Here's a little snippet I came up with to get y'all exited!

One warm summer evening, June 29th, in fact, Shadow the Hedgehog took his boyfriend, Sonic the Hedgehog, on a date. But this wasn't any date, it was the their last date as boyfriends.

"So, Shadow, where are you taking me?" Sonic asked.

Shadow smiled, "Somewhere special~" he responded.

"What are we gonna do there?" The first asked again.

"You'll see~" Shadow resoonded again.

Sonic quieted the rest of the car ride, breathing in the warm air when the duo climbed out if the red sports car.

Shadow took a well hidden black box from his pocket and opened it, smiling at the silver band supporting tiny red and blue gems entwining to form a small, purple amathyse.

"Ya coming, Shads?" Sonic's voice broke him out if his thoughts and he immediately snapped the box shut and hid it again in his pocket.

"Yeah, just grabbing a few things!" Shadow called back, snatching a hand-held blue-tooth speaker. He closed the drivers side door and started on the gravel path through a park, grabbing Sonic's hand along the way. "I want to show you something."

Sonic nodded, too consumed by the beautiful flowers peeking up through the dirt in all kinds of places to speak.

Soon the two hedgehogs made it to their destination, a small, sucluded stone bridge suspended across smooth, glassy water. The surrounding area was filled with trees of all kinds towering above lush undergrowth emiting the summer chorus sung every night acompied by dancing fairies, flashing to the music with a random yet bueatiful choreography.

The bridge itself was a sight to behold, vines sprouting red, pink, blue, any number of colored flowers glided perpendicular with the water across the both sides of the slightly damp, grey stones of the mossy bridge.

A huge full moon hung over the whole scene, bathing everything in sight with a soft, silver glow.

"Oh Shadow, it's beautiful!" Sonic whispered, hugging the dark one's arm.

"Not as beautiful as you," Shadow softly replied, leading his love to the center of the bridge.

"Aww~"

"I'm not done yet." Shadow warned, pressing a button on his phone, letting the harmonic chords of a guitar and a man's soft voice flood the night. He took Sonic on his arms and twirled him around, dancing to the music.

The song ended and Sonic pulled Shadow into a hug, whispering, "Thank you..."

Shadow smiled and returned the hug. They pulled apart, Shadow looked into Sonic's eyes and started talking.

"Sonic, from the moment I first saw you, I've loved you. You're my everything, I couldn't live without you. You're perfect in everyway, and don't let anyone tell you different.

"I love you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't bear to lose you. That's why I want you in my life forever and always by my side." Shadow said.

Sonic gasped when Shadow got down on one knee and pulled out a small, black box. He opened it to reveal a ring and finished what he had started.

"Sonic the Hedgehog, will you marry me?"

"OH MY GOSH! YES, SHADOW, YES!!!!!!" Sonic screamed, tears streaming down his face. He watched as his fiancé slid the rind in his fourth finger. As soon as it was sucure, Sonic pulled Shadow into a bear hug, full on french kissing him.

They pulled apart from air and started kissing again. A few smooch filled miniuts later, Sonic pulled apart from their kiss saying, "I love you, Shadow..."

"I love you too, Sonic~" Shadow responded, allowing said hedgehog to lay his head on his shoulder.

Shadow laid his cheek on the others head and wrapped his arms around the smaller one. They stayed like that for hours until the moon was at it's prime and their phones read 12am.

Shadow lifted his head and, noticing his love had fallen asleep, picked him up bridal style and carried him to their car.

This was the happiest moment of his and Sonic's life.
