As the race was over, the H/C haired teen was walking towards the green haired teen who won first place on the race.

Y/N's POV:

I was walking over to Midoriya as he was still surprised that he had won the race. "Hey Midoriya, great job out there." I said as he looked at me. "Th-Thanks!" he said as he tensed up for a bit as Midnight announces all 42 participants had arrived and was going to explain the second event of the festival. We got over to the podium as the other participants went over to it.

"Congratulations to all 42 participants that made to the 2nd part of the festival." Midnight said as the participants cheered but only to be silenced by her. "It is early to be celebrating your victory, now, we will be starting the 2nd event." she said as she started to spin the roulette again.

'What could it be this time?' I thought as I look at the roulette slowly stopping to the words "Cavalry Battle" as Midnight proceeded in explaining what we will be doing. As she explains it, my eyes starts to wander around the arena, looking at the participants who had made it to the second part.

'They are full of potential I can tell that much.' I thought as Midnight was done explaining the rules. "You have 15 minutes to form a group of 4 for this event and to make it interesting, the 1st place from the Obstacle Race starts with 10,000,000 points!" she said as I look towards Midoriya and everyone else burned a hole through their intense glare at Midoriya. 'Sorry, but I can't help you out on this one.' I thought as I started to look for a group.

I looked around the arena as a bunch of students surrounds Bakugo of all people of course to be in their team, others went for Todoroki to be pair up with them, who could blame them, they wanted to win with everything they got, what ever it takes.  I on the other hand, was still finding some people who wanted to pair up, of course I would make duplicates of myself but it would be against the rules of the event. As I was walking, I bumped into someone and looked at them, seeing Shinso that I bumped into made me apologize.

"Sorry about that." I said as he just dismissed it, seeing Ojiro and another student, who I assume to be in 1-B with him. "Looks like you have quite a group there Shinso." I said as he nodded. "Do you want to pair up with me?" he asked as I look at him. "Yeah sure why not." I said as this grow a smirk on his face. "What's with the smile?" I asked as he was surprised that his quirk was not in effect towards me. "But, you answered my question. How come you're not affected by my quirk?" he said as I sighed at him. "Even your quirk is in effect, I would actually team up with you. Why would you do it in the first place?" I asked as he looked at me. "I have to do everything to win for my class and for myself, what ever it takes." he said as I nodded towards him, understanding where it is coming from. I look at Todoroki, seeing that his team was composed of Iida, Yaoyorozu, and Denki which it is rather interesting to say the least.

"Personal grudge I suppose?" Shinso said as he looks at me and shake my head. "More like a rivalry to be exact." I said as he nodded and went over to our position once the timer had stopped. I looked at Midoriya and saw that he actually had a team for himself despite the points he has, I smiled a little bit as I was positioned on the right side of the rider which it was Shinso, while me, Ojiro, and the kid from 1-B who was known as Shoda was the horse, giving us a bandana with a number printed on it. On the monitor, the names of the team and equivalent points were flashed as I take a look at it.

"We need to get lower points if we want to win." I said as Shinso looked at me. "We should get the highest point as possible." he said as I rebutted. "True, but that makes us an even bigger target, if we want to win, we need the least scores possible." I said as he let out a sigh as he looks at the opponent teams. "I hope you know what you are doing Strange." he said as I smirked and the event started.

In an instant, the teams went after Midoriya first as our team stood still, a blur of blue started to speed up towards the team of Midoriya, leaving a trail of ice in its wake, noticing that Shoto was using a stick that is covered in ice to spread the ice with it. "Cleaver aren't you?" I said as he looked at me. "I will win, what ever it takes." Todoroki said as I scoffed and looked over to Shinso, giving him a nod as we started to move. "LOOKS LIKE TEAM SHINSO FINALLY MAKES THEIR MOVE!" Present Mic announced as the teams look over to us, forgetting for a moment that I was even in the second event as they were focus on Midoriya.

I yanked one of the headbands from Team Tsunotori as I made my way to Team Kodai and snatched their headbands. "Thanks to Todoroki, we yanked two of the headbands. All we need to do is get more and avoid other teams." I said as Shinso looked at me and holds onto the headbands. "And how exactly are we going to do it?" he asked as I look at him, hearing an explosion towards us, I quickly looked behind me. "I'M COMING FOR YOU STRANGE!" Bakugo yelled as I sighed. "Incoming!" Shinso said as a portal opened up. "Hang on!" I said as we went through the portal, hearing Bakugo cursed as we emerged from behind them, getting one of their headbands as he noticed it.

"You're too slow to keep up!" I said as we trail off, hearing him curse as he was about to chase us, but got their headband snatched by Team Monoma as they pursued them instead. Our team was avoiding any other teams that came into our way, we either ran or made a portals after portals as we did. As the clock starts to wind down in the last minutes of the event, I saw Iida boosted himself towards Midoriya with Todoroki making some sort of dome so he could have the points to himself which he successfully took it from Midoriya, grabbing the 10 million point from Midoriya as they were shocked in doing it not with out any further exchange from them as Tokoyami secured their team some points.

"AND TIME'S UP!" Present Mic yelled as the event was over, looking over at the monitor we saw the qualifying teams listed down. "After all of those efforts, four teams qualified for the next event, and those teams are: Team Todoroki, Team Bakugo, Team Shinso, and Team Midoriya!" Midnight said as I looked at Shinso jumping down as he walked towards the waiting room, given that there was a break after the two events, I let out a sigh as I went to the gates, only to see Midoriya and Todoroki looking at each other.

Todoroki was leaning on the wall as Midoriya looked at him, I was curious on why they were here as Todoroki looked at me. "Looks like your timing is perfect, saves me the time of looking for you." he said as I looked at him for a bit. "What do you want to talk about?" Midoriya asked. "The feeling that I got when you grabbed 1 of my headbands...it was similar with All Might when he was fighting against that monster back at USJ. I need to know..." he said as I saw Midoriya flinched and shake at his words.

"Are you...All Might's secret love child or something?" he asked as I mentally facepalmed on my end as Midoriya panicked. "Y-You've got it all wrong!!!" he stammered as Todoroki looked at me at this point. "Y/N, for a guy like you that gave up on being one member of the famous agency in America, are you even sure that you're being serious at this point?" he said as he was getting on my nerves. "I have nothing to say to you, but if you want answers, I wanted to be here, I wanted to be a better hero for the people I care about. I can be serious as long as I can, but I will guarantee that I won't be responsible for whatever happens to you or anyone who gets in my way!" I said as he looks away surprised at my very action towards them.

"I assume that both of you know about my father "Endeavor" who is currently the number 2 hero. Midoriya, if you're connected to the number 1 hero, then that is all the reason to beat you, as for you Strange, I don't care if you're from the other side of the country or in the home of the heroes, I will show you that I am superior than you in terms of combat. My old man will do everything to make a name for himself." he said as Midoriya was confused at this point.

"What is it you're trying to tell me Todoroki?" he asked as Todoroki looked at him. "I assume you both have heard the concept of "Quirk Marriage" correct?" he asked as Midoriya shook his head while I was in a complete surprised at the event. "Ever since the phenomenon of "Quirks" appeared, they are already a thing. Using 2 people's Quirks to create 1 even stronger down in generation. Therefore, my father make his way into my mother's life and obtained her quirk." he said as Midoriya hitched a breath while I kept listening to him. 'The nerve of that guy, and that's why dad told me to never interact with him.' I thought as I look at them.

"In all of my memories of my mother, she was crying. She told me that my left side was ugly, and dumped some boiling water at it. The reason I'm aiming to beat the two of you, is a personal triumph. I won't use my old man's quirk. More importantly, I'm going to be the number 1 hero without needing to. This is my own disavowal of him." he said as I let out a small chuckle as he looked at me.

"Do you think this is funny?" Todoroki asked as I look at him as I regained my composure. "Just like my dad always says about Endeavor, he will do anything to get best results to be the number 1 hero, what ever it takes." I said as he grabbed me on the collar as Midoriya tried to stop him but I quickly intervene. "It's fine Midoriya, after all, I was an orphaned and endured a lot of hell to get where I am today, as for you, Shoto Todoroki." I said as the tension grew thick as Todoroki lets go of me. "If you are so insisted on making me take the whole festival seriously, then I will gladly obliged. Just remember that I am not responsible for anything that will happened later on." I said as I walked away from them, feeling the weight of my emotions taken off of me.

'Todoroki has a goal that he wanted to achieve using only one-half of his quirk, but to think that Endeavor would do such a thing is very despicable.' I thought as I was deep in thought, knowing what I have to do in the next event. 'If he is persistent on making me show what I have, then I will gladly wait for him and I will do anything to prove that I am here to be a hero.' I said as I kept on walking, a glass was shattering as I went to the Mirror Dimension to prepare for the next event.
