The sun was shining brightly on the city of Musutafu as a certain H/C haired teen was walking around the streets of the city, enjoying his day.

Y/N's POV:

I was strolling around the city, looking around to pique my interest as I grab hold of my scarf and adjusting it, knowing that today is Valentine's Day, it will get a little busier than usual.

Growing up, I was fond of celebrating Valentine's Day with myself, and of course my ex-girlfriend. After she broke up with me, I started to hate it and if organs can do constructions, I would literally build a wall on my heart, you know, just to block out all my feelings and love from ever be crushing again.

"Everyone look! There's Strange!" a girl shouted as I took a deep sigh and adjusted my scarf. "And there goes my one peaceful loveless day, thrown out of the window." I said to myself as the mob of teenage girls started to run towards me. "Better run now." I said as I quickly sprinted away from the mob as they follow me.

As I run around the city, the mob started to grow more and more in size, of course, this isn't the first time that I've experience this kind of thing.

~Flashback~

"Well, guess I got dumped huh...and in Valentine's day nonetheless..." I said as I hold the bouquet of flowers on my hand as I feel the cold liquid pouring down on me, hearing the two dreaded words out of her mouth. "We're done." and with that, out of pure anger, I throw the bouquet out of my hands and walked away, wanting to forget this day even happen.

~A year later~

"P-Please, take this!" I heard a girl said as she offered me a box of chocolates, I was surprised by this as I reluctantly accepted it. "Thanks." I said as she squealed and ran off. "That's unusual..." I said as I hold on to the box of chocolate on my hand as I kept walking.

One after another girls suddenly pop out, giving me gifts and chocolates as I went back to the Sanctum. I won't lie, I kinda like this, getting free stuff and all but it's kinda quite annoying, hopefully this won't happen next year.

~Next year~

"Or not..." I sighed as a huge crowd of girls were gathered around me in a coffee shop as they pushed around and holding their gifts. "Please take this!" "I love you Y/N, please take my gift!" "No! Y/N's mine!" these were the things that I heard as I quickly turned myself invisible.

"Where did he go?" one of the girls said as they look around in search for me as one by one they spread out to look for me, some sort of a prize to be won over. As they ran around, I quickly made my escape to the Sanctum, wanting for this nightmare to be over with.

~Flashback Ends~

"I can't have my Valentine's Day be ruined by those crowd." I said as I kept running until I bumped into someone. "Ow! Hey watch where yo- Y/N!?" I heard Jiro said as we both fell over from the impact that we had just now.

"Sorry, but I need your help." I said as she looked at me confusingly as I stood up. "Sure but what is it that you need help?" she asked as I look behind me. "No time to explain, just play along!" I said as I carry her up bridal style as this caught her surprisingly.

"Y/N what are you doing!" she flailed as the crowd reached towards me, turning around to see their surprised faces. "Who is she Y/N?" one of the girls asked as I smiled a little bit. "Oh, she's my girlfriend." I said with a smile as the girls, including Jiro were very surprised. "Girlfriend!" they yelled as I nodded.

"Well, if you'll excuse us, we have a very special day to celebrate. Sorry about it ladies." I said as I smiled and went over to walk away from the gloomy bunch of girls and heading to the corner. Once I reached the corner, I put Jiro down as I look at her.

"Thank you and sorry for dragging you to this." I said as Jiro just looked away. "I-Its f-fine." she said as I dusted myself for a bit. 'He called me his girlfriend!' she thought as a visible blush was printed on her face. "Well, I'll treat you some food, as a thanks for helping me out." I said as she nodded a little and let out a small smile, holding her hand as I lead the way.

We were at a fast food place, we were sitting down and having some conversation with our food, we would laugh a little bit as we talk and eat, until Jiro brought something up.

"So, tell me Mr.Strange." she said as I whistled a little bit. "Formality on my name means you're gonna ask something serious. Well, I can't guarantee you that I will answer it truthfully." I said as I chuckled and looked at her.

"Well, I just wanted to know, why are those girls chasing you across the city with gifts and such?" she asked as I look at her. "Well, I guess the popularity? Affection? The adoration? Basically, the whole Valentine's Day thing." I said as I took a sip of my soda.

"What about it?" she asked as she was very curious at my answer. "Alright, but promise me that you won't tell anyone about this." I said as she nodded, fully focusing on what I was going to say and told her the whole ex-girlfriend drama.

"Woah, that's really deep, no wonder you hate this day so much." she said as I shrugged a little bit. "Eh, I got used to it, but it is nice that the whole crowd wasn't chasing me around lately." I said as I hold her hand and smiled at her. "Thank you for listening." I said as she smiled a little bit and a pink blush spread across her cheeks. "Y-You're welcome." she said as I smile and let go of her hand.

"By the way, some friends of mine just got invited in Japan to perform for this Valentine's Day event downtown, and since they're short on one member they asked me to be a stand-in. So, you wanna come by to watch? Don't worry, if you don't wanna come alone, you can ask one of our classmates to accompany you later." I said as I look at her for a bit.

"I would love to, but I have something going on later." she said as I nodded and stood up. "Alright then, I guess I'll see you later then." I smiled and walked out of the restaurant, as I sighed a bit.

~Timeskip~

I was already dressed up for the performance that my friends prepared, I looked out of the curtains and saw some of the class sitting in front wondering why they were here all of a sudden. "Wow, how did they know?" I asked to myself as I looked around, noticing Jiro wasn't there. I heard my phone vibrated and saw it was from Jiro.

From: Jiro
To: Y/N
Hey, good luck on your performance. Sorry if I didn't come by.

I sighed a little bit as I texted her back, making a quick reply.

From: Y/N
To: Jiro
It's cool, hope we can hangout more. By the way, the whole class is here, what gives?

As I hit send, I heard that we're next, I put away my phone and went over to my friends. "You ready Y/N? Hope you're not rusty, plus, I think I saw a girl that will be joining us, so, just a heads up." my friend said as I nodded.

"Huh, weird, but alright." I said as me and my friends started to walk up the stage, the curtains were down as I went to my position.  I sat down in front of the keyboard, taking some small breaths as the curtains open up, beginning our performance. But little did I know, the girl that would be joining us was none other than Jiro.

As the performance was over, I looked over at Jiro, she was smiling as she had fun while having a small blush. This was surprising indeed that I didn't even noticed earlier, the crowd loved us as for our classmates, they were cheering for us.

"Never thought that this was the thing that you got caught up with." I said as Jiro walked out off the dressing room with her stuff, she scratched the back of her neck as I chuckled. "So, you do sing." I said as she nodded.

"Yeah, it's my passion when I was little, still do actually." she said as I chuckled and smiled. "You sang pretty well yourself, I didn't know you can sing and play an instrument." She said as I let out a small chuckle.

"Well, there are a lot of things that you don't know about me." I said as I chuckle and found my hand intertwine on her hand, making the both of us blush like crazy. "S-Shall we go?" I asked as she nodded a little bit as we both walk towards our own homes. "Wait, so does that mean that..." she said as she looks at me. "We're a thing? I guess so..." I said as her grip on my hand tightened as I smile and kept walking.

"Guess this year's Valentine's Day wasn't that bad after all."
