At the outside gate of the palace, the people of Agrabah were gathered to hear the news from their sultan, who was standing on the balcony.

"People of Agrabah! My daughter has finally chosen a suitor!" Knuckles announced.

Flame was wearing her purple engagement dress while peaking a bit through the curtains, then she heard Sonic calling out her name.

"Flame?"
"Sahib where have you been?" Flame asked as she went downstairs.

"There's something l gotta tell you." Sonic said but Flame grabbed his arm and brought him upstairs.

"The whole kingdom has turned out for Knuckles' announcement." Flame said cheerfully.

"Wait! Flame, listen! Please!" Sonic tried to get her attention. She smiled as she fixed his turban hat.

"Go out now." Flame pushed Sonic out through the curtains.

"Prince Sahib Antarah!" Knuckles announces. The crowd cheered as Sonic waved while smiling nervously. "Uh...hehe..Oh boy.."

While the crowd was cheering for Sonic, Mephiles was looking out the window as he watched the whole thing.

"Look at them, cheering at that pipsqueak!" Jet said bitterly.

Mephiles grinned evilly and rubbed the lamp. "Let them cheer." He said as he saw Saphie come out from of the golden lamp.

"You know, Sonic. I'm getting really..." Saphie looked up, expecting to see Sonic but saw Mephiles instead. "..I don't think you're him. Tonight be part of Sonic will be played by a tall dark sinister ugly hedgehog." She looked at Mephiles.

Then Mephiles pushed her to the floor. "I'm your master now!"

"I was afraid of that." Saphie lowered her ears.

"Genie, grant me my first wish. I wish to rule on high. As sultan!" Mephiles ordered.

Dark clouds suddenly surrounded the palace along with strong weather. The roof of the balcony flew off and Knuckles hovered in the air.

"What is happening? What is happening? Whoa wow!" Knuckles' clothes except his underwear goes to Mephiles.

"MUAHAHAHAHA!"

"Mephiles! You vile betrayer!" Knuckles glared.

"Sultan vile betrayer to you!" Jet spat.

"Oh, yeah? We'll just see about that!" Sonic removes his turban to get the lamp but it wasn't there, "The lamp...!" he gasped.

"Hahahaha! Finders keepers, Sahify." Mephiles cackled.

They turned to see a gigantic Saphie picking up the whole palace. Sonic whistled for the Carpet who flies up to him. The crowd ran away from the giant Saphie.

"Saph! No!" Sonic screamed to her.

"I'm sorry blueberry, I got a new master now." Saphie said sadly, placing the palace on a cliff.

"No...!" Sonic gasped.

"Mephiles! I order you to stop!" Knuckles yelled out.

"Oh but it's not your orders now, my orders. Finally you will bow to me!" Mephiles said.

"We will never bow to you!" Flame glared at Mephiles.

"Why am I not surprised?" Jet blabbered.

"If you won't bow before a Sultan! Then you will cower before a sorcerer! Genie! My second wish! I wish to be the most powerful sorcerer in THE WORLD!" Mephiles shouted. Saphie holds one hand for his eyes and a finger at Mephiles to transform him.

"SAPH! STOP!" Sonic tried to stop her, but was too late.

"Ladies and gentlemen, warm Agrabah welcome for Sorcerer Mephiles!" Jet grinned evilly.

A new outfit appeared on Mephiles and a new snake-staff with an open mouth. "Now where were we? Ah yes, abject humiliation!" he zaps Flame and Knuckles. A red aura appeared around them and forced them to bow. Stripes roared and tried to attack him.

"Down girl!" he zaps the tiger and turns her to a tiger cub.

"Meow?"

"Oh, princess." Mephiles held Flame's chin up. "There's someone I'm dying to introduce you to--"

"Mephiles! Get your hands off of her!" Sonic on the carpet dives down to stop him.

"Prince Sahib. Yes it is him princess, say hello to him." he zaps him with his staff.

"Aaahh!" Sonic falls down, unable to move.

"Yes, it is he but not as you know him." Mephiles said and brings Flame close to Sonic. He then makes the aura around Flame disappear.

"Say hello to true Prince Sahib!" he then zaps Sonic back to his normal outfit.

"Or should we say Sonic?" Jet smirked.

Sonic looks down at himself that he's back as his real self.

"Sahib?" Flame gasped.

"Flame, I tried to tell you, I'm just a-" he was cut off by Mephiles.

"Well it's time to say good bye Sonic, along with your dragon!" he said as he turns Inferno back to a dragon and sends them both into a tower. The Carpet goes after them as Mephiles sends it away like a golf-ball. Saphie looked down in despair.

"Good bye see ya!" Jet waved.

"Ex-Prince Sahib! Hehehehehehe...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHHAHAHAHAHA!" Mephiles cackled evilly as Flame and Knuckles looked at him with fear in their eyes.

The tower was thrown into the snowy mountains of the Himalayas. The top was broken apart while the half piece of the tower rolled down in the snow.

Sonic rolled out from the tower and shivered from the cold wind. "Inferno? INFERNO!" he called out for his dragon.

"Rwar....rwar....." his ears perk up when he heard the sound and digs up the snow to get the dragon out of there.

"Oh, this is all my fault...I should have freed Saphie when I had the chance." He said and found his dragon in the snow.

"Inferno! Are you okay?" he held her in his vest to warm her up.

"R-r-r-w-warr....." Inferno shivered and nodded.

"I'm sorry, Inferno. I made a mess of everything, somehow. I gotta go back and set things right." he said and walks through the snowy weather until he steps on the frozen carpet, "Carpet!"

He tries to pull the Carpet out of the snow but realized that it's stuck underneath the tower column.

"Inferno, start digging!" he tells Inferno. After a couple of digging, Sonic stopped and sees the tower moving. He runs and grabs Inferno to get out of the way but it leads him to the edge, he looked back that he was going to get killed.

"Rwar!" Inferno screeched in fear.

But Sonic sees a window on the tower and quickly measures the angle of where the window will roll. Wasting no time he gets at the spot that the window will roll onto and it rolled on Sonic and Inferno.

They were unharmed by the window as the tower fell down into the gorge.

"Yeah! Alright!" Sonic cheered.

"Rwar..." Inferno was gripping onto Sonic's quills. She looked petrified as stone and fell down. Sonic shook his head and carries Inferno in his arms.

The Carpet was okay and Sonic jumps on him, "Alright Carpet, back to Agrabah! Let's go!" he said and the Carpet flies back to Agrabah.
