angrily.
  "You have to give it all back Rouge. Your thieving days are behind you" Knuckles said as he threw rouge over his shoulder.
  "You can't make me you STUBBORN BRUTE!" Rouge yelled. Everyone was going mad. Even tails and CC couldn't take it any more.
   "T-bone, you get down here and give CC her leg back" said Tails. T-bone was sitting happily at the top of the chandelier with CC's leg.
   "Give it back T-bone. Her hand won't stop attacking me." yelled Ruff.

"Well i've been set on fire. That's my cue to go home, Loved the party" some random fox said. Eggman was watching them in a chair in the corner of the room. CC was sitting next to him impatiently waiting to get her leg and hand back.
   "Wow this party went to hell and i had nothing to do with it" said Eggman as he lifted his mask to get a better look at the catastrophe in front of him. CC gave him and angry glance. Eggman quickly put his mask back on which was a picture of sonic drawn onto a plate.

(The next day)
The next day Sonic had woken up on the floor with Shadow laying next to him. He had also just woken up. He looked around to see where he was and he saw he was surrounded by blankets and Pillows.
   "Why am I on the floor? Why am I wearing clothes. Why is he in my house?" Sonic said as he tried to remember everything that happened last night.
   "Ughhh. Shut uuuup. Your voice is even more annoying than usual" Shadow said as he rubbed his head. Amy was sitting in a nearby chair.
   "Well lets see" Amy started "The two of you drank the place dry and refused to be seperated for the rest of the night so you invited Shadow over to build a pillow fort. Oh and you both thought it would be hilarious to bring up embarrassing Aurora stories. She made you both breakfast though. Guess she's not that bitter about it." They both looked in front of them to find a tray with orange juice, eggs with bacon, and a note with a picture attached to it.
  The letter read...
  Good Morning
    I thought you guys might be hungry so i made you this! No hard feelings right? Oh and I took the liberty of developing the photos from last night. Don't worry about distributing them. By the time you wake up I'll have already hand delivered them to everyone ;) P.S this one is my fav.

  "Oh wait, yes she is" Amy said.
  "Oh sweet Choas" Sonic cried.
  "I give you permission to kill me now" Shadow said. Amy smirked
  "That's my girl" she said.
   Back at Tails house CC was working on some new upgrades. She was still a little annoyed about the party last night. She had worked all night after everyone left and she finally got her leg back. Tails had soon walked in and saw CC working.
  "So, you didn't come to bed last night.. you decided to work instead?" Tails asked.
   "I do not require sleep remember?" CC replied.
    "Yes but... i'm sorry about the party last night" Tails said. Tails felt kinda bad because the party did get out of hand last night. It took a while for CC to be able to get her leg back.
    "You are forgiven. However I revoke your privilege to host any more of these events" CC said as she continued to work.
     "Actually now that you mention it. I already agreed that we wou-". Before Tails could even finish his sentence CC had her guns and blades poniting straight at him.
     "I forbid the hosting of future events" CC repeated.
      "HOLY CRUD. CC I was kidding!" Tails shrieked.
       "Regulate your heartbeat it was only a taunt. I could not harm you even if I tried" CC instantly realized what she had said and became confused why she felt this way around tails. "What is wrong with me? Some type of firewall in my chest cavity. I may need to install some upgrades" CC thought. Tails quickly calmed down
  "I'm sorry again. And uh you.... Well you. You looked really pretty last night. I meant to tell you earlier. IIII'll just get to work now" Tails said as he reached for his lab coat.
   "I completed most of today's task while you were sleeping. I propose the idea to use the spare time to do a leisurely activity together. Perhaps to "Make Up" for last night so to speak." CC said "And you looked quite "pretty" as well" A light blush appeared across Tails face.
