After Izuku Izumi and Katsumi passed the exam it was time for them to head up to the school. Soon after that speech they finished the test as Izuku finished in the top 2 as he made first. The reason for him being in the top 2 was because he was tied for the ball throw with Ochako other then that he showed that he was stronger then what they realized. Soon after the quirk test they were told that they could go home for the day.
