Wednesday night, at the PC

3rd Person POV

Adrienne and Jason are now inside the PC, which Jason expected to be mainly empty. He was half correct in his assessment. Some of his friends from SmackDown and from other places are there. Two people he didn't expect to see are the Queen of Queens, Jade McMahon-Helmsley, and the Son of the Demon, Wade.

Jason: What are they doing here?

Adrienne: Do you know those two?

Jason: They're practically my siblings. I'll introduce you to them. Follow me.

The two make their way to the ring where Jade and Wade are standing in.

Jason: What are you two doing here?

Wade: Hey Jason. Jade and I were told by Uncle Shawn to come here. He said to expect a couple of visitors.

Jason: That explains why Hunter didn't really care that we came here.

Jade: Who's your friend, Jace?

Jason: She is Ember Moon.

Adrienne just does a little wave with a nervous smile.

Wade gets out of the ring and walks towards the two before leaning forward a little and whispering.

Wade: If I were just meeting Jade for the first time, I'd be nervous too. She's kinda mean.

Jason just laughs while Adrienne isn't sure how to respond to the information the 7' monster from hell just told her.

Jason: He's kidding. Out of the three of us, I'm the meanest.

Adrienne starts laughing before she sees Jade and the demon's heir nodding their heads, their faces as serious as can be. She looks back at Jason, who has a small smile on his face.

Jason: I'm not sure why you're so shocked.

Adrienne: Well, I just met you tonight and you seem nice so far. But I also remember seeing you here when you tossed Braun around like he was a cruiserweight. I didn't know what to think.

Wade: You have no reason to be scared of him. Jason was raised to respect women and to never lay his hands on them with any malicious intent. He isn't mean to women unless they really piss him off. Even still, he'd never lay his hands on them.

Jason just nods, confirming what the demon's son says is true. Adrienne takes in the information she just gathered about her potential partner, unsure of what to do or say next.

Jade: While you two are here, you wanna do a mixed tag match?

Jason: Do you know what you're doing?

Jade: Yeah. Uncle Shawn had Wade come down here to do some tag stuff with me.

Wade: It's true. She's pretty good.

Jason: But is she good enough to face a former NXT Women's champion?

And with that, the four get in the ring, ready to square off against one another.

Jade: So, who's gonna start?

Wade: You know the rules. Ladies first.

Jade: Why are those the rules?

Wade: I don't know. Ask Jason.

Jason: Ladies go first. It's called being polite. But if you girls would like, Wade and I will start.

Wade: I've been looking for a chance to kick the badass's ass.

Jason: Bring it, lil' cousin.

HBK, from the corner: Ding ding ding!

Jade: Have you been standing there the whole time?

HBK: Someone has to be the referee.

Wade: Well get in here, old man.

HBK climbs into the ring as the two giant "cousins" lockup. Jason pushes Wade into the corner and continues to push as Shawn counts. Once the count reaches 4, Jason moves back a little before barrel tossing the king of hell across the ring. Wade uses the nearest corner to stand back up, but is met with a splash from Jason. America's resident badass grabs Wade by the back of his head and starts moving him towards the corner where Adrienne is waiting. Wade grabs onto Jason and hits him with a back suplex, changing Jason's plans. Both stand back up quickly before trading right hands. Wade works Jace against the ropes before Irish whipping him. After bouncing off the ropes, Jason jumps into the air and hits Wade with a leaping clothesline. They both slowly make their way to their feet. Wade and Jason lock back up before the reaper reborn hits the harbinger of hellfire with a vertical suplex. Both crawl to their respective corners, their partners calling for the tag. They manage to tag their partners in, Adrienne and Jade rush at each other. Jade goes for a clothesline, but Adrienne sees it coming and responds with a dropkick. Adrienne doesn't let up, picking the queen of queens up and throwing her into the corner. Adrienne runs towards the corner, doing a cartwheel but is caught by Jade, who hits her with a spine buster. Jade goes for a quick cover but only gets a one count. Adrienne makes her way to her feet only to be lifted up into a powerbomb position. Taking advantage of her position and her athleticism, Adrienne performs a hurricanrana. Jade makes her way back to her feet before rushing Adrienne with a leaping knee, knocking her down to the mat. Jade locks a downed Adrienne in a headlock, which becomes ineffective as Adrienne fights out of it, throwing Jade into the ropes before drop kicking her. As Jade and Adrienne continue their battle in the ring, Jason begins to lose focus, concentrating on his own thoughts instead of the match.

Jason, in his thoughts: Haven't seen anyone move like that before.

HBK: You like her, don't you?

Jason: Huh? What? No. I just met her.

HBK: Look, Jace. I've seen that look. I've had that look. You already like her.

Jason: Uncle Shawn, I just met her. I'm not thinking about dating her. I'm just trying to figure out if adding her to the feud with Alexa and Bray is the best decision or not.

HBK: So you took her to the PC so you could see what she can do and vice versa?

Jason: Bingo.

HBK: As long as I've known you, you've had your dad's sense of judgement. So, what are you thinking so far?

Jason: Having her in the feud would be great. But I don't think it'd be fair to her. She's got a lot of talent and this feud could cost her more opportunities than she would get from this gimmick.

HBK: I talked to her while you and Wade were throwing each other around. She said that she'd be up for it. She's worried about stealing the spotlight or ruining your feud. You two both think it'd be great, but are too busy worrying about the other.

Jason: So what do you think Adrienne and I should do?

HBK: I say go for it.

Jason: Thanks, Uncle Shawn.

HBK: What are favourite uncles for if they don't help their favourite nephew out? Don't tell Wade I said you're my favourite.

Jason just laughs before paying attention to the match. Jade has Adrienne in the position for a pedigree. Adrienne does a back body drop before tagging Jason back in. Wade rushes at Jason, but doesn't get a moment to do anything as Adrienne dives off the top rope, hitting him with the Eclipse. Wade turns around into a Tombstone. Jason crosses Wade's arms as he pins him and gets the three count.

Adrienne does her usual in-ring victory celebration as Jason does his. The two look at each other and raise each other's arms in the air.

HBK, talking to Jade as the victors continue to celebrate: Yep, they like each other.

Jade: I give it a month before they even kiss.

Wade: I give it a couple months. They both seem like careful people.

HBK: With the potential storyline they'll be doing, I'd say Wade's guess is spot on.

Jade: Ten bucks says your wrong.

HBK: I'll take that bet.

Adrienne and Jason get out of the ring and head over to their stuff.

Jason: Great job, Adrienne. No wonder you were NXT Women's champion.

Adrienne: You weren't too bad yourself.

Jason: So, have you thought about the storyline?

Adrienne: I have. I think we should go for it.

Jason: Same. I'll let Bruce know.

Jason grabs his phone and texts Bruce.

Jason: We're both in.

Bruce: I'll let Hunter know. So you guys on Monday.

With the decision made, Adrienne and Jason continue to train a little more with the master manipulator and hell's goliath.

HBK, texting his long time tag partner: I think there may be a new power couple on the rise.

Hunter: I think you might be right. Only time will tell.
