Shadow sighs, thinking about Maria. Wishing he could save her, so he wouldn't feel so alone. Sonic interrupted his thinking saying "Hey how come we are taking the long way?" Shadow groans in annoyance, saying "Because of personal memories... now anything else before I decide to pound you into the ground?" Sonic sighs, responding with "Yea.. just one question. What memories do you have of this place?" Shadow stops walking, sonic stops walking as well saying "Hey Shads you ok?" He stutters "Y-yea... just.. the memories were bright then got dark.. please.. give me a moment." Sonic replied with "Oh sure! Just take your time!" Shadow took his breath, and explained the happy memories with Maria until the shooting, and how Maria sacrificed her own life, so he could live. Sonic shed a tear, and hug shadow. Shadow tells sonic "Please got off of me." Even tho both of them are blushing. Sonic grabs his hand and continues walking until they find the exit and jumping out. '"Hey...shadow can I stay with you?" "WHAT WHY FAKER?!" Sonic just looks down saying "I... i don't have a home...so can I?" Shadow, like usually sees Maria, but next to Sonic. He sighs and nods his head. Sonic almost cried, when he said yes. Sonic hugs Shadow, then follows shadow back to his house.
