2 Days Later:

Naruto slowly opened his eyes to find himself floating in a liquid of some kind. He saw Appule sipping on some coffee as Naruto tapped the glass. Appule looked up from the screen and spat out his coffee, "LORD BYTE! You're awake!" Appule shouted as he quickly opened the healing pod. The liquid drained from the pod as Naruto felt his feet touch the ground. He soon collapsed as Appule opened the hatch and knelt down beside him, "Lord Byte, do you need help?" Appule asked

"P-please," Naruto replied as Appule wrapped an arm around him. He helped Naruto to his feet as he spoke into his scouter, "Lord Frieza! Lord Byte as awakened! I'm bringing him to his room," Appule said, "come on, let's get you to your room,"

"Y-yes, please," Naruto replied as Appule helped him to his room. As Appule and Naruto walked out of the healing-pod room, they saw Frieza soldiers in the halls saluting them as they walked by. After a while of walking, Naruto and Appule made it to Naruto's room as Appule set him on the former's bed, "Would you like anything to eat or drink, Lord Byte?" Appule asked

"Ramen would be nice," Naruto replied as Appule nodded

"Of course! Perfect! Something nice and light, would you like Miso?"

"Please," Naruto said as Appule rushed to fetch Naruto's food. Naruto laid on his bed for a few moments before he heard his door open and something landed on his stomach, "NII-CHAAAAN!" Kuriza shouted at the top of his lungs as he bounced on Naruto, "You're alive!"

"Of course I'm alive," Naruto replied as he hugged Kuriza

"I-I thought you w-would die," Kuriza said as Naruto scoffed

"Bah, I wouldn't die. Not since I got you waiting for me, otouto," Naruto replied as he heard someone cough. Standing in the doorway was his father, with a small smirk on his face, "What? Am I not a good enough excuse for you to come home?" Frieza asked as Naruto gave a nervous smile

"N-no! That's not it at all! I-uhhh,"

"Oh, quiet, my son," Frieza replied as he walked over and picked Kuriza off of Naruto. Setting Kuriza at Naruto's bedside, Frieza gave a sigh as he said: "So, how are you feeling?"

"Like I'm getting used to gravity," Naruto said, making Frieza laugh

"Oh ho ho ho ho ho, that is quite the feeling, isn't it? Well, we better get going to give you time to rest. Come along, Kuriza, leave you brother be," Frieza stated, making Kuriza sigh

"Aww, but dad," Kuriza whined

"No buts, now go to your room and make sure you have all your toys. I'm not turning back like last time," Frieza said

"Yes, daddy," Kuriza replied, walking out of the room with his father behind him. But before Frieza left, he turned and looked at Naruto, saying: "Oh yes, I forgot to mention. Byte, you have a new job. As second in command of the Frieza Force, you are granted and elite personal squadron of your own, the Byte Squad. Once your feeling well again, I'll have Ginyu start teaching you the ropes,"

"W-wait, what?" Naruto asked, but it was too late. His father left the room before he could hear him, making Naruto sigh and lay his head on his pillow.

10 Minutes Later:

Appule returned with Naruto's food and placed it at his bed-side, "Lord Byte! I have returned with some Miso Ramen, per your request!" Appule said with a salute

"Thank-you, Appule," Naruto said as he sat up and grabbed the bowl. Naruto started to eat when he noticed something. The ramen was off. Something about it didn't seem right as Naruto looked down at it and then at Appule, "I-Is something wrong, m-my lord?" Appule asked

"Where did this ramen come from? Did doesn't take like Ichiraku Ramen," Naruto said

"T-that's because it's not," Appule answered

"Oh... well, it's still ramen, don't want it to go to waste," Naruto replied, making Appule give a sigh of relief. As Naruto finished the bowl, he set it back down and asked: "So, why didn't you get me some Ichiraku Ramen?"

"I-It's a little hard to get ramen from a planet light-years away, m-my lord," Appule said. Naruto raised an eyebrow as he asked: "What are you talking about?"

"I-I'm sorry, Lord Byte! B-but your father requested that we left the planet immediately after you were put into the healing pod when you returned from your fight!" Appule said with a bow

"What?" Naruto said in surprise, "We're off-planet?!"

"Y-yes, sir!" Appule answered as fast as he could, bracing himself to get shot. But no pain was registered on Appules body as he saw Naruto run to the window and see nothing but stars. It was confusing for Naruto as he saw the stars go by. It was a beautiful sight and yet, he was so far away from the place he called home. Staring into literal space, Naruto gulped as he slowly backed onto his bed and sat down, "Appule... you're dismissed," Naruto said

"R-right away, sir!" Appule said as he grabbed Naruto's empty ramen bowl and ran out of his room. Naruto sat there as his room was as quiet as it could be as he thought: 'I-I didn't say good-bye to anyone... I-I don't think I'll be able to see them again,' when the door opened

"NARUTO-KUN! IT IS GOOD TO SEE YOUR FLAMES OF YOUTH ARE BURNING BRIGHT!" shouted Lee, making Naruto jump from his bed and face-plant into the floor

"Lee, knock it off!" shouted another voice. Naruto rubbed his face as he turned around to see Lee and Sakura wearing Frieza Force armor, Sakura's being pink and Lee's being green. Naruto was surprised to see them as Naruto shot off the ground and said: "What are you guys doing here?! Lee I can understand, but you, Sakura?"

"Naruto-kun, it is good to see you in such youthful health! This makes me was to celebrate by doing 100- no! 1,000 celebration push-ups! I'll get started!" Lee said as he dropped to the floor. Naruto sweatdropped as he looked at Sakura, who had her arms crossed and was looking away. Naruto waited for a few seconds until Sakura said: "Well, I guess you want some answers, huh?"

"Yes," Naruto replied, Sakura sighed as she looked straight at him

"I wanted to get stronger,"

"Eh?"

"I. Wanted. To. Be. Strong. There, I said it," Sakura said

"Okay, but why not train with Granny Tsunade? Why here?" Naruto asked. Sakura gained a tick-mark on her forehead as she screamed: "BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE PLANET BUSTERS YOU IDIOT! THEY'RE MANY TIMES STRONGER THAN LADY TSUNADE!"

"OW! OW! OW! OW! MY EARS!" Naruto shouted as he covered them

"*Sigh Listen, Naruto, you're... you're all I've got left," Sakura said, causing Naruto to look at her like she was crazy

"Mind explaining?"

"Sasuke's dead and I-I was the weak link in the team. You, Kakashi-sensei... and Sasuke. Y-you were all so much stronger than me. I guess I... I wanted to become strong too. Training with you and Jeice, it felt... it felt great!" Sakura explained, "For the first time in my life, I felt like I could do anything! Like I wasn't a weak-link anymore! And these past few days have been the greatest of my life! Look at this-"-Sakura pointed to the emblem on her chest-"- I'm a candidate for the Ginyu Force!"

"Really?! That's great!" Naruto said with a smile

"I know, right? Anyway, I think we better leave," Sakura said as she kicked Lee in the head, "Come on, Lee! We're leaving,"

"Sakura-chan, please! I was only at 384 push-ups!" Lee whined

"You can do those outside of Naruto's room, we're leaving so he can get some rest!"

"Okay! Naruto-kun, after you are feeling better, let's have a spar!" Lee said as he got off the ground and gave Naruto a thumbs-up. Naruto gave a nervous smile back and thumbs-up as Lee left, Sakura following behind. Naruto then gave a normal smile as he collapsed onto his bed and fell asleep from everything processing in his mind.

1 Day Later:

"Byte! Are you awake?" Frieza asked as he knocked on his sons' door

"Wahuuugh... huh? What?" Naruto asked as he sat up, "Come on it, it's open," he said. Naruto's door opened, allowing Frieza to walk in, "I see you had a nice slumber," Frieza said

"Yeah, it was great. Probably the best nap I've had in my life," Naruto replied. Frieza smiled as he saw that his son was happy, "That's nice to hear... but a nice wake-up call isn't the only reason I'm here," Frieza said

"Oh, breakfast?" Naruto asked

"No, I'm here as a warning,"

"Warning? For what?"

"Fo-"

"There's my Grandson!" King Cold said as he came into Naruto's room, "How are you doing, Byte?"
