Sonic was in a dark room. Everything shattered, broken, lost, and nowhere to be found. Just like his mind.

Ever since Amy left, his whole life went upside down.

"Why?" He asked himself miserably. "Why did I had to make that foolish decision long ago?"

~Flashback~

Amy knocked on Sonic's door, angry and pouting about their missed date. She was wearing a pink dress that went to her knees, a red cardigan, brown boots, and her quills were up in a ponytail. "Ugh...Sonic!" She yelled. "Open the door!" Amy was 18 at the time. Today was their 3rd year together and Sonic promised that he'll take Amy on a awesome date. (Puhleeze~) Amy's hand went to the doorknob and twisted it. IT WAS SURPRISINGLY UNLOCKED. (Oh mah gawd) She went in and looked for her hero. "Sonic? Where are you?" Amy yelled out. She stopped at her tracks when she heard a low groan. Eh? Where is that sound coming from? That's strange...it's coming from upstairs. Amy walked up the steps and stumbled across the colbalt hedgehog's room. Ahh, so that's where that racket is coming from!

The door was slightly opened and Amy went in. Seeing something she shouldn't have seen.

OH. MY. GOD.

SONIC. IN THE BED. IN A POSITION. WITH NONE OTHER THAN SALLY FRUKING ACORN. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

"S-Sonic...?"

"A-A-AMY!" Sonic yelped and got off of Sally, who was smirking the whole time.

"Listen, it's not what it looks like!" He chuckled as he tried to hug Amy. "Don't give me that crap..." Amy grumbled under her breath. "How could you?" She asked. "Please Amy...let me--" "YOU DAMN BASTARD! AFTER ALL I DONE FOR YOU?!" She yelled as tears came flowing down her tan cheeks. "Amy I swear--" "I DON'T CARE! I DON'T IF YOU LOVE ME ANYMORE! I DON'T CARE IF YOU LOVE SALLY! ALL I CARE ABOUT IS FOR YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE FOREVER!" She said as she went out the door. And with that, Amy left Station Square. PERIOD. Sally tried to cheer up Sonic but she was only making it worse. Oh well, Sonic had gotten pretty tired of Sally and kicked her out of his house. PFFFT.

~Flashback END.~

It had been 3 years since that day.

Sonic had never been this messed up before.

"Sonic? Are you there?" He heard a knock at the door and a voice. That sounded like the two-tailed mechanic! Sonic walked up to the door and answered it. "What's up, Tails?" He asked at the fox. Tails chuckles. "A special friend is back in Station Square!" Tails smiles. "Oh really?" Sonic asked once more. "But not now..." "Oh come on Sonic! Just say hi to her and leave!" Her? The depressed hero sighs. "Alright..."

Sonic and Tails walked back to the HQ and saw something that Sonic shouldn't haven't seen. It was her. Long pink quills that reached to her waist. A yellow dress that reached to her knees, yellow flats, and a yellow head band. She had jade green orbs and was beautiful in Sonic's eyes. But there was one problem...her belly looks like it was gonna burst. "A-Amy...?" Sonic blurted out. "Hi Sonic!" She smiled. That's strange, I thought she was gonna be ignoring him..."So how are you after all these years?" Amy asked. "O-oh f-fine..." Sonic stuttered. "I'll leave you two alone..." Tails said as he left the room. "S-so how's l-life for y-you?" He asked. Amy giggled. "Amazing!"

Before they noticed, they were sitting down chatting away. "Say Ames," Sonic asked with her nickname. "Are you gaining weight or something?" Amy stops. "O-Oh silly me I forgot to tell you..." She said. "I'm married." WOAH WOAH WOAH. That hit Sonic rigggghhhhttt in his kokoro. She's married? "R-Really?" He asked with shock. Amy nods. "Yeah, we're also expecting a child on our hands." Sonic couldn't believe it. He just couldn't. His ex? Married to a unknown dude? Now pregnant with that dude's child? OH NOOOOOOO.

"Who is it?" Sonic asked. "What?" "Who's the guy?" "Oh, his name is Shadow..." THE DUDE IS SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG?! "Shadow...oh i see..." Sonic said with a sad look. Amy looks at him. "I have to go now...bye." She said as she left the HQ in silence.

Now, Sonic doesn't have his thoughts anymore.

He officially lost his mind.
