At the Hero Assocation HQ, the board of executives are discussing about Mumen Rider will remain as the top-ranked Class C Hero as well as the number of people, who signed up for the Hero Certification Exam.

Hero Association Worker #1: Then it is decided that Mumen Rider will remain the top-ranked class C hero.

Hero Association Worker #2: Understood. I will let him know.

Hero Association Worker #3: I simply cannot understand why he has no desire to move up to class B...

Hero Association Worker #4: Our next agenda item is the Hero Certification Exam. For this exam, the total number of candidates is...

Hero Association Worker #5: 11,684, with the exam offered at six different venues with the exam offered at six different venues. That is an increase of more than 22% over the previous exam.

Hero Association Members: (Gasps in Excitement)

Hero Association Worker #3: We mustn't be happy with simple quantity. Even with more candidates, if the quality of the heroes is reduced, the numbers are meaningless. Therefore, we ought to be even more critical during evaluations. Also, I hear that a certain person of interest is taking the exam this time and this mysterious person that somehow saved many innocent lives and defeated many monster attacks has decided to take the exam as well.

Hero Association Worker #6: Yes, it hasn't been confirmed yet, but it seems very likely that he will.

We then see the documents that he was holding that belonged to Y/n aka the Son of Godfield as they were expecting to see if Y/n is willing to sign up for the Hero Exam to become a member of the Hero Association after they managed to collect most of what they gathered from Y/n's heroic acts before the attack on the House of Evolution and the Paradisers.

Location: Hero Testing Stadium

Hero Testing Worker: Candidates, please form two lines for registration.

At the Hero Testing Stadium, so many people have arrived to test their skills and strength to see if they are acceptable to become an official Hero at the Hero Assocation as Y/n arrived just in time for the Hero Testing to test his skills to become a member of the Hero Association as he is dressed up in only his working shorts as he is next in line to test out his skills to the Hero Association, even though the other candidates started laughing at Y/n for his appearance, despite of the buff muscles that he worked really hard to earn during his 1000 year training with Godfield as Y/n is about to start the first test...

Side-to-side jumps for 30 seconds!

Hero Testing Working: Ready...Go!

Y/n then started jumping from side to side at the speed of light as streaks of lightning hovered around him with his eyes glowing brightly, which suddenly made the other candidates that laughed at him, changed to more of a shocked expression with them sweating bullets of what they just witnessed as they move on to the next test...

The 1500 Meter Run!

As Y/n started running at full speed while the other candidates are running on the track, they failed to notice Y/n running past them for more than 10 or 20 times like he's faster than 10 Flashes at full speed as the two Hero Testing Workers immediately timed him that is a remarkable 00:00:00.1 seconds after Y/n crossed the finishing line that made the two workers completely frozen in pure shock after what they just witnessed from the Son of Godfield.

The third test is...

Weightlifting!

Instead of using normal weights, Y/n replaced them with two big literal black holes and started pumping iron like a real pro, causing the other candidates and the Hero Testing Workers to step back in pure shock, away from touching those black holes that are the size of two wrecking balls.

Next...

Shotput!

Y/n threw the shotput ball so hard it made a huge hole on the wall of the stadium from Y/n's sheer strength and skill in shotput.

Vertical jumping!

Y/n jumped up so high up in the air that crashed through the roof and landed back down without crashing down to the floor since he has cat-like reflexes and cats always land on their feet like so.

Whack-a-Mole!

By using the arcade machine of Whack-a-Mole as part of the Hero Certification Testing, Y/n literally destroyed all of those moles from that machine, thus turning the entire machine that he's using into nothing but scrap metal.

And for the final test....

The Punching Machine!

Y/n unleashed his most lethal punch to the punching machine, causing it to crash through the walls of the stadium as it went over a few city blocks, thus finishing his Hero Exam as most of the other candidates that witness all of that from Y/n decided to leave and find another job to attend than doing this hero gig after seeing Y/n ace all of that exam as he waits in the locker room in his traditional outfit and awaits for the results.

Y/n: (Whew!) Finally done with all the tests. Now I just wait for the results. (Spots Saitama and Genos) Oh, you guys done, too?

Saitama: Yep.

Genos: Yes.

Y/n: Nice. I knew taking the exam would be cakewalk for the three of us. (To Genos) Hey, is there a point in you taking fitness tests?

Genos: Huh?

Y/n: I mean, can't you just give them the data on your specs?

Saitama: Yeah, that would've made this a lot faster for you.

Genos: Uh...

Y/n: Nevermind. So how was it you two?

Genos: Both the written and fitness tests were far too simple.

Saitama: I did my best on the written test, but the fitness test was too easy for me to handle.

Y/n: Right? Is that really all there is to becoming a hero?

Genos: We should get our results soon. 70 points is a passing grade. The written test was so easy anyone could get full points on it. That just leaves the fitness test, which for us should not have posed any problems.

Y/n: Well, I pretty aced both tests with flying colors, so it should be all good from here once we get our test results.

Announcer: (Through Intercom Speaker) Mr. Y/n. Please come over to the Office for an immediate interview.

Y/n: Huh. I wonder what they want. I'll be back guys. This shouldn't take too long.

Timeskip - ONE HOUR LATER

After one whole hour, with Saitama and Genos still waiting for Y/n to come back from the interview as the test results finally came in as Genos got a perfect score and became an official S-Class hero.

Genos: I 100 got points.

Saitama: Seriously?

Genos: Yes. It says I'm certified as a class S hero.

Saitama: Class S? What's that?

Genos: I am sure these rankings mean little. How did you do, Master?

Saitama: Huh?

Saitama then checks on his test results on his envelope and slowly pulled out the paper to see a letter and he starts to believe that he is also ranked as a Class S Hero based on the letter that he's seeing on the paper right now.

Saitama: Oh! The letter says I'm also...

Genos: Class S. I am not surprised. On top of that, the font size is bigger than mine. I expected nothing less, Master.

Y/n: (Enters the scene) Hey guys. I'm back.

Saitama: Huh? (Notices Y/n) Oh hey. The test results finally came in.

Y/n: Really? Did you guys pass the exam?

Saitama: Yeah. Genos and I officially became S-Class Heroes.

Y/n: Nice work. I knew you guys have the potential to become official heroes and you two instantly became S-Class Heroes. I'm really impressed.

Saitama: Yep. Looks like all of that hard work really paid off. By the way, what did they ask you at the interview?

Then we see a flashback of Y/n being interviewed by a couple of Hero Association representatives that started asking him questions for an hour straight that involved with the incidents that happened in the cities that Y/n has been in and take out the many monsters that attacked the cities and saved the innocent people in those cities along with reviving any of them that died during the monster attack and restored the buildings and structures to their original state.

Right now, they have one final question for Y/n that is involving with the House of Evolution and the Paradisers and they got all of the evidence to prove it.

Hero Association Worker #1: Just one final question, Y/n. Does this building look familiar to you? (Shows Y/n the photos of the House of Evolutions through a tablet) We've been secretly investigating a group of troublemakers that call themselves the "House of Evolution." Just when we identified its center of operations, we found the building had been mysteriously destroyed.

Hero Association Worker #2: And obliterated with overwhelmingly intense firepower. Are you responsible for this?

Y/n: I'm afraid not, but I was with two heroes named Saitama and Genos, who both teamed up with me to deal with the threat and Genos used his cyborg abilities to completely obliterate the entire building, which revealed that the House of Evolution is located underground. We managed to take down the entire operation after that. Also, on the next day after that, I took down the former leader of the Paradisers and managed to heal the wounds of the hero by the name of Mumen Rider.

Hero Association Worker #1: Very well. Congratulations, Y/n. You're officially an S-Class Hero here at the Hero Associtation.

Y/n: Hold up a minute.

Before the Hero Assocation Representatives could give Y/n the chance to be a S-Class Hero, Y/n stopped them before the third representative could stamp the S-Class Rank stamp on his resume.

Y/n: Before you give me the results, I wish to start off this role as a hero at the lowest rank, if you please.

Hero Association Worker #1: Are you sure you want to start at the Class C Rank?

Y/n: Yes. I just don't like the idea of receiving such a high rank like Class S, even though I passed both the written and fitness tests, I want to prove myself as a hero by starting off at the lowest rank, so I can use my heroic efforts to prove to everyone that I can be a true hero instead of making them believe that I only became a hero just for the fame and the money. Is that a problem?

The Hero Association Workers went silent for a moment before they accepted Y/n's offer to start off as a Class C-Rank Hero as they stamped the Class C Certified Hero Stamp as Y/n is now an official hero.

-End of Flashback-

Genos: I see...I suppose it makes sense that you wanted to start off as Class C because you were afraid that people might think you only made it to Class S to stroke your own ego and fill up your bank account.

Y/n: That's right. I am not that kind of person to be that kind of hero. Well, at least you guys got a higher ranking than me and you're both proven yourself to be professional heroes. (Sees Saitama looking out the window.) Saitama? You, okay?

Saitama: Yeah, after all...I'm just a class C hero with a score of 71 points.

He then shows Y/n and Genos the paper that labeled him as a Class C Hero as he only made it to 71 points due to him have a bad grade on the written exam and only passed from the fitness exam from his powerful strength. The two of them are completely shocked from seeing Saitama's test results.

Y/n: (Shocked) Are you f***ing serious?

Genos: (Thinking) I see. So, I mistakenly thought the top half of the "C" was part an "S."

Saitama: (Yelling at Genos) Stop analyzing it, jerk!

Y/n: This must be some sort of mistake. I'm going to go will talk to the person in charge.

Saitama: No, don't! You'll just embarrass me!

Y/n: Why not? I can't let you start off at Class C like that. You got to

Announcer: (Through Intercom Speaker) Mr. Genos. Mr. Saitama. Mr. Y/n. There will be a seminar for successful candidates at 4:00 PM. Please come to lecture hall #3.

Y/n: All right, come on. All that really matters is we passed. Let's get it over with and go home.

Saitama: Alright.

So, Y/n, Saitama and Genos went out of the locker room to get to the lecture hall to attend the newcomer hero seminar, before we cut over to another location to a movie studio, where we see the famous Class A, rank 1 Hero, Sweet Mask as he is talking to a Hero Association Representative as he wanted to

Hero Assocation Worker: We finally found the mysterious person we've been looking for.

Sweet Mask: So, I've heard.

Hero Assocation Worker: In consideration of his past accomplishments, we made an exception, and we were going to certified him as a Class S hero, but he wanted to start off as Class C hero instead. He clearly explained why he wanted to start off at Class C, so we decided to pass him off as a Class C hero. I just wanted to make sure you were notified of this.

Sweet Mask: I understand, and I approve. (Looks at the Confidental paperwork of Y/n's Hero Association Papers) Y/n, huh?

Location: LECTURE HALL #3

As Y/n, Saitama and Genos arrived at the lecture hall for the newcomer seminar as the Class A, rank 38 hero, Biting Snake Fist Sneck gives the three new heroes a fair warning as part of the lecture after they all successfully passed their test to become official heroes at the Hero Association.

Sneck: Congratulations on passing. Now one of you only made it on a fluke, so unless you want your luck to go to waste, I better see you giving it your all. And don't get all puffed up! From here on, keep your hero status in mind and act modestly! After all, your faces will be placed on the Hero Association website.

Y/n and Genos remained calmed and silent as they both paid attention while Saitama is slouching and barely even listening to Sneck as he is currently chewing gum loudly. This is starting to anger Sneck as he thinks they're not even listening to him, mainly just Y/n and Saitama.

Sneck: (Growls) Did you hear me? That goofball head of yours or even those weird looking cat eyes of yours is gonna be shown to the whole world. If you don't want to humiliate yourselves... (Shows off his fighting moves to them) Aspire to be a fine hero like me!

Then Saitama blew a big bubble and it popped, covering his whole face in sticky bubble gum as Y/n and Genos tried to get the gum off his face.

Genos: Master!

Y/n: Ah shit! Get that gum off his face before he accidentally swallows it!

Sneck: As a class A hero, I have some influence over the Association. I'll make sure those who behave irresponsibly will be losing points and get demoted. Don't you forget it! Have I made myself clear?

Y/n: (Thinking) This guy is so strict and so rude, but I can understand why he's so serious of teaching any newcomers that got the job at the Hero Association. Better stay away from this guy if he ever tries to do something that will get on my nerves.

Saitama: (Thinking) What should I have for dinner?

Timeskip - 30 Minutes Later - After the seminar

After the newcomer seminar, the three new heroes of the Hero Association all head their way back home after completing the exam as Genos explained how the Hero Association was founded and formed.

Genos: Apparently, the Hero Association was formed about three years ago.

Y/n: Interesting. So that's why they needed to hire heroes to take down the monsters and the many criminals that commit crimes and create utter chaos and destruction to the cities.

Saitama: So, it's only been three years?

Genos: It was after the grandchild of a millionaire called Agoni was attacked by a monster. The child was saved by a passerby. When Agoni heard what had happened, he came up with this system and used his fortune to establish the Hero Association.

Saitama: Well, they put on some pretty boring seminars.

Y/n: True, but I always do some seminars at my church in my universe since I am the Son of Godfield after all. In any case, as new heroes, we'll be known around the world. Now we can work with our heads held high as official heroes. Well, I better get back home, so I'll see you guys.

Saitama: Ok then, see ya. (Remembers Something) Oh wait!

Y/n: (Turns back to Saitama) Yeah?

Saitama: Before you go, I was wondering if you want to challenge me to a battle tomorrow?

Y/n: Hmm....are you sure about that?

Saitama: Well, yeah, you're incredibly strong and I figure we would test out our strength somewhere that no one will get hurt, if you know what I mean.

Y/n: Well then. If it's a battle you want, then I accept. I know a place where we can fight at. Meet me at my apartment at 9 AM sharp, you'll won't regret this.

Saitama: Ok then. I'll be there.

Y/n: I thought so.

Genos: Master, are you sure you can handle him in a fight?

Saitama: Relax, Genos. This is just for practice, it's not a real fight.

Y/n: Yeah, it's cool. You can join us if you like. You can even use some of your cyborg skills against me as well.

Genos: Very well. I accept your offer.

Y/n: Alright then. Then it's settled. We'll start our practice tomorrow morning at 9 AM to test out our abilities, so we can be ready for what we have to face to become true heroes.

Saitama: Ok then. I guess I'll go home then.

Genos: Right. Good night Y/n and Master Saitama.

Y/n: Ok see ya.

Saitama: See ya.

So, then the three of them went home after a long day as they all planned to meet Y/n at his house at 9 AM to do some training in his very own pocket dimension. Then we cut back to the Hero Association, where we see Sneck and a Hero Worker Representative, who are both discussing about the newcomers (Y/n, Saitama and Genos) from the seminar and Sneck was not happy after meeting them even after giving them the lecture after they passed the written and fitness tests.

Sneck: Those three newcomers today, did they really pass the exam? Their attitudes were awful! I'm Class A, rank 38 damn it, and they had no idea who I was. Plus, they don't know the first thing about how the world works. They're a bunch of amateurs! They'll be dead in no time.

Hero Association Worker: No.

Sneck: Huh?

Hero Association Worker: Genos got perfect scores on both the written and physical exams. He's a phenomenal rookie, who gained a class S ranking right off the bat. The second one, Saitama, had terrible scores on the essay, but scored a perfect on the physical. That's how he was able to pass at all. But lastly, the other new recruit named Y/n, passed both the written and physical and like Genos, he also gained a Class S ranking that is enough to make him the new Number One hero to replace Blast and above Terrible Tornado. However, he somehow refused the offer and wanted to start out at a Class C ranking just to prove himself that he can earn that title of Number One hero. But in practically every activity on the fitness exam, he broke the Hero Association's test records by inconceivable margins than Saitama's, not to mention that he completely demolished the Exercise Equipment and parts of the building structures.

Then a flashback happened as it's shown inside the Hero Testing Facility as in the aftermath of Y/n's fitness exam as he made a lot of damage to the facility that completely shocked everyone after examining what's left of the equipment and seeing the footage of Y/n's fitness exam that they used as research.

Hero Association Worker: Frankly, it's as if he's some sort of a God disguising himself as human to blend in with the crowd. It's quite impressive that a God like Y/n has managed to save thousands if not millions of innocent lives and took down many monsters and evil organizations for the last several months.

Snek was shocked to hear that from the Hero Association Worker after he explained about Y/n, not realizing what he's really capable of.

Hero Association Worker: Snek, you've already been outranked by Genos. And with Saitama's physical test score, he will rise to ranks and outranked you as well and with Y/n's godlike powers and abilities, he will catch up with you soon enough.

Snek couldn't believe that he lectured a god like Y/n as he couldn't believe what he just heard from the representative.

Snek: That jackass?

Meanwhile with Y/n...

After saying his goodbyes to Saitama and Genos, Y/n is currently walking down the path back to the supermarket, before he can go back home to his universe to celebrate his new role as a hero at the Hero Association as he starts to think about the ranks that he needs to get to in order to be a true hero.

Y/n: If I get to the top of class C, then I'll get promoted to class B and class A is above that, with class S even above that. Genos is pretty lucky to be in Class S, so it looks like me and Saitama have to work hard to get to Class B if we want to catch up to Genos in Class S. It's a good thing that I refused the offer to be in Class S like Genos, because I hate to leave Saitama in the lower ranks. I just hope this is whole hero thing in this universe is all worth it in the end.

Then suddenly, Y/n heard the sound of footsteps nearby as he looked around to see Snek heading towards him as he is about to ambush him after finding out about his fitness exam back at the Hero Association.

Snek: The newcomer seminar isn't over yet! In this business, there's a little thing we like to call, "rookie crushing". A lot of us heroes hate to be outranked. (Prepares an attack) So, we crush newbies early on... like this!

He performed one of his special attacks on Y/n, hitting him in the face, only to get his hand crushed and broken in the process, that made him draw his hand back in pain.

Snek: GAH! DAMN IT! WHAT THE HELL?! HOW ARE YOU EVEN THAT STRONG?!

Then suddenly, Y/n suddenly grew angry as a menacing aura hovered around him with his eyes glowing blood red as Snek knew he messed up big time as Y/n looked at Snek in the eyes and asked him;

Y/n: Are you challenging me?

Then Y/n copied Snek's martial art skills and did the same attack at Snek while changing the arm that he's using to attack Snek into an actual snake that bared his fangs at Snek as the hero freaked out from what he's about to get what's coming to him.

Snek: What the F***!!!

POW!

After that, Snek was lying unconscious on the pavement and was only got punched in the face by Y/n as the whole snake arm thing was just an illusion and he didn't want to get kicked out of the Hero Association if he actually killed Snek as he went back to walking to the supermarket to get what he needed and head back home as Y/n didn't like this so-called, "Rookie-Crushing" as he believes to be nothing but a game for immature child and will not stoop to their level as he wants to treat the other heroes with the utmost respect.

Y/n: Yeesh, people like that should be drug out into the street and shot.
