Blossom looked freak out, most likely from the ogre. Even if she took down the monster with skill, she must've been scared. Ace is no help, he just eats and sleeps, offers no advice or even praying that Ares would help us in battle. I mean Blossom is, why not him?

I blink and saw the chair in front of me smoking and people backing away. I looked over at Blossom, which she is reading, and Ace ate some noodles. I glared at him and shook my head, I sighed and pinched my nose.

We are waiting ducks sitting in the park, but they insisted we take a break. I personally think we should be fighting monsters or my dad. That slimy man shouldn't even have the right to be called my father!

If anything Hades acted like a father to us, he gave us gifts for Christmas and made sure our Halloween made us win every competition. Which we all knew he was the judge.

I finally slammed my fist in the table, making them look at me. Blossom glared and Ace looked up, still eating. I rolled my eyes, he made me think of Butch a lot.

"Look, I don't think we have the time lounging around. We should be finding that stupid creature." I said.

"Brick, we just fought another ogre. I don't think we should be running around." Blossom said.

"Besides, I'm like super hungry!" Ace exclaimed.

"So! We should be finding this creature that Zeus made!" I yelled.

"You mean your dad." Blossom said.

I growled, "He's not my dad."

Ace put both hands up. Blossom just rolled her eyes and closed her book, muttering the page number. I tapped my fingers on the table and waited her to say something stupid. Something she always do. It's like she has a secret power for being annoying, most likely from her mortal parent.

I'm not that stupid to talk bad about Athena.

"Has Zeus ever created a monster?" Ace asked.

I just shrugged.

"Well, Zeus never really created any monsters, unless you counted Pandora. Although that wasn't really his plan. But it was usually Hera who created monsters." Blossom said.

"Because Zeus couldn't keep his dick in his pants?" I asked.

"I don't know if you should talk bad about him out loud." Ace said.

"I can do what I please." I snapped.

Blossom slapped my arm, "Say what you want in your head but not out loud. The last time someone spoke bad about Zeus, well they usually die."

"I don't care." I said.

She sighed and shook her head. Blossom stood up and grabbed her book, she made her way to the bus stop. I grumbled and followed her with Ace yelling our names. I sat next to Blossom and Ace sat in front of us, which made me confused. I mean there is an extra seat next to Blossom.

I tried to peak over but Blossom grabbed my arm. I looked at her, her eyes pleaded me not to look. I frowned and sat back, crossing my arms. We heard loud rock music playing from his earphones, then I turned to look at Blossom.

"You don't trust him, do you?" I asked.

"He's the son of Ares, what do you think?" Blossom snapped.

"Woah! I was just saying, don't need to get snappy with me." I said.

"Look, Ares doesn't like Athena because she took his war duties. That's what they always say." She said while looking at Ace.

I chewed on my bottom lip, I heard that before. Ares children swears that's true, Athena's children always said it wasn't. I was uncomfortable when the topic was raised, because they would look at me to settle it. Why do you? Because that asshole who I have to call my father or sperm donor.

Blossom shifted in her seat, I gave her a weak smile. She just waved her hand and opened her bag. Blossom pulled out two sodas and passed one to me, I muttered a quick thank you. As I let the sugary drink down my throat, I saw Ace staring me through his phone camera. I lookee towards Blossom, praying that Ace didn't caught me.

"Look about Zeus' creature, how are we not sure that's it not Hera's?" Blossom asked.

"What?" I replied.

"Well, Hera never liked children of Zeus. Maybe that's what the verse means."

"But Hera isn't Zeus."

"She's his wife."

I thought about it for a moment, but something told that is wasn't right. But you never tell children of Athena their wrong, they'll beat you to a bloody pulp. I sighed and laid back, closing my eyes.

When demigods has dreams, they are usually scary but are once in a blue moon. I only had one dream and I met Hades for yhe first time. I still remembered what his request was, 'Protect them'. He meant Boomer and Butch.

I saw Hades, playing chest with Persephone. Muttering of moves he should do, but he stopped. He looked my way and smiled, he clapped his hands.

His dark brown eyes light up, his long black hair was braided with flowers, most likely from Persephone. He stepped off the throne and ran towards me, hugging me. I gasped but hugged him, he smelled like fresh dirt and flowers, reminding me of Butch. Hades patted my back.

"It's been so long." He said as he pulled away.

"You haven't called for us." I said.

Hades frowned, making me think of the paintings. Persephone created a flower and passed it to me, Hades flinched. I remember that flinch, Boomer broke his arm in this throne room when we were five. Persephone turned into a mother so fast and Hades hugged us because we couldn't stop crying.

"I know that you think Hera created the monster, but she didn't." Persephone said.

I looked at the flower, "And this help me, how?"

"The petals will tell you how long you have til you get to North Carolina." Hades said.

I studied the flower and saw ten days. I looked up at Hades who gave me a small smile. He grabbed my shoulders and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"I know that my place is Underworld but you should find Hecate." Hades said.

I wanted to say something but I found myself leaving his place. I reached out to grab one of them but Hades slipped something in my hands.

I gasped as I woke up and looked at my hands. There the flower and a necklace. I stared at it but shook my head.

"Dude, you look terrible." Ace said.

"We have to find Hecate and go to North Carolina. " I said.

Blossom just nodded but Ace had an evil glint in his eyes.
