Chapter 2

We get prepaired to leave as I look off to the horizon. As I start to summon a portal to take us to the outskerts of my peoples home land I turn to see Hisoka look back to the house.

"So you're staying here are you?" I ask in annoyance.

Last night she was saying that she couldn't continue on, because she had completed her objective and now had nothing left to do... so she thought she'd go back to her people to try to live amongst them... but what she doesn't know is that I talked to their queen after she fell asleep, telepathically, and no matter how much I tried to use my career to make sure she was accepted her only fate was death as soon as she passed their boarders. I kept that to myself... I thought that I could at least repay her for saving me that night.

"I've told you that I was until I found it fit to leave for my home." She sighs in reply.

I nod as the rest of us get ready to leave... I turn to her thinking now's as good a time as ever to tell her about last night. So I summon her behind the cabin and turn to her. Sighing as I think about how to say it.

"What did you call me back here for..." She asks.

"You can't go home..." I say, just opening it out. As I tell her I brace for what ever rage she has... but to my surprise she doesn't have any... she stands there with a slight smile.

"How sweet," she slightly chuckles, "the Shinigami doesn't want me to leave..."

"I don't want a good alie to die." I say quickly to stop the teasing. "I spoke with the queen on the majos..."

She stops chuckling and gives a slight shocked expression and stares at me waiting to go on.

"... no matter what I said, no matter what I did, no matter what I threatened... she only will kill you if you walk past the boarders to the majo's homeland." I sigh a resigned breath. "I'm sorry Hisoka but I can't let you die... not after you saved me."

She stares at me with a look of sorrow then turns her head to the ground... "Then I guess I'll stay here..."

"You can come with us if you want."

"No I can no longer go with you..." she says raising a hand. "It's not my place... I do not feel welcomed..."

"Isao doesn't have a say whether you can or can't come." I smirk.

She slightly chuckles and then starts to shake her head, "that's true... but not what I meant Akio."

I slightly nod and here Minako start to call... "You better go," Hisoka says.

I turn and we start to leave... she steps onto the front porch and I next to Minako and Isao. As we turn to leave I turn suddenly and glare at her.

"Hisoka," I yell at her. She looks up and I can tell there's a small hint of hope. "Come on... the trip wouldn't be as much fun without you."

She smiles and summons her things with her majutsu. She runs to us and stops next to me. "Not as much fun?"

"Well I can't be the only one making fun of Isao, now can I?"

She laughs as Minako and I chuckle, the only one who doesn't enjoy it is Isao, who, as always, grumbles. We step throught the portal into the other side, and find ourselves sucked into it.

We appear on the ground of the lands of my people. I stare at the dark woods, and sunless skies, sniffing the familiar smell of the fires, and sulfure. My smile turns sinister as I feel the air blowing the souls of the damned through my hair. Minako looks at me with a slight smile of familiarity, and Hisoka just enjoys my sinister grin.

"Ah," I call out with a dark, satanic tone. "No place like hell."

"I've always wanted to see this place." Hisoka breathes in. "It's like a demon's paradise!"

"Much worse," I smirk. "It's a demon's nightmare."

As we move through the land of the forsaken damned. And slightly chuckle when I see several men gang up on a bigger being, a trader no less, tackle him to the ground and then start to rip his soul out of his own skin leaving his body for the land.

As we move closer they spot me and bow, "welcome back you're evilness."

"It is good to be back." I reply. "Where are the rest of the people?"

"Expecting your return at the town's square," he replies in a dark hiss, "as you have desired them too."

"And the flesh bag on the ground?" I ask motioning to the man they just downed.

He smiles and looks over to the same area. "He was a new toy who wandered into our midst."

I chuckle and wave my hand over that direction and skeletal hounds crawl from the dirt and start to feast on the body.

"You necromancy skills are most impressive oh Shinigami."

"One day I might pass on what I know, but not now."

"What brings you back?" He asks standing up and walking closer to me. "I thought you're travels would have kept you longer."

"I'm on a slight errand, and I need to see if my imouto has been allowed to rule in my absence." I then glare at him. "She has, hasn't she?"

"I know of nothing in that subject Shinigami, and I apologies sincerely and humbly. I have been instructed by superiors to watch the borders."

"And a good job you seem to have done, and you are forgiven of the crime you did not commit."

I turn my head over the land and see the hounds surround my pressence and lie on the ground next to me and Minako, she lowers down and slightly pets the beasts.

"I thank you for your forgiveness... I must now go and alert the others of your arrival." He says.

"Go, and do you mind making a portal to bring us closer to the capital?"

"Not at all," He smiles.

He raises his hand to a patch of land and a portal is made from the dark orbs that roam freely in the lands. He then turns back to me. "There you are Shinigami. I am afraid I must bid a farewell."

"Good, and stay in the town, as an order of the Shinigami himself."

"Thank you."

He disappears in front of me and we turn to the portal. I summon my horse and skeletal horses for Hisoka and Isao. They crawl from the ground and then stand at the ready. I change into my cloak and scythe. My official dress for my arrival.

"Since when did you become such a high power in your land?" Hisoka smirks with a slight chuckle.

"Since I acquired this career..." I reply mounting Uma.

Minako does too and then Isao on hers. She's been quiet lately and I don't like it... It's deeply concerning.

I then raise my hand moving the portal in front of us and making it grow. After I do I then lower my hand to face the ground and send a black ray of darkness into the dirt. Behind us I hear moaning, screeching, and things crawling out of the dirt and marching behind us. I turn to look around to see a force of three hundred skeletal beings with small pieces of flesh still attached to the bones, carrying spears and shields, wearing broken armor, helms, and swords in sheaths. I use my magic to give three in front the black tattered flag with the Shinigami symbol on it in red with two scythes behind it. I smile wickedly as I look to an old force I had used years ago.

"Forsaken damned," I scream at them. "You must follow your master once more to make the entrance of his powers grand and mighty! I have chosen you because you're loyalty shows no bounds. Come and serve once more!"

I see them raise they're spears, shaking them vigorously in the air, as they growl and screech with cheers.

"This is awe inspiring!" I hear Hisoka gasp.

I turn to her and see that she has lost the wits for words. "The magnificence in this force, the power to create them, it's just so... beautiful."

"You have a strange taste for what's beautiful and what's not." I scoff. As I whisper to Uma the okay to move forward the dogs that had rested before start to walk ahead.

We all move through the black portal with the sounds of a thunderous march behind us. And we arrive at the several feet from the gates of the capital. As I look around at the grey walls hiding a town of brick homes and a castle made for the leaders of the corrupted, and sinister, the huge black obsidian gates slowly move, opening a gap for us.

As the gates move back the sound from the city grows into one enormous cheer. My forces walk in, except for the hounds they charge ahead announcing my arrival with screams in their told tongue, and the crowd slowly bows down. I see soldiers in the city stand aside, wearing black helms, and armor with town crest on it. As we move through the streets, turn a corner to see the grand castle of my former leaders before I was the Shinigami.

We move to the front gardens, which is dead except for the blood rose flowers that are extremely hard to find out side our lands. A fountain at the front shows a cloaked figure on a horse with a scythe in hand holding a soul in his other. Blood flows from the spouts of the fountain. Behind it a gathering of the elders has formed in front of the doors. In front of them was Amaya. She smiles widely as she watches me enter the yard and my troops flood in. My horse stops in front of her and I dismount and turn to her after helping Minako down. Isao and Hisoka come up behind me and wait. I glare at her with a dark smile as she stares into my eyes seeing just as much. Her garb has changed into a black dress with red trims in her sleeve cuffs, and the bottom of the garb. I then notice that's exactly what our mother used to wear.

"Welcome Shinigami to your home, once more." She says bowing. The other elders do as well.

"It's good to be back, Amaya." I reply with a nod of my head.

"How are you Minako?" She then smiles to my significant other.

"Never better," she smiles. She turns to me. "It's good to have my old Akio back."

I lean down and kiss her cheek. And then turn to the elders.

"I presume you got the job, Amaya?" I smile.

"Yes," she chuckles. "Thank you, onii."

She then smiles. "Shall I walk you through the castle now?"

"Only if you wish too," I reply. I then turn to my army. "You will stay here until told to. I want men posted where needed, listen to the masters of the guard until I say otherwise."

Then turn and march over to one of the masters and he starts to giving orders for them to comply with. I turn to my hounds. "You are staying with me."

They follow closely as we are being lead up a grand stair case, to a dining hall, then to a meeting chamber, and then to a courtyard. As we are given a tour Amaya has told us of a meeting needing to be held with me and the leaders of the lands. Apparently some forces are gathering from the southern borders and according to scouts and spies. They plan to attack sometime soon.

"Any idea on what the forces are?" I ask, "Certainly not the Kyuuketsuki?"

She slightly nods as we are being lead up more stairwells. "And the Ryuujins... they have joined forces with each other... or at least a small battalion of rogues. But still..."

I nod and she leads me and Minako to our bedroom. "And this is where you will sleep for the time being."

We walk inside and see the black bed with a nice black velvet canopy. The wood is ebony, and that is for all wooden items. As we start to get settled I start to pull at my cloak itching to get it off. Amaya spots the movement and chuckles.

"You don't have to wear that I hope you know." She smiles.

"Thank you!" I reply. And pulling it off of my other clothing, "And my scythe?"

"Doesn't have to be seen either." She nods.

I make it disappear again and then summon my blade. As I do she leaves and shuts the door leaving only me and Minako.

Minako looks over at me. "Not bad for the Shinigami."

"This has only happened because Amaya is in charge." I reply. "If she wasn't it'd be a stable instead of a castle. The only things in this town that have my allegiance is my forces of the undead."

The dogs curl next to a cobble stone fire black with the kuroi hi in it burning in midair. She steps closer to me and kisses my lips deeply and passionately.

"I don't care where we're at, I'm just glad to have my Akio back." She wraps her arms around me and nuzzles her head against my chest. I wrap my arms around hers holding her close as we close our eyes.

I wake in the dead of night and move to a balcony that overlooks the gardersn... I stare into the white orb over the statues hand... As I do I hear a feint sigh and look back to see Minako chaning sleeping positions on the bed, then return to the statue... longing to try and take it from the twisted reach of the display object, but I know I can't... the statue is set with a stronger magic than what I am allotted and know for a fact that I would die if I tried... I look down to see a hooded figure stare into it... I watch as i try to find out what or who it is... it walks forth and then kneels before it saying a silent prayer that I strain to listen... the figure seems familiar... it then gets up and spots me... I stare at it as the face looks extremely recognizable... it's Isao... she sees I've spotted her and then takes off back into the castle. As I get ready to put in a chase, I feel a hand slip over my shoulder and a chin rest on the other. I look to see Minako there. I smile sweetly as she does me.

"Why do I always catch you up at such an early hour?" She chuckles.

"Because, I was never one to sleep?" I reply with a guilty smile.

She smiles a little wider, and we stare into the orb floating in the palm of the wretched statue.

"Is that it?" She asks.

"Yes," I reply with a depressed sigh, "that is my soul..."

"Why is it there?"

"It's the statue of the spirit who appoints the new shinigami... if the others should die, or if they try to take back what they lost... as soon as a slight touch on the statue is made... the soul sill shatter and they will die..."

"Oh," she says, "it's very pretty."

I nod gently... "I thought I told you that..."

She doesn't respond but instead gives me a warm hug and says, "Come, it's very late and you must get sleep."

I nod an extremely exhausted slight movement of the head, and sigh in the same manner.

But as I start to leave I notice Isao staring at the balcony. She stares at me as if I was something she once knew. I have absolutely no idea on why though, it's not like I knew her from some long past. I can't understand why she stares at me, I've noticed that for some time now... like back at the camp...

"I need to talk to you, Akio." She says in my head.

'How did you get into my thoughts?' I ask shocked.

"You're not the only one who's been clawed by Hisoka... now quickly while she's in bed and asleep."

The urgency in her voice made me appear down in front of her, and she stares down at me with a slight hint of sorrow and remorse.

"Why does that expression haunt your face like that?"

"You really forgot didn't you?"

"What do you mean?"

"The names I possess are not mine..." She says staring into my eyes with hidden anger and deep depression, it concerns me immensely. I try to keep composed as best I can.

"What do you mean?"

"My name is not Isao, and it is not Katsumi either. Those are names thrust apon me from the same person who took mine."

I slowly start to understand what she means. And I'm terrified for the actions I have committed in front of her even if I never even realized that the person who I called Minako was never her at all.

She stares at me as I slowly step forward. "You mean when I saved you... that was?"

"Her... I was taken shortly after the attack on the village. She took my name and gave me hers... she's a deadly assassin who was told to try and kill you... sent by a member of your race... she tried to kill her old body... but unfortunately I managed to heal myself in time to join in with the sensei that was teaching those students you have to evaluate.. I passed with flying colors because I already had fought you before... when you first held my hand as you picked me up off the ground bringing me into your arms, like-"

"-you were the most important thing in the world to me." I finish for her as I stare off in awe...

"Yes," she nods to me, "I was your trophy that you had to fight to earn... do you remember?"

I nod in silence as I recall that day from so long ago,

Autumn, the leaves had just started transforming colors... a young girl of the age of eighteen had stepped up to a young man of the age of twenty, with a rival's grin and a daring tone. A challenge had been made after she had heard rumors about him. Though they were true it only sparked her desire to challenge him even more.

"You wish to battle me?" He said with his back toward her, "I must ask why?"

"Let's just call it a chance of experience." She had replied.

"I have no intention on harming you Minako." He called back turning to her with a blank stare, as he was trying to hide his expression of caring, and love.

She stared back into his eyes shooting through his shield and figuring out his desire for her hand. And she had felt the same... this challenge would prove if he was worthy of it or not.

After the fight had begun she had found that even though she had made several cuts and gashes, he had never laid a single mark on her. It concerned her yet convinced her even more... after the battle her blade was stained with the blood of her lover in her eyes. And he had never even drawn his sword. It was as if she meant so much to him that he didn't even take out his blade to fight her armed. It piques curiosity and she asked him directly.

"Why do you not draw your blade?" She asked him.

"I would never draw my blade against someone who I would want to be with for the rest of my time, why damage something so treasured and so loved?" He replied.

Those words impact her in such a manner that she fell to her knees not being able to understand why, the feelings of guilt from what she had done to him physically, it never seemed to faze him. He still smiles even though she has inflicted so many wounds on his body. He still loves her even though she has made him bleed. As her eyes started to tear up she closed them trying not to show it to him.

He stepped closer to her and she opened her eyes and stared up at his. As a hand lowered down to offer her help, she saw the caring in his eyes, he wasn't trying to hide it anymore. And as he pulled her off the ground, and into his arms for a gently caring embrace, she felt his gestures meaning. Firm enough to show that his love would never die out and his arms would never let her go, but gentle enough to let her know that she was the most important person he could ever treasure. And she returned with the same embrace.

I stare into Isao's eyes looking into Minako's spirit and I step closer to her, and I lean down for a kiss. After a moment or two she returns it.

"Is that why you told me what you did at the beginning of our journey, it was about asking why you wanted to travel with me?"

"You mean the 'for my own reason' answer?"

I nod and she smiles, "yes, that is why."

"Well isn't this sweet." The voice calls.

I turn to the voice to see Minako there, her body is there but I sense Isao's spirit in it... I will kill myself for not being able to tell the difference, later.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Nothing," she replies, "Just your blood on the ground."

I raise my hand trapping her spirit in the grasp of the black ray shooting from my palm and forcing her out of Minako's body. As I do the same with Minako from Isao's body, then I force them to change back... once each of them find that their in their own body Minako slightly smiles at me as she gets a feel for her own skin again. I then turn to Isao starting to stand up finding that she's back in her skin.

"That was a very dirty trick Akio." She gasps from the pain I inflicted on her spirit.

"What you pulled was worse," I replied.

"That means a lot coming from you." She laughs.

"But there's still on thing that can be worse, and I know just who would love to do it." I reply with my own sick sneer.

As she stares at me I watch Hisoka slowly start to appear from particles behind her. As she starts to form her voice starts to call over us.

"Death, Death, go away," she hisses darkly. "Come again some other day."

Isao stares at the skies as I slowly get ready for a very sinister strike, placing one hand behind my back and slowly starting to change it to a type of claw, the veins pop out making themselves more definable under the skin. And my nails grow into sharp claws used for gripping human flesh and ripping out their souls. As I get prepared to make my attack Hisoka finishes up. As she does Isao turns to see her there and jumps a little backing in fear at her insane murderous grin and expression.

"Death, Death has come again," She says, "now you will die by him."

Hisoka grabs her and spins her against her holding her down and she then stares at me, I flash forward and send the entire claw into her chest gripping her heart and spirit, the entire time I send dark electrical jolts through her and she screams in pain. Hisoka grins wider as she sees mine turn to pure darkness.

I rip it out and then stare at her as her head soaked with the sweat of pain and blood mix together on the ground and my hand returns to normal.

"You deserve worse." Hisoka hisses in her ear. "And I intend to give you just that."

I walk up and gently lift her head to stare at me, her eyes show nothing but pain and hatred towards me. As I see her gasping to regain breath I ask her, "Who has hired you?"

She stares up and me and refuses to answer, glaring at me as if I was the lowest filth on the land.

Hisoka smiles a little at her defiance. "Maybe you should do the same to her as you did to me? Make her force the information out of this little one."

"I think I'll let you have fun with her... I'd rather catch up with Minako."

She smiles wider and as Minako and I start to leave I hear Isao shout out, "that soul is not pure. And your people know it."

I stop and we turn to her. I walk back over and smile. "I know for the fact that my people know my soul is not pure... but then again neither is theirs. Or yours... it will be fun taking it from you, I hope you know, and it's very painful."

She spits at me and I slightly chuckle. "You think you stand much of a chance... a slow witted assassin like you?"

She stares at me darkly, I press on, and "You should have killed me with the Kyuuketsuki... if you could have at all."

I get up and start to leave, "finish this Hisoka."

"You always know what to say." She smiles standing her up to move her to a different location.

"How did it feel Shinigami?" Isao calls out. "To be deceived by one you love most?"

I stop and start to get enraged. Hisoka turns her toward her and slices her cheek. "You dare even think about speaking of that in front of the shinigami?!"

Isao chuckles, and then stops when Hisoka looks at me, "nice puppy." She says with a smile.

Isao turns around to see my demonic canine form and then slowly sinks to the ground as she realizes her demise. I step closer and look back to Minako. She slowly nods her head and I return my glare at Isao. A black charge forms in my mouth and I send it at Isao. As its coming she closes her eyes and then is obliterated. I then return to my human form. I stare at the place she had been and then turn away from it.

I stare at Minako and she at me... I slowly let out a deep sigh of regret, "I'm sorry about the things I was so blinded to see."

She looks my face over and slowly leans up and kisses me gently. Once we part she stares into my eyes. "It's okay Akio... what matters now is that we're together at last."

"That still does not excuse me for what I have done..." I reply.

"Yes it does," she chuckles placing a hand on my cheek. "I love you Akio, and it does not matter what happened as long as you meant it for me."

We start to kiss again but Hisoka intervenes, "Can I go back to bed now, or do I have watch this torture."

I smile as I wave my hand at her giving her the "go on" gesture. She disappears and we return to our room.

I wake as she continues her slumber, something just won't let me sleep... I get up and go to the balcony and think about what it is... it could be that I don't have what I wish... I still have to watch people die as I have to kill them.... I have to feel their blood on my face, why they can't even feel the last beats of their own heart. I stare out and think, maybe I feel guilty about the job I have to do... or maybe I feel depressed because of the fact I can't help but move around carrying the ones I care for with me, giving them no choice in the matter... it's been that way for several months... and it's no more than just torture.

I keep thinking of way to get rid of this feeling that haunts me every day... when Minako's hand comes from behind and wraps around me, while she kisses my cheek.

"I know that look," she says softly, "and I'm concerned Akio... what's wrong?"

"I don't know... I can't shake this depression that's haunted me for years, millennia to be correct. And it's getting to the point where I can't bear this weight any longer. It's gotten quite heavy and it aches my..."

"Spirit," She asks.

"Funny how such a thing that's so far away tortures me with not being able to call it mine, yet feeling the very things that it allows... even if it's at such a distance."

She turns me around and stares into my eyes. "Akio, I do not know what to say about the matter but you can't let it haunt you like this... it's not healthy for you and can make you do things you wouldn't want to do. It tears people away from each other."

"I know," I reply softly, and with no hope, "but once you've had it for so long and at such a depth... you can no longer figure out why it keeps torturing you... you are left clueless of the attack on you but yet you can't get rid of it... it attaches itself to you and makes you think the way you do. And no matter how much you try, no matter how strong your will, it always over comes that... and it leaves you to rot inside your own flesh."

She stares at me with a deeper expression of concern than ever, "I don't know what to say. How long has this been torturing you?"

I look down at her and the tortured expression becomes more obvious as I reply, "ever since I got this wretched job."

After that I slowly sink to my knees as I realize that it's already consumed me to the point that there is no hope for me... I'm damned to a life of torture from this emotion that hell had never thought possible to find.

She lowers herself slowly to my level and sees the problems with what the discussion had caused, and tries to help by wrapping her arms around me and kissing my cheek gently as I stare blankly at the floor.

"Akio," she calls to me, "please don't let it consume you to that point, I need you hear with me... you need to be here with me. I love you Akio."

I look back into her eyes. With the same caring stare as she's giving me, "I love you too Minako."

She kisses me gently and I rest my head on her chest as she strokes my hair, gently humming a soft tone to help me calm down. I slowly start to close my eyes and drift to a slight sleep.

A dream appears in my mind. I'm watching a young child at play with her hair running with the wind, a young boy watches intently. An aroma comes from a kitchen window where a mother is working with pots and pans on the range.

"Onii, come play with me!" The young girl calls to her.

"Amaya, you know I don't like to play." He replies with no tone in his voice.

"But you never tried to." She retaliates back at him.

She moves over to him and takes his arm in her hand. "Please Onii, please? You'll love it if you try it."

The young boy looks at Amaya and then says, "Amaya you know I-"

The boy was interrupted by a door close; I look to see the mother walk out. She looks at the boy and then says with a soothing voice, "Akio, why don't you please play with your imouto?"

"But, okaasan,"

"Please Akio, you're otousan would want you to." She says with a slight smile.

He looks up at his mother, and then nods. He then gets up and they start to play a game of hide and seek. As he does, I see the younger me start to smile, for one of the rarest moments of his... my life...

Later that day after a good game was played and they were on the porch watching the sky's clouds, floating under a twilight sky. A man showed up at the home, we looked up to see the familiar cloak that was on his man. Akio summon the blade, that I have now today, and waits for his adversary's move.

As the man approaches we see him disappear, as I wait and listen I hear a wind run past me to the young Akio, he notices it and his blade blocks an attack stopping his enemy head on. Then blurs are all I see of the two, moving over the yard, and then finally stopping with both of them breathing heavily. The man, under his hood, smiles.

"You've learned well," he says to the boy.

"It took a lot of learning and training, otousan."

"You keep in mind what you have learned my son, and you shall never fear a man in your life." He says. "Now come with me, your mother and I require your pressence. After you put your imouto to bed."

She looks up at him as he talks to me and runs over and hugs him. "Otousan!"

"My young Amaya," he says picking her up. "Have you been listening to your okaasan, and oniisan?"

"Yes I have been,"

As she tells them about her day, they head into the home.

I watch the skies move faster as if life was speeding toward a moment in time I had to see.

As darkness showed up, I see the fire from the windows of the home, and then a black light shoots out and the fires die. After that a glowing, eerie figure walks past a window and then blood spatters on it, screams are heard from both the mother and the father.

I awake from that scream covered in sweat, the memory of that horrid night still haunts me.

As I think about what happened in the dream I find myself looking toward the window... I notice a dark blue flickering on the pane. I get up, get dressed, and go to investigate.

I look down on a small court yard, I notice someone in a cloak kneeling in the center of a pentogram. The candles on the points just flicker with dark blue flames with black in the center. I hear a made up language I remember that a younger sibling of mine had made up from long ago. I teleport to a tree branch over head and hear Amaya whispering to some lost spirits.

"Aren't you too old for that old made up language," I call from my perch, taking her by surprise.

She looks up at me and glares.

"Aren't you a little old to keep scarying me like some little girl?" She snaps back.

I teleport from my post in a black smoke yet leaving a double there in my place. I teleport behind her. Slowly trudging closer, still speaking. "It's not like you've made any progress yourself..." My double says.

"And you'll always be my baby imouto."

She jumps and turns to see another me. "Damn you Onii!"

I chuckle, "are you saying that you are incapable of doing the same."

"Like your doing right now... or, trying to do right now." The other me calls.

"How come you do not die when you have seen your doupleganger?" She calls to me, the one on the branch.

"It's easy," The other me says.

"That's not a doupleganger," I finish for him.

She turns to me, "what the hell do you mean?"

I see a black beam shoot behind me and smile when I hear Amaya's double scream.

"Damn!" She says.

"I mean it's a spell my dear sister," I say.

The other teleports to the opposite side of Amaya, "A spell that you have yet to master."

"Stop it Onii!" She cries.

"Why?" I reply with my eyes glowing red, summoning a shadow dome around the three of us. "This is just the begining of what I can do."

"I believe that!"

"Do you really?" The other me calls as the shadows surround us forming our cloaks, "it seems like you don't."

"What do you want?" She starts to cry.

"You know what we want." We both call at the same time.

I summon a third one and he stands on the side of Amaya, opposite of the fountain. After that the candles of the pentogram shot into roaring flames of pure darkness, and the pentogram starts to change. She stares down in horror realizing the symbol it's changing into.

"Onii stop! Please, stop this!"

"You know I can't." I sneer a sick horrid sneer, "once the Shi has been called, the damage is done."

"Akio, onii, you can't. I'm your imouto." She cries.

"Amaya look at me." One says.

She turns to him and he starts to loose his flesh to the point of decaying shread on a horrid skeleton covered in what looks like soot. It's eyes are full of the engery I produced into it. His hands summon a bone scythe. After he lifts it up, corpses of worriors long past start to dig out of the ground, his skeletal army carrying the weapons they died with on battle fields that corrupted men made them fight through. The blades ruined with rust and chipped egdes.

She starts to back away from them, and the one who was thirdly summoned, after trading spots with me, calls her next, "Imouto."

She turns to look at him, he looks younger. slimmer, almoust gaunt, and then slowly sways with the breaze as an army of corrupted men and women march into ranks behind him as he holds a scyth that's bent in the handle and has a clean, sharp, obsidian blade.

His smile shows his fangs and an emotional thirst for blood.

She turns away and then finally looks toward me. It scares her more than the other two.

My solo figure shows a black , flame-like energy form around me and my scythe appears in my hands and the kuroi hi sworming the blade. I glare at her as I slowly start to rise in the air and a huge dull, tan, skeletal dragon digs out of the ground and I land on its head. As I do it rears back and looks around. It spots Amaya and lets out a huge roar.

She back up toward the fountain that's pouring blood and the statue with my soul on top of it.

"Onii, please, stop!" She cries for her life. "I don't know what you want, and I don't care why, but please tell me what I've done to deserve this."

"You gave her a government position in our people!"

"Who?"

"You know who!" I scream at her. "The only one who was flesh and blood to us yet hated who we were!"

"You don't mean,"

"She gave me to the demonic blood viper for food!"

"You do mean obaasan."

"Who the hell else would I mean?!"

"Well you do mean to kill alot of people.... I mean... it is your job."

I glare at her in such away she cowars back even more ceasing her tongue.

"Only she is my target." I continue to glare at my little sister. "It is her time. And she's the only one in this 'family' that I really would love to kill right now."

"By why do I have to bring her out here? Can't you ask someone else?"

"You are highest in the government. She has no choice but to listen."

"Damn."

She stares at me and then both of us feel a pressence in the area.

"Come out from hiding Hisoka... I know your there."

She appears behind me and probably with a smile on her face.

"You know... your no fun to sneek up on if your not willing to take a surprise."

"You know it's bad for your health to sneek up on the Shinigami like that, don't you?"

She walks up and places a hand on my shoulder walking around me in a slight fashion of sinful play as her fingers trail across my neck and cheeks. "Yes... but what is life without a little danger."

"That must be your favorite begining for a sentence... 'but what is life without a little... whatever.'"

She stops and thinks for a minute and chuckles. "Too true."

She then turns to me and looks back at Amaya. "So is there a family plot of betrayel or what... cause I want in."

"This doesn't concern you so stay out."

She turns back to me and frowns. "Now your no fun."

"Wasn't meant to be." I reply.

She then smiles a dark grin. "Are you sure you'll be able to beat her then?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean can blood really kill blood? Or does a third party need to be involved?"

"Are you saying that I won't be able to killer her because she's family?" I ask a little angered by her comment.

"Exactly Akio, exactly." She says walking circles around me. "Are you really that heartless to attack your own poor deffenceless obaasan?"

Now that she mentions it, it does seem a little unlikely... no matter what she's put me through, she's still my obaasan...

"Exactly," Hisoka says after studying my face.

"Stop putting words in my head!" I snap at her quickly.

"Wow, didn't know I could with the big bad shini-"

"I get it!" I yell. "You big and bad andI'm weak as hell."

She stops and stares at me with both shock and concern.

"Can we just kill her so I can keep living?" I ask. "Or is that a problem."

"So you can keep on living?" She asks in a confused tone.

I realise my mistake and then walk away from her.

"Akio wait!" She calls out trying to run to me.

I place a trap on the ground I used on Isao while she occupied Minako's body. She steps on it and is instantly frozen into her position.

"Akio wait!" She calls out struggling to move again.

I walk and disapear into a large batch of crows, teleporting outside of the city so I can think and rest.

'I need to kill her.... but I cannot do it unless I feel the rage of what she did to me in the past.'

But the more I try to think about it my words are interupted by Hisoka's. "Are you really that heartless to attack your own poor deffenceless obaasan?"

"DAMN YOU HISOKA!!!!!"

I hear some one step behind me and turn to see hisoka walking up.

"Go away now... or I will kill you." I call drawing my sword from my back.

"Just shut up for two seconds and answer my questions, Akio."

"No. I don't want to answer any stupid questions you may have okay? Just get away."

"You honestly don't mean that."

"Oh no I do. Everybody just stay away from me until this hole ordeal is over... okay? That's what I want right now."

"And you think you need that?"

"I'm making the calls of what I need okay not you. You make the calls of what you need."

"I need to know what it is that you said would kill you."

"Why would you want to know that?" I turn to her my sword at the ready.

She stares at me and takes a step closer, "put that down I'm not looking to kill you okay?"

I stare at her for a moment and think about all the things she's been looking for from me... "You want to learn so much.... what in the world is going on in your head?"

"That's for me to find out. And you to hopefully never know."

"Then stop probing me."

She smiles a small sinister grin. "I could... we majo's have always been taught in the ways of experimentations."

"Does that include disecting frogs?" I scoff at her.

"No, we did that before we could walk."

"Wow..."

I sheath my blade and walk past her. "You coming or not.... we're going back."

"I thought you were moping in the woods forever."

"Shut the hell up... I have to kill someone."

"You have to?"

"Yes me. Lets go or I'll leave you behind.... again."
