Shadow and Sonic ran home and went inside their house. Sonic gave Shadow his tux and told him "Try it fully so you can get used to it!" And so, Sonic and Shadow tried on their new tuxedos, and Sonic looked at Shadow smiling. Shadow is fumbling with the tie that he has been trying to put on, since Shadow never wore a tie in a long time. Sonic smiles thinking to him self "Damn Shadow why do you have to be so cute?" and chuckles, Shadow looks at him, at first Sonic thought he was going to chuckle and ask but Shadow ended up growling saying "What's so funny, faker?!" Sonic tilts his head in shock asking Shadow "Why so hostile all of sudden?" Shadow shake his head quickly saying "Nothing...It's nothing." Sonic walks to him slowly and fixed his tie for him and grabs and holds his hand softly, telling him in the eye "Your lying to me and I know it. What's wrong Shadow? Please tell me I want to help you" Shadow groans and walks to the couch and flops himself onto the couch, motioning Sonic to come to him and started speaking saying"Freaking high school stuff all over again. I bet you heard the saying of 'History repeats itself' well it might happen." Sonic finally got next to him and sat down on his lap, asking "Shadow... what happened? When you were in high school if you don't mind me asking." Shadow looked down then back to Sonic responding "Just not to make a 4 year story long but, I have been picked on." Sonic tilts his head asking "Why?" Shadow looked Sonic straight in the eye saying "I don't want to continue so, just drop it already.." Sonic got off of Shadow and Shadow walks back up to his room and slams the door and locks it. Sonic sighs and thinks to him self "There has to be something wrong because he wouldn't have been acting like that..." and so Sonic started looking around to hope to find something that made him set off. He went looking through the book shelf and found a high school year book. Sonic tilted his head and pondered "What is this?" Sonic opened the book and went through the pictures in the book and saw all these cool looking classmates he had. Sonic thought to him self "Oh, one of these people must be him when he was younger!" And so Sonic continued to look through and finally found the class pictures. He went through each one and finally found his picture. Sonic giggled a little since, Shadow's picture seemed dorky. Not a classic braces and big glasses, looking like a mess type more looking like a professor with a tie. "I guess he had going something for him when he was younger." Sonic thought to him self. Sonic closed the book and ran up stairs and opened the door to Shadow's room. Shadow looked at him with his eyes all pink saying "Get out!" Sonic looked at him with soft eyes and walked up to him and hugged him. He whispered softly in his ear saying "Listen, I get why you are upset but don't worry.. besides you have that pistol for a reason and if things get worse you can use the people over there as target practice. Fair?" Shadow nodded his head and hugged Sonic. "I'm sorry that I flipped out on you, but you swear on your life that you will be there with me right?" Shadow looked at Sonic with worried eyes. Sonic chuckled a bit and hugged Shadow tightly and kisses Shadow on the cheek saying "Yes, I'll be there for ya."
